After changing her dress into a nightgown she stood in front of the mirror-like always. Nowadays she loves to talk with her baby standing in front of the mirror.

She did the same thing today but with a happy soul. There is no longer sadness. She felt too relieved just like Edwin after making things work out for them.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror and let her palm rest on her belly to feel her baby.

"Baby, I hope, now you are happy just like your daddy. I'll never let you suffer the same fate as mine. You will get mom-dad both love and both presence. You will not miss your dad just like I did when I lose my mom. I promise I'll always think about you first before I think about myself. I hope you can be a happy child with a happy future…"

She softly mumbled all the words looking at her belly while creasing it with a tender smile.

However, soon mother and baby time is disturbed by her phone's message tone.

She turned and glanced at the bed where her phone was resting.

She slowly moved towards it and picked it up to check on the screen.

When she views it, Edwin's name pops up on her big phone screen.

She felt a little excited and hesitated at the same moment.

Her lips pressed her lower lips to feel a little unsure whether to check it or not.

But quickly she removed her chaotic thinking and pressed the open button to read his message.

She read out the two words message.

'Good Night.'

Her lips curled up automatically and she was ready to type back a 'good night' back.

However, her fingers slightly pause to press the send button.

Is it alright to respond now? She started to think. However, thinking that not replying also could create so many questions in his mind. She finally pressed it and took a deep breath heavily.

On the other side, Edwin looked at the full shining moon from his room's french window full of tender smiles.

He doesn't remember when he last smiled before today. But now he is glad to be smiling again and this is all because of Rebecca.

He is thankful that she finally offered him this chance to be a part of the baby's life. It means now they are both going to be parents together…thinking the last statement felt like chuckling. Because Yes, they were turning parents as soon as Rebecca got pregnant with his child.

However, today is all different. The meaning is different. Because now she is full of heart and agrees to let him be part of her baby. She thinks he is going to be a good father even after his mistake.

How could he not be happy and feel fortunate?

He never thinks that thing is going to change like magic when he almost feels like giving up on his willpower.

For him, this night is always going to be memorable. He can't imagine anything that could make him this happy as he is just now.

He was lost in his thoughts when he heard a beep sound coming through his phone.

He checked on the phone as soon as it was in his hand.

His eyes enlarged with surprise to see Rebecca reply to his text.

He opens the text and reads the good night message and feels so pleased.

He stared at the screen for a long time before he finally put the phone back in his pants pocket.

And glanced back at the bright moon with determined eyes and whispered, "Baby, your dad will win your mom's heart also. I promise to you."

As soon as he finished this sentence he was filled with complete determination to do every single thing to get her back in his world. He doesn't only want a baby, he wants his woman back also.

Tonight he feels like a brand new guy who's going to persuade his baby's mother.

Julia's Room

"That's great news, Julia! I can't believe Ms.Rebecca finally forgives the boss and also accepts him to be part of the baby's life." Sam was almost shocked to hear this great news which he got from Julia as soon as he called her late at night for a talk.

"Yeah, it's like a big surprise to me also when she told me about her decision. But I'm too happy for her. She made the right decision and most importantly by herself without getting pressured by anyone."

"That's right and this is why it's great news. I'm too glad for both of them to start their new life with their upcoming baby."

"Yeah, me too." She responded.

While Sam thought about talking about their first date preparation.

"So…."

"Did you prepare everything for the weekend?"

Sam tried to sound modest.

However, Julia's face turned clueless.

"Preparation? For what?"

Sam felt surprised to hear her words.

"Yes, preparation, did you forget about our dinner night planning this weekend?" He explained it to make her recall.

As soon as she heard about dinner night. She recalled everything and bit her lower lips feeling too embarrassed at this moment.

She almost forgets about their date planning. How could she forget the important thing? About her first date?

On the other hand, after a long time passed, he didn't hear from her. He tried to speak up, "Hello Julia, are you there?"

Only then did Julia remember he was still on the phone.

"Oh sorry!" She halted for a moment and then responded, "I'm really sorry, Sam. I don't know how the dinner plan slipped from my mind." She felt too guilty at this moment and hearing her upset tone Sam soon replied, "No it's alright. I understand many things have happened these days."

Julia sighed in relief to hear him.

"Thank you for understanding."

To which Sam chuckled and replied, "There is worry until you don't cancel the dinner thing."

Julia's lips curled up to hear him, "Don't worry. It's not going to happen."

"That's great then."

"So, now I can finally hope to see you at our dinner place." Sam teasingly stated.

While Julia blushing replied, "Yeah, Sure..." In a shy voice.

To which, Sam could not help but smile to hear her timid response.

"Great." Sam nodded and looked at the wall clock where it was almost too late.

"Julia, it's too late now. You should be tired. So, let's talk the next day."

Hearing him, Julia also watched her clock and agreed with him.

"Alright. Good night.

After the phone disconnected both of them looked at their black phone screen with blushing smiles.
