Rebecca looked at her tired gaze and said with a heartbreaking tone, "But, this is the truth, he is the man who left me that night after using me…" Her heart tightened to remember that thing. As she closed her eyes only to let her tears roll to her cheeks. While she added later, "Julia…Why does he need to do that with me? Playing with my body is not enough for him so he used my emotions this time…"

Julia bit her lower lips and immediately sat back beside her and held her hand between her palms, "Babes…" She doesn't know what to say to make her feel calm. When she is the one who asked her to give Edwin a chance and accept his love confession after telling the truth. She thought Edwin is the right person but after knowing the truth, she felt guilty to make her believe that that man is good enough for her friend and baby.

"Julia, What should I do now? I…I…fell for the wrong person and it hurts so much here…" She pointed to her heart.

Julia's eyes got tears to hear her words and immediately wrapped her arms around her to give her a warm hug.

"Rebecca, you don't need to cry for that person. He doesn't deserve your love. I can never think Edwin could be like that. He could be the person behind your condition. This is completely shocking but it also made me realize that we can not judge people by their handsome faces."

Rebecca understood her words and hugged her back as sobbing turned harder.

Edwin confessed his mistake in front of his parents who couldn't believe his words at first and thought he was making up a story in front of them. However, his gloomy silence gets them to go serious.

"Tell me Son, whatever you are saying is just a kind of joke. It's not true. Won't it?" Mrs.Hutson held Edwin's shoulder with a serious big hope that whatever he just blurted out related to him and Rebecca is a lie. He can't do those lowly things to Rebecca. Her son is not like that.

She never brings up his son as a coward and cruel. He had been a gentleman from childhood then how could he just leave the woman after making a physical relationship without the woman constant. She can't believe Edwin's words. It's just horrifying deep inside her heart. She was scared to hear this is truly true.

While on the other side, Mr.Hutson sat on the couch with a disappointed expression. He doesn't think his son is making any kind of jokes right now. Edwin's falling face assures him that he is telling the truth. He doesn't know where he falls to bring him well.

He is the son, whom Mr.Hutson always felt proud of but now looking at his son today, he felt only guilt and disappointment deep inside his heart. He felt helpless and hurt.

"Son, why are you not saying anything? Just tell me, it's a joke, and I'll trust you." She cupped his face with her palms. While she glanced at him full of motherly hope.

However, Edwin could not help but clenched his fist tightly with guilt and shame, he stared at his mom with rimmed red eyes before asserting the words heavily grieved, "Mom…whatever I told you and dad, it's true…I truly did that to Rebecca…I left her when she needs me and she's pregnant because of me…" His voice started to shake as his heart tightened with unbearable pain inside him to confess his fault in front of his parents.

While Mrs.Hutson almost froze to hear him. Her eyes widened with shock and rimmed red with tears. Her hand moved from his cheeks to press on her mouth with a terrifying feeling.

Her body turns numb all over her body at this time.

"Mom…I.." Edwin could see how shocked his mother was.

However, before he could speak further, Mr.Hutson came toward him and slapped his face with anger.

This made Mrs.Hutson let her tears roll down to her cheeks but she didn't speak for him and stood silently there.

While Edwin looked at his father with a guilty gaze, "I'm sorry to hide this big thing from you both…"

"Edwin, how could you?... How could you do that to that little girl? Is this what we taught you in our whole life?" Mr. Hutson's voice turned louder with anger while he greeted his teeth with outrage.

"I'm sorry, Dad…I never thought…My mistake is going to hurt many people one day." Edwin's voice is halted.

Mrs.Hutson came forward and angrily yelled, "Edwin, do you think? Is it just a mistake and your 'Sorry' is going to change anything? You gave that girl lifetime punishment! What did she do to deserve this damage from you? Do you think we are the ones whom you need forgiveness from?"

Edwin stared at the ground while he could not take his mother's words.

While Mrs.Hutson continued with her angry words, "Son, you didn't make a mistake. You did a 'Sin'. You just destroyed someone's whole life. And still, dare to approach her. I can't forgive you, for what you did..."

Edwin immediately raised his head as tears ran from his eyes, "Mom, don't say that."

Edwin felt desperate at this moment.

"My wife, saying right! You don't deserve to be our son…we will never forgive you for what you did to Rebecca." Mr.Hutson went beside his wife and looked at him with angry eyes.

Edwin felt someone smash his heart.

"Edwin, if you truly wanted to apologize then just go and ask this forgiveness from Rebecca. Until she accepts your apology, we will not see your face." Edwin didn't turn to watch his mother but he lightly nodded and said, "I'll mom…I will…"

He left the home while his mother finally broke into tears and his dad couldn't help but feel so much sadness.
