NEXT DAY

"Mr.Edwin, this is the last meeting you need to attend. After this, there is no more scheduled for today. It means we can go back to the city."

Hearing Rebecca, Edwin nodded without moving his eyes from the file.

He was busy looking through files one by one on his table. While Rebecca gives him information related to his schedule. They both were working in his room after attending a conference in the morning.

Rebecca looked at the watch and soon it was going to be noon. Seeing that, she told him to do his lunch and then start the work. Only then, did Edwin notice the time and immediately close the files, and went to the hotel restaurant with Rebecca. The hotel is marvelous and big enough like any royal mansion.

Edwin is one of their VIP guests. So, as soon as they got out of the hotel room, every staff member greeted them as soon as their eyes went on them.

After greeting his way, they finally went to the Restaurant entrance which was too huge and got a perfect royal touch to dine there.

"Good afternoon, Mr.Hutson!" The manager immediately stood in front of him and showed a big smile with a greeting.

Edwin nodded to him while Rebecca showed a polite smile in exchange.

"Do you need anything, Sir? Tell me, I'll arrange it right now." He politely asked Edwin.

Edwin looked at the tables and then at him with a calm expression. Before moving his lips, "I need a table with two chairs."

The manager nodded and replied," Alright, sir. We got you the best table with a great view to enjoy your lunch." Saying this, he made them follow him.

After passing a few tables, they got a French window-side table. From where they both could see the whole city.

Rebecca's eyes looking at the view with admiring eyes, Edwin saw her reaction and felt glad before he thanked Manager and asked him to send the waiter with the menu.

They both take their seats. While Rebecca forgot about Edwin's presence and started enjoying the view. She can't describe how beautiful the view is in front of her eyes. She never thought going on the trip would bring her so much relaxation even after doing non-stop meetings and work.

She was feeling too glad to come here and enjoy this marvelous view. She suddenly thought about Julia. How good it feels to have her beside her. She should be more happier than her, to come here.

When she was thinking about all this looking outside, Edwin's eyes silently staring at her and admiring her beauty with every praise.

His mind feels too relaxed to see her enjoying her lunch with him like this. How adorable it felt if their baby was also with them.

Will the baby look like him? Or her?

But does that matter? No.

Without noticing his gaze on her, all she was doing was smiling and looking outside with admiration all the time, until the waiter came to take their order.

He ordered some healthy dishes for both of them.

After eating a delicious meal with a nice view, when they were ready to go out. The manager comes back again.

"Hello, Sir"

"Hello Mam"

He greeted both of them.

For which Edwin and Rebecca nodded to him in response.

"Sorry to interpret you both. Actually, I'm coming here to invite you Sir with mam to our hotel party."

"Party?" Rebecca asked out. While Edwin also wanted to ask the same, so he waited for the manager's response to her words.

"Yes, Mam. There is going to be a festive celebration in the hotel and all the guests who are staying in our hotel, are invited to join us and celebrate this party. So, I hope as our VIP client, Mr.Edwin Sir, also comes with you and joins this celebration. Please, it's our request." The manager explained and at last requested it.

Rebecca glances at Edwin. Because she is just an employee. It's not in her hand. And his schedule is busy. She doesn't think. He will agree to attend the party.

On the other side, Edwin takes only a moment for thinking and finally nods in agreement to join them.

"Alright, we will be there." He calmly announced.

The manager felt very pleased and thanked him before going back to his place.

Rebecca feels surprised to hear his reply and finally breaks the silence by asking," Mr.Edwin"

Edwin looked at her. While she continued.

"Mr. Edwin, you need to attend the meeting a few hours later before evening and our flight is early morning. Do you think you can attend the party?" She is just thinking about his health.

Edwin could sense her concern and gently clarified," It's alright. I'll manage everything. It's not the first time I'm doing that and by the way, the flight is the next day. So, it's not an issue for me."

Rebecca nodded in understanding his words. His words are true, as a businessman, he should always stay on a busy schedule. So, making time is an easy thing for him to do.

"Let's go now." He asserted and both of them went to their room.

But before Rebecca could enter her room. Edwin stopped her and asked her to stay in the hotel. She doesn't need to go anywhere. And he can go and attend the last meeting by himself.

Rebecca tried to argue with him but Edwin silenced her with a bossy expression and asked her to follow his order. Rebecca's lips sealed to his words.

Edwin told her that now he will come at the party time, so she should be getting ready on time. For which at last Rebecca agrees with him.

After getting inside her room, she looked through her clothes, as she needed to attend the party suddenly. She doesn't think she brought any dress with her. And this made her tense.

With a nervous mind, she called Julia and explained her situation. But what she's not prepared to hear is Julia's next words.

"I know, there can be emergencies like this, that's why I already packed one party gown in your trolley bag. Just check the last zip."

"Are you truly packing that?" Rebecca's voice turned a little shocked.

"Yes, dear! Now go and check." Julia chuckled on the other side.

Rebecca immediately rushed to open the last zip and she saw the long gown with a simple design in black. Her lips curled up immediately and she immediately attached the phone to her ears and thanked her.

"Thank you, Julia."

"It's a big help."

Hearing her friend, Julia couldn't help but smile happily.

"Good then. I know you will kill out the party with your gorgeous look." Julia's words made her laugh and soon Julia joined her and they both talk some more minutes before finally dismissing the call.
