It has been a week for Rebecca to work in Hutson Corporation. In these few days, she's not only learning new things but also made some friends who love to talk with her in their free time.

She started to find a new apartment for herself in the neighborhood. Julia and she went to a few apartments but it didn't go well with their demands.

In these few days, Mr.Hutson was very well satisfied with her and got new plans for her. But before that, he wanted to ask her about her background.

He can find out everything just by calling his men but he wanted to get information from her directly. He wanted to know more things about her.

After today's work is finished. The next day is going to be the weekend and then Edwin is going to join his place in the office. It means today is his last day as a president. But he still didn't inform the office employees about it.

They will get messages at night.

Mr.Hutson doesn't like to stay in the spotlight and always did work in silence. Everyone knew about it so, no one was going to be surprised even if they heard the news but yes they would be curious about their new president Edwin.

In the afternoon, when Rebecca comes for lunch in the canteen Julia is already waiting for her at the corner table. Today there were only two of them to eat together because others were still busy with different tasks.

"So, how was your day?" Rebecca asked with a smile.

"Don't ask me!!!"

"Whole day is hectic!" Julia sighed.

Rebecca just nodded and told her to wait in her seat. Today she's the one who goes to order the meal.

Julia didn't refuse and just followed her words.

She opened her phone lock and started scrolling on it while Rebecca went to order a meal for both of them.

A few minutes later, Rebecca came back to their table with food trays in both hands.

Julia helped her to put the trays on the table and then take her seat.

"What about you?"

"How was your day?" Julia asked, taking one bite of a cheese sandwich.

"Normal, nothing new to say!" Rebecca answered without looking in her direction.

She stares at her food plates where she sees coriander leaves in vegetable soup. She wanted to eat something light but at the same time healthy for her baby.

But she doesn't like to eat many things these days. Her mood swings are getting big.

She likes coriander leaves in her daily time. But now she doesn't like it anymore.

As she saw it in her soup now, she started to take them out one by one and put them on the side of the plate. She's not going to eat that.

Julia saw her action and chuckled. Now she's used to her silly behavior related to food. She's now become a picky woman when it comes to food.

After they completed the meal. Julia went to her department while Rebecca went to her.

As Rebecca enters Mr.Hutson's cabin. He looked at her with a wide smile.

"Sir, you need to attend the urgent meeting one hour later," Rebecca reported and fell silent.

Mr.Hutson nodded and looked at her before starting the other conversation.

"Rebecca, come and sit!"

Rebecca did as Mr.Hutson told.

"Sir, is there anything you want to talk about?" Rebecca asked.

"Yes, I want to talk about something!" He laughed lightly.

Rebecca nodded and waited for him to say something.

"Rebecca, you are a great employee and I'm truly glad to have you as my secretary."

"Rebecca Dear, I want to know more about you! If you don't mind!" Mr. Hutson's words were soft and gentle. His eyes always looked at her with fatherly love.

Rebecca also can feel these things. But hearing that Mr.Hutson wanted to know about her background made her a little uncomfortable.

She felt silent for a moment before starting the talk.

"Sir, There is nothing much to talk about." Rebecca's eyes turned dull. There is pain that could instantly be felt by Mr.Hutson. He already guessed her family life is not as simple as others.

"It's alright dear! If you don't feel like talking! I just want to know who is the person bringing such a good child like you!" Mr. Hutson's voice turned low while he smiled with concern towards her.

Rebecca looked at Mr.Hutson and thanked him, "Sir, thank you for understanding my situation!"

Mr.Hutson nodded his head lightly and responded, "Dear, no matter what situation you faced in the past but remember! Now you have me beside you! So, never be upset anymore! You are always like a daughter to me and welcome in my home!"

Rebecca's eyes became enlarged to hear those words from Mr.Hutson's mouth. His face looked at her seriously.

Rebecca knows he is not lying or saying those words as sympathy.

"Thank you, Sir!" Rebecca responded feeling touched in her heart.

Mr. Hutson's words already made her eyes soft while she felt like she was talking with her own father.

"Dear, one more thing I need to announce!" He said while she stared at him.

"Today is my last day as a president!" He announced while she felt shocked.

"S...Sir but why?" She couldn't help but ask.

"Actually, starting next weekend my son is going to join this company. He is going to take my position." There is a big smile on Mr.Hutson's face.

Rebecca now understood his words' meaning.

"As a father, I feel proud to announce this." He laughed while Rebecca smiled and nodded.

"Rebecca, Every parent waited for this day when he finally gave his authority to his next generation, his son! And this moment always made every father's chest-high!" Mr.Hutson's happiness could be seen by his smile.

"Congratulations Sir!" Rebecca congratulates him.

Mr.Hutson laughed and said, "Thank you, Rebecca dear!"

"But don't say 'Sir' to me anymore!" He said while Rebecca looked at him with an awkward smile.

"But...how...I.."

"Dear, I insist. Just take it as my last order! Because from next weekend my son is going to be your boss!" He laughed in the last sentence.

Rebecca lightly smiled and nodded.

"Alright, Uncle!"

Mr.Hutson was satisfied hearing her calling uncle to him.

"Good girl!"
