Chapter 186: Chapter 186
Shopping Mall
"This place looks amazing." Rebecca glanced at the shopping mall and commented on it.
"Yeah, it's got brilliant outfits and I just searched last night on the internet. They are launching a new collection of dresses from today." Julia excitedly announced while Rebecca nodded with a small chuckle.
"Let's go inside. I can't wait to see their new bomb collection."
"Rebecca, I'm so excited." Julia interconnected her arms with Rebecca and declared cheerfully.
"Yeah, I can see that." Rebecca laughed quietly to see her friend's nonstop excitement from leaving home to coming here.
"Hope, I'll get my dress from here. I don't want to roam elsewhere." Julia crossed her finger to pray to get the best dress for her first date.
While Rebecca looked at her with an assured smile and said to make up for her stamina, "You will, because no matter what you wore. You will look beautiful in all and I think Sam will also comment the same if he is with you right now here."
Julia's lips curled up wider to hear her words, "Thank you for your best words, babe. It's completely boosted my inner confidence."
"Glad to hear that. So, what are you waiting for? Let's go inside and grab your dress before another lady snatched it. Didn't it the first day of launch? There should be a good crowd to get the best collection." Rebecca's words made Julia also remember that it was the first day, so they need to be fast before the collection is sold out.
"Yes, Babe! You said right. We need to be fast. Come on! Let's walk inside." Rebecca nodded to her and both of them entered the big mall with great energy.
"Mam, you should try this one. It will look great on you." The saleswoman showed the turquoise color knee-length one-shoulder dress to Julia and Rebecca.
Julia fell in love with the dress at one sight and could not help but feel excited.
"What do you think Rebecca? Is this going to look great on me?" Julia held her arm and asked with an energetic tone.
"Yes, it will. You should try this one." Rebecca encouraged her to try that.
"Alright, then I'll do that." Julia happily added.
While they both turned to look at the saleswoman to ask for a changing room.
"Mam, the changing room is on the left side. You should go and try it on."
"Thank you," Julia responds with a smile.
While she turned Rebecca asked her to sit in the corner and wait for her to come out.
Rebecca agreed to her and Julia immediately rushed toward the changing room.
When she got there. Some women were already in line to try on the dress. Julia frowned and sighed. Before she takes out her phone from the purse and texted Rebecca to tell her it can take time as there is a line.
Rebecca replied okay. While Julia silently waited in the line for her chance.
"Mom, I feel that turquoise dress is so beautiful that we just didn't buy it." Chole tried to explain to her mother Mrs.Wilson.
"Sweetie, we just started shopping. We should first check more options. If it's not looking good we will go and buy that for you." Mrs.Wilson explained to her.
"Alright, mom. You are the best. Let's do that then." Chole smiled happily and both mother-daughter pairs entered the jewelry section to buy some excellent jewelry for themselves. Forgetting about clothes.
Rebecca looked at her busy surroundings where every woman was busy buying something.
She stood from her seat and thought to stroll around to check on more dresses as casually.
While walking she crossed some beautiful lace dresses that were all coming in different shapes, designs, and colors. She felt curious to check on them one by one when her hand stopped one of them. It was in a peach color with a sweetheart neck style A-line dress.
She felt it was too Gorgeous.
"Hello, Mam," Hearing greeting words, Rebecca turned to look. She saw another saleswoman standing with a bright smile on her face.
Rebecca slightly nodded with a small smile and said, "Yes,"
"Mam, if you like this dress. You should try it. I bet it will look gorgeous on you and it's just a one-piece." The sales lady explained to her.
While Rebecca nodded awkwardly and tried to rectify her, "Sorry, but I don't need that. I came here to buy a dress for my friend and she is now in a changing area."
The saleslady understood her words.
"Ohh I see Mam, So sorry to disturb you. I thought you wanted to try it." The sales lady politely explained.
"No, it's alright. I'm just scrolling. But I should now go and sit. My friend should be back soon." Rebecca explained to her while the sales lady nodded and went to her seat back.
When Rebecca gets back to her place she finds Julia already standing with the Sales lady.
"Where did she go?" Julia inquired the sales lady.
"I don't know, Mam. She should be around." The sales lady responded to her.
Rebecca heard their conversation and walked towards them.
"Are you asking for me?"
Hearing Rebecca's voice Julia immediately turned around and looked at her with great relaxation.
"Oh, Rebecca! Where have you gone?"
However, without responding to her
Rebecca looked at her from tip to toe in that turquoise dress and commented faster, "You look gorgeous on it, Julia."
Hearing compliments, Julia could not help but smile the next moment.
"Thank you, I also loved this dress." Julia's face lit up with a big smile on her face.
"So, do you want to roam more or get this one?" Rebecca asked.
Julia looked at herself in the mirror and declared, "I don't think, there is any more need to roam. It's perfect. This is my dress."
"I also feel that." Rebecca gently smiled at her while Julia felt too happy to get her dress finally.
"Mam, so, are you going to buy this dress?" The sales lady walked toward them and asked with a big professional smile.
Julia looked at herself last time in the mirror and immediately nodded, "Yes, I'm going to purchase this."
"That's great. This piece looks absolutely beautiful on you."
"Thank you," Julia politely smiled.
"Mam, you can go to our personal trial room and change this dress there. It's empty right now." The sales lady explained while Julia immediately thanked her and went back to change the dress.
A few minutes later she came out with a dress in her hand and gave it to the saleslady.
"Here is the dress."
The saleslady took the dress from her hand.
While Julia unzipped her purse and took out the money card to give it to the sales lady for billing.
"Please pack it."
"Yeah sure, Mam. I'll be back soon with your dress bag." Julia nodded while the lady went to the counter.
