The big silence maintain between them until Rebecca finally asked him about the photo.

"Mr.Edwin, now tell me the truth…From when…"

"When did you know about my pregnancy? And why my ultrasound photo with you?"

"Rebecca…" He wanted to explain but Rebecca added ignoring his words, "Who are you truly Mr.Edwin? Just tell me the real truth." Her tone turned harsher.

Edwin never thought things going to come out like this. But now as there is no other option left he finally made up his mind to give her every question, reply.

"Rebecca…" His voice turned heavy as he felt something stuck on the tip of his mouth. He doesn't know where to start to explain to her.

Rebecca could see his resistance and this made her feel more and more scared deep inside her heart. She doesn't want to feel betrayed again. However, she knew on one side, that her hope can't change her destiny.

"Please tell me, what are you hiding?" She added at last while Edwin knew he needed to be careful with his words. But, without hurting her, telling the truth is just impossible for him.

"Rebecca, whatever I'm going to tell you. Please first listen to all my words. I promise I'll give you all the answers. But you need to relax first." Edwin only can hope for her to be calmed down because he cared about her health and her baby. The truth is shocking and he doesn't want her to get any type of trauma to hear about his identity.

On the other side, Edwin's words give her another level of anxiety. She can feel some big truth going on uncovered by him.

"Mr. Edwin, you can't hope for me to stay calm after getting my ultrasound photo with you. Now please speak out before I lose my calmness."

The person she falls in love with is the same person who is the reason for her misery. Her situation. Her pregnancy. And what hit her most was that he hides everything brilliantly from her and she dumb believe him with her heart. In the whole world, she falls in love with this selfish man who throws her out after using her, just like garbage. Without caring about her, her body, and her mental health. He is the main reason for her suffering and she falls for him, because of his false care.

Seeing her not speaking and standing for a long minute in shock. Edwin felt worried and tried to touch her shoulder.

"Rebecca…" Before his hand could touch her, she went backward and warned him in anger. "Stop right there, Edwin! Don't try to touch me with your filthy hand." Her eyes turned cold.

Edwin's eyelashes flickered and his hand twitched to hear her words and see her hate expression for him. But he couldn't blame her for speaking like that. He knew he made a huge mistake in his life to leave her and he can't forgive himself for that. But now, seeing her cold eyes, he felt hurt deep inside his heart.

And soon he tried to speak again, "Rebecca, I'm sorry. I truly wanted to apologize for my unfair behavior that night and the way I just left you the next morning."

"Are you?" Rebecca chuckled with sadness as her heart died at this moment.

Edwin stared at her eyes and felt her hurt vision. He couldn't speak more and just apologize again, " I'm sorry…"

Rebecca stared at him with a hurting gaze and said, "I don't want your fake 'sorry' Mr.Edwin. I just wanted to ask one question."

Hearing her, Edwin meets her eyes. While she asked out, "Why did you leave me the next morning?"

Edwin frowned deeply with worry because his answer would hurt her more but he had no choice but to speak at last, "Because I just guessed you are the same as other women who will forget about everything after getting big compensation from me." Because he truly did that to her.
