"Driver, take the car towards the hotel," Edwin instructed the driver, as his meeting was finally over at 6:30 in the evening. Now, he needs to go and attend the party with Rebecca. He texts her already, about his departure. Now he just needs to go and change his suit to attend the party.

By the way, he agrees to attend this party, only for Rebecca.

He wanted to spend some more wonderful times with her and create more good memories between them. And this party is just an escape to do that.

He looked at his phone screen and admired his wallpaper which got Rebecca's photo.

"Sir, we are here!" The driver announced as soon as he stopped in front of the main iron door of a tall luxurious hotel.

Edwin shut the phone screen and looked at the tall building for a second before finally, he moved out of the car and ordered him to park the car in the car parking area.

When he entered the lift, his mind started to think about Rebecca. And only her thought was enough to make him smile.

After waiting for a few minutes, finally, his floor came, and with a ding sound, the lift's door opened.

He walks out of the lift and buttons up his suit button. Before moving to his room. He wanted to change his suit before finally meeting Rebecca for the party.

"It's time to meet her." He whispered through his breath and went to her door and knocked on it lightly.

He patiently waited for her to open the door. But when the door opened, he couldn't help but freeze in his place to see the most beautiful woman in front of him.

No matter how many times he looked at her dressing up, every single time, he felt blanked and stunned to see her beauty. When he thought this is enough of her beauty. She surprised him with a new look again. And today is no different.

On the other side, Rebecca felt a little blush to see his stunning eyes on her. She wore a long black dress with a round cut on her neck while her hand was covered with long black sleeves.

For her hair, she braided her long hair in French style and let some hair strands loose in front. While her makeup is natural, she used a brown tint on her lips with less fragrance.

Seeing him standing for a long moment, without any words, she couldn't help but break the silence first.

"Mr.Edwin, I'm ready." She hesitantly speaks out only to make him come back to reality.

However, He couldn't help but raise his corner lips and let out," Miss Rebecca, you look gorgeous in this dress."

Rebecca's heart fluttered to hear him and she thanked him, hiding her blushing face.

"We should go now." He asserted not to make the situation awkward for her.

On which Rebecca instantly nodded.

Both of them went to the party hall where there were already many people hanging out and talking to each other in groups.

Some businesspeople knew Edwin, so they came to talk to him. Rebecca always stayed beside him as he held her hand as soon as they entered the entrance.

Rebecca let him hold her hand. Because it also makes her feel safe and good.

"Hey, look here! Who is he?" Suddenly, hearing a familiar man's voice coming from behind, Edwin turned to see the person.

"James?" Edwin's lips curled up to see one of his good friends suddenly here.

On the other side, the person named James got a wide smile on his face and approached Edwin for a big hug the next moment.

"Hey, Buddy!" They both looked happy.

Rebecca got a small smile to see their reunion. Because she never saw Edwin this happy.

"Hey, so, how did you come here?" James asked first.

"I just came here for a business deal. And this is the hotel I'm staying at." Edwin explained to his friend.

James nodded with a smile.

"And what about you? When did you come back from abroad?" Edwin asked, as his friend is staying all the time abroad for his business and study.

"I just came back last year Edwin, you know a business thing. Dad gave me everything and now I need to handle all these business deals and stuff." James explained, and Edwin nodded.

But soon James' eyes went to Rebecca who was silently watching them. And he didn't miss Edwin holding her hand.

His eyes suddenly shine to realize something and he immediately said to Edwin, in a teasing tone," Hey, so finally, you got a girlfriend. The love of your life."

Hearing his words, Rebecca felt awkward while Edwin understood what he meant and he looked at Rebecca to introduce her to him. Without caring about her awkwardness.

"James, meet Rebecca. She also comes with me on business trips." He didn't mention her full identity.

James nodded and said hello to her.

"Hi, Rebecca. I must say, you are truly beautiful." He forwarded his hand while Rebecca lightly shook hands with him hesitantly.

"So, what about you? Do you come here alone?" Edwin inquired to his friend. On which James smiled and shook his head in denial.

"No, I got someone special with me."

Hearing her, Edwin smirked and asked," So, where's your someone spcial?"

"You will see, give me a moment." James excused himself and walked into the crowd.

Edwin and Rebecca again turned alone. And Rebecca, getting alone time, asked Edwin," Mr.Edwin, why didn't you clear my identity? What if they knew the truth? That I'm not your girlfriend?"

Edwin looked at her, and chuckled before giving her a response in a husky tone," But Rebecca, I didn't say that you are my girlfriend. He is the one who misunderstood that."

Rebecca felt stunned to hear his calm words and wanted to argue," But, Mr.Edwin, you can deny that."

Edwin's eyes turned deep and he immediately took steps towards her, Rebecca felt frozen to see him getting closer to her.

Edwin suddenly leaned his face to her face and got closer to her ears before whispering out, " What if I don't want to clarify?"

Rebecca blood rushed in the opposite direction to hear him and soon her stunning eyes looked at his serious but smiling face in front of her.

Rebecca felt dumbfounded in this sudden moment but soon broke to say something.

"Hey, here we are!"

Before Rebecca could complete her words, James came with a woman.

Rebecca moved a few steps backward to maintain a good distance with Edwin. While he was still in his place and just moved his eyes to see his friend with a beautiful woman.
