"How did this happen?" Rebecca walked towards the couch and sat on it.

"I just told my team leader. I have a period and can't attend the office today."

Rebecca's face frowned as she glanced at her with a deep frown and doubt, "But I don't think so, you got a period the way you are enjoying watching cartoons in the early morning with two full bags of chips beside you and a coffee mug on the table."

Julia chuckled to hear her, "Yeah, you got it right. I just made an excuse to get the holiday."

Rebecca wasn't surprised by her trick and asked directly, "But why? There should be a reason for you to stay home."

Julia takes the chips packet in her hand and digs her fingers inside it to pull the chips while she responds to her words, "For shopping. We are going shopping."

"Shopping? Suddenly?" Rebecca raised a question while Julia stopped eating and looked at Rebecca with a small awkward smile.

"Actually, Rebecca…"

Rebecca noticed her hesitating.

She walked toward the couch and sat on it.

"Why do I feel you are hiding something from me?"

Julia timidly smiled feeling awkward about where to start her words.

"Tell me, Julia, your silence makes me more suspicious."

"Actually, Rebecca…"

"Sam asked me for a date." Her cheeks turned red with shyness.

"What?" Rebecca pressed her hand above her mouth to feel too surprised.

Rebecca removes her hand as her lips get a big smile on her face to hear this news.

"Oh my Julia, that's great news. I'm so happy for you." She stood and went to her seat to hug her with excitement.

"Are you not angry? I didn't tell you before?" Julia inquiries.

Rebecca shook her head and released her from the hug before responding to her words, "Not at all. I'm so happy for you that you are finally taking a step further with Sam. Congratulations. I hope you both turned out to be a great couple."

Julia shyly smiled at her words and thanked her at last, "Thank you, Rebecca. I'm happy at least I got you here to celebrate my happiness."

"Me too!" Rebecca responded with a big tender smile.

While they both hold hands together feeling blessed to have each other as soul sisters.

"So, when are we going shopping? You should need a great dress for your first date." Rebecca could not hold her excitement to think about her friend going on her first date.

Julia never saw Rebecca this excited today before.

She felt too delighted to see her participating like this in her joy.

"Yes, we will go in the afternoon. I know a good mall where we can go to purchase my dress."

"Good then." Rebecca nodded to agree with her plan.

As he entered his cabin, he went to take his seat. While Sam put down all the files in his hand on the big table in front of him.

"Sam, what about our new construction project?" Edwin's brows arched deeply with seriousness.

He glanced at Sam and asked him, "Do you have any solution for this issue."
