Edwin, without any thoughts, just stared at Rebecca's window with empty eyes. When Sam's car stopped in front of him on the road.

His eyes moved to look at the car and instantly realized to whom that car belonged.

Sam gets out of the car and looks at Edwin with a stunning gaze while Edwin just silently watches him.

"Boss?" Sam could only blurt out his name in shock as his boss's misbehaved appearance already made him speechless. He never watches him like this. With his current appearance, no one can say he could be a billionaire empire owner.

What he always saw in the past when working with him. Even after drinking alcohol, his boss always maintained his aura and power easily. He didn't show any signs of drunkenness like what he drinks is not alcohol but water.

But now seeing him like this, he guesses, people changed or love changed people. After thinking about that. He finally went to approach him.

He walked toward him and immediately smelled strong alcohol from his body and clothes. Yet avoiding that he finally gets near to him.

"Boss…"

Edwin just watched him in silence like he was not ready to talk for now.

However, Sam was ready to continue his words, "Boss, I came here to take you residence. Please come with me…It's already midnight and you need to change your clothes and take a rest."

Listening to him, Edwin didn't speak and turned his gaze back to Rebecca's window. Like he wanted to see her again or last time before leaving with Sam.

On the other side, Sam followed his gaze and finally found out. He looked at Julia's apartment window.

This made him feel bad for Edwin. He saw his boss this disturbed before. Only Rebecca could do this to him.

Moreover, he can't help Edwin to solve their issue in any way because the main opportunity already slipped from his boss's hand to rectify his mistake. Now, all he could hope Rebecca would forgive him for their baby.

He sighed helplessly in his heart thinking all this and continued his words again, "Boss, please come with me…Standing here not going to solve anything…"

Edwin finally flickered to his words but still maintaining his gaze on her window, he just opened his mouth to ask next later, "Who told you that I'm here, Sam?" His voice was calm and quiet. His intoxication almost went away. It almost felt like that.

Sam looked at Edwin with a pause for a second before answering him in a considerable tone, "It's Julia…She told me, Miss Rebecca asked her to call me and take you with me…as she doesn't want to watch you."

Listening to Sam, Edwin lightly nodded his head and eventually turned to walk towards Sam's car, before announcing in a quiet tone, "Let's go."

Sam soon nodded and went toward the car. Edwin looked at the building last time and then opened the car's door to get inside. While Sam takes the driver's seat and starts the engine.

Edwin leaned his body comfortably and closed his eyes when he breathed out deeply to call Rebecca's name.

Sam glanced at Edwin from the front mirror and sighed helplessly.

After driving for 15 minutes. When he was ready to turn towards Hutson's Mansion. Edwin asked him to go back to the bar.

Sam tried to stop him but he couldn't do anything but go where he wanted at last.

However, this time Edwin was not alone. Sam didn't leave his side all the time.

After staying in the bar for a whole one hour, Edwin turned completely drunk again and this time he even couldn't handle walking straight. But because Sam was there, he helped him all the time and took him out from the bar to take a seat in the car comfortably and got to sleep at last after a hectic day.

When on the other side Sam starts to drive and finally stops in front of the Hutson Mansion to drop Edwin off.

He called the home butler to come and help him to take Edwin inside.

However, Butler needs to inform Mr. and Mrs.Hutson about Edwin's arrival before he goes out and helps him in any way. Because after Edwin left, They ordered every servant that they couldn't take orders from Edwin or help him in any way and if he came here, they needed to inform them first.

Sam was waiting patiently for Butler to come out. As he turned to watch Edwin who was already asleep in his seat.

He glanced at his wristwatch when he heard the door unlocking sound.

He turned back to stare. When he saw the main door almost open and Butler was right there in front of him but to his surprise, he got Mr and Mrs Hutson with him.

Watching them, he felt they were going to ask about Edwin's condition. Why did he drink so much? However, Sam got many ideas on his sleeves to rescue his boss. So without any tension he shortly walked toward them and greeted them with a calm voice.

"Hello Sir, Hello Mam."

However, they didn't greet him back or give him a smile. All they asked next later was why he got Edwin here. He is not welcome in their house.

Sam was shocked to hear their words and soon asked, "Sir-Madam what are you both saying?"

"You heard right, he does not belong to us anymore. Please take him to another place because we are not going to take him inside." Mr.Hutson's voice became sharper. While Mrs.Hutson silently heard her husband.

Sam was completely stunned to see them behaving like this to their son and could not help but raise a question, "But Sir, why are you so hard on Boss?"

"Sam, just go back. We don't want to talk anymore." Mr.Hutson coldly declared and turned to go back home without even glancing at Edwin while Mrs.Hutson stared at her son in the car with an upset eye before following back to her husband.

The butler sighed and looked at them to go and when they were both gone he walk towards Sam and touched his shoulder.

Sam stared at him and asked, "Uncle, what happened to Sir and Mam? Why are they behaving coldly to the boss?"

Butler looked at Edwin and then Sam.

"Mr.Sam, I think you should first take a young master to another mansion. He should be living there."

Sam's face frowned. He doesn't know about it at all.

"When does the boss change his residence?" He inquired of him.

But Butler just shook his head and said, "I'm not 100% sure if he is staying there or not but after leaving home, that is his next home. As it is an old mansion."

Sam got many questions but all he could do now is a nod at last and leave the mansion.

After reaching the old mansion and making him lie on the bed. He dropped back to his own house and texted back to Julia to inform her that Edwin already got home safely.
