Chapter 112: Chapter 112
"Hello, Mr.Sam." Rebecca was a little taken back to see him calling her, not on working time.
"Hello, Rebecca, I just called you to inform you that you don't need to come to the office for two days."
Rebecca's face frowned and she asked.
"But why Mr.Sam? I didn't take any holiday?"
Sam felt silent for a moment and then responded, "Actually, in our company, there is a policy, if an employee goes for a business trip, related to the company work. They can get a few days' holiday in exchange after coming back. So, you can come after two days, until then I will manage your work."
Rebecca never thought there was a policy like that. But it does not matter right now. She also needed some alone time to think about Julia's words until then not seeing Edwin was the right choice. So, in the end, she didn't insist and just agreed to it.
"Alright, Mr.Sam."
"Good, then enjoy your rest."
"Sir, she agreed." Sam looked at his boss who was silently looking at the sky standing in front of the French window.
"Alright. You can go now." Without turning to him, he ordered.
Sam nodded and left his boss alone but he knew something big happened between Rebecca and Edwin when they were in the 'X' city.

"It's good. Now you can stay in the house and think carefully about your thoughts and my words." Julia's lips curled up in a small smile.
Rebecca just nodded and said," Julia, I feel tired. I want to go back and rest for now."
"Yeah, sure. But come out for dinner. You know, you are pregnant. You can have an empty stomach but not that little fellow." Julia looked at her with a serious gaze.
To which Rebecca responded in a weak tone," I know."
She looked down at her belly and something made her touch her abdomen.
Julia warmly smiles to see that. She knew Rebecca loved her child so much. Just like any other woman. But what makes her feel respect Rebecca, her bond with her unborn child. Even if it happened without her consent. She made a big decision to be a single mother and fight for her child and now even sacrifice her love for her baby.
It's not easy to do that. But she is doing and perfectly setting an example in front of her.
ONE DAY LATER
Rebecca stayed at home, without going anywhere, while Julia went to work like always.
When she comes back home in the evening, Rebecca is still in her room. She got a home key today, so she doesn't need to ring the bell.
After putting her purse on the couch, she went to Rebecca's door and knocked on it.
"Hey, are you there?" She asked softly and stood there.
Soon Rebecca opens the door and gives a small smile to her.
"When did you come?" She asked her.
To which Julia responded, "Just now."
"But what about you? How many more hours are you going to spend inside your room?"
Rebecca pressed her lips tightly.
"Ohh come on babe, I know you are hurt but could you please don't be upset like this? It's going to be not good for your baby?" Julia held her hand.
Rebecca looked at her and finally agreed to leave her room at least.
They both went to the couch.
"So, what is your decision?"
"Are you going to tell Edwin about your pregnancy or not?"
Rebecca's eyes look down to hear Julia.
Julia thought she was not going to answer her and immediately got up from the couch saying," I got it. You don't want to talk now."
Rebecca clenched her hands into a fist and stopped her instantly on her way.
"Wait, Julia!"
Julia turned to her.
Rebecca looked at her and responded," I'll tell him."
Julia felt taken back to hear her words and went towards her holding her hand in her.
"Are you sure? Babe?"
Rebecca just nodded with a small smile.
Julia couldn't help but smile wide and hugged her immediately between her arms.
"Ohh, Rebecca! I'm glad you made the right decision."

DINNER TIME
"So, are you truly sure? It's not like, you are pressuring yourself to do that?" Julia felt a little hesitant to ask it.
Rebecca, who is eating her meal in silence, stopped mid-way to hear her.
"Why do you think that?" She asked.
"I just don't want you to do anything which you are probably not ready to do," Julia explained her thoughts.
Rebecca shook her head lightly and answered," No. I'm doing this because this is the right thing to do. After talking to you Julia, I got a new direction for myself. And I think I need to take risks because I already made up my mind to resign from the job."
"What?" Julia was shocked.
"Yes, no matter how the thing works after I told him the truth. I can't work there anymore after my pregnancy news. So, I think I can do any other part-time job."
Julia understood and touched her hand," Don't worry, I'll help you to find a good job for you."
Rebecca gave a polite smile to Julia and thanked her," Thank you, Julia, for always supporting me."
Julia smiled back.
"And I want to say something more," Rebecca added.
"What is? Say then!" Julia replied.
"I'm sorry to ask you this but can you let me stay at your home for a few more months?"
Julia's face frowned and she angrily answered," No. You can't. You are already staying here for a long month now."
Rebecca bit her lower lips and apologized to her, giving an awkward smile," I'm sorry. I know, you already did so much. I should find a new place then."
Julia couldn't help but sighed to hear her apologizing but not being angry with her.
"Rebecca! Are you serious? What do you think? I'll tell you to find another place when you can stay here with me! Do you think, I'm a greedy person who will ask you to leave when I know your condition perfectly "
Rebecca understands her meaning and feels dumbest.
"I'm sorry Julia, to make you feel like that."
"It's alright, but don't say this thing again. You are my best friend and soul sister. You don't need to ask to stay here. This is also your home. Remember that. " Julia gave a small smile at the end.
Rebecca felt touched to see her finally smiling and hearing her words.
