"Hello,"

"Hello, babe!" Julia's cheerful voice from the other side of the phone made Rebecca smile.

"I feel someone is so happy." She stated as she could sense Julia was enjoying her tour of her parent's house with her delighted tone.

"Yeah, you are right. I truly enjoy this moment Rebecca. I was missing them so much that after meeting them today it felt so wonderful and my heart lightened to watch them smile to see me coming here for them. They almost cried hugging me."

Rebecca's eyes turned softer to hear her words, "They should be missing you so much."

"Yes, they are!"

"I'm glad. I can come today and meet them." Julia breathed out in big relief after saying these words.

"That's good." She responded feeling delighted for her.

"Thank you, Rebecca, for pushing me to go and meet them. Today I watched my mom and dad's precious expressions, it's all because of you."

"There is nothing to be thankful for. I just want to see you happy and I know not going made you upset." She responded with a pleased tone.

"Still, you are the best!" Julia added.

"And so you are!" She reacted back.

"So, how are Uncle and Aunt's health?" She asked her.

"They are healthy and fit. Just like their daughter." Julia happily explained.

"That's great." She chuckled.

"So, tell me, how's your checkup gone? Is everything good?" Julia questioned.

To which, she replied, "Everything is fine. The baby is healthy and gaining weight."

"Wow! That's cool!" Julia chuckled happily and added further, "And what about the instructions which she consulted to give you."

"She told me to start a little exercise. So, in delivery time, there will be no issues. And more than the list to do, she made a paper report and gave it to me to read on. While the doctor instructs everything to Edwin in person."

"Good, then you can just ask him. If you don't understand anything. And one more thing, how was Edwin's reaction seeing the baby on the monitor with you?"

Rebecca's brows arched to hear her, "How did you know that he comes inside the ultrasound department?"

Julia rolled her eyes even when she was not seen by Rebecca.

"Babe, are you hiding? He is a dad! He is allowed there." Julia explained which made Rebecca embarrassed.

"Sorry, I just…."

"Babe, just tell me, how was his reaction?"

Rebecca thinks about him and that situation deep inside her mind. Only thinking about the moment her lips soon curled up as she responded, "He got tears in his eyes."

"Really?" Julia's tone was filled with disbelief that Edwin, like a powerful businessman, could cry.

"Yes," Rebecca made her sure.

"I can't believe he knows how to cry also." Julia's words made Rebecca remember she also felt like that before but in the last few weeks, she discovers Edwin is just like any simple human being and not arrogant like a rich person. He never tried to hide his real emotions or feel shame to show them to her. Not even his weak appearance or now tears. She's not witnessing for the first in his tears but the situation is just the opposite.

That time she's leaving him. This time she is sharing a parenting bond with him for their upcoming child.

Thinking all this she soon responds to Julia, "It's not like he is the only one who got tears but I also could not help but feel emotional."

"Julia, it's an incredible feeling to watch our baby growing with every moment. And I again want to thank you today."

"Because of you, I tried to walk out from the shadows of the past and see the world with new colors."

Hearing her, Julia sighed with a deep smile, "Alright, you don't need to be more emotional any longer. Didn't you just say, ``This is what we should do for each other?"

"And don't forget! We are soul sisters. So, doing something for each other doesn't need 'thank you."

Rebecca agreed with her words and replied, "That's true."

They both warmly smiled and continued with their little longer talk when the doorbell attracted Rebecca's attention.

She told Julia she can stay if she wants but Julia informed her she will be back before evening and ends the call.

Rebecca put the phone on the table and walk towards the main door to see who come out there.

As she pulled the doorknob, she saw Edwin standing at the door.

"Mr. Edwin?" Somehow without knowing she called him the old way.

Edwin's forehead creased to hear him calling 'Mr.' again. While she noticed his expression and soon corrected her mistake.

"I…I mean, I never thought to see you here?" He never comes inside her building.

Edwin nodded and looked at her casual appearance without any makeup, a completely fresh clean face that looked tempting to him.

"So, what…happened?" She slowly asked.

Edwin met her eyes and forwarded his one hand to show her the report bag.

"You forget this, in my car. I just noticed it when I'm going to the office after home. So, I thought to send it to you."

Rebecca shortly raised her hand to take the bag from his hand and said awkwardly, "Oh! Yeah…"

"Thank you for sending it. I forget it."

"I know." He instantly replied.

While Rebecca thought it had almost been three hours, he sent her home and now he came back to send the bag again.

This made her feel guilty, "I'm sorry, you need to come back for that. It's almost evening now. You can ask someone to send it. You don't need to come this far by yourself..."

"Are you worried about me?" Edwin teasingly speaks out.

Only to make her eyes stunned, "Huh?"

"No…I mean you need to drive back again here…" She paused between her words.

Edwin's straight lips finally made a little round in the corner to see her hecticness and he responded, "It does not matter how far you live, I can come a thousand times. To see you and our baby every single time. And I already miss you and that peanut…"

Rebecca's eyelashes flicker as her cheeks turned red just like tomatoes. She never knew he could flirt like this also. But now when he did, she could only feel shy and blushing herself without speaking a single word in response.

She thought to change the talk, "I think you should come inside. You are standing out there for a long time." She moved from the door to let him in.

However, Edwin instantly denied her.

"No, it's alright. I just came to send this and see you last time."

Hearing his last sentence her forehead showed lines, "Last time?"

Edwin could read her mind so he immediately responded, "Yeah, actually, I'm going outside of the city for two days and tomorrow evening is my flight. So, I thought to see you today again, as I don't know if tomorrow I can manage to come or not."

Rebecca understood and nodded in understanding.

"And one more thing, if you need anything, you still can call me. No matter how busy I am, you and our baby are my priority. So, don't think about anything before calling my number."

Rebecca never thought he could understand her this much. If he is busy, she is never going to disturb her. But his clear words now made her feel special.

"Alright, I'll remember that." Rebecca looked at him with gentle stares while his eyes focused on her. Like he is occupying her every single expression reflection deep inside his mind to imagine it when he goes far from her the next day.
