"Hello, Edwin." The woman smiled at him.

Edwin's brows arched to see she was one of their friend's groups.

"Lisa?"

James smiled showing his bright teeth and wrapped his hand around Lisa's waist to introduce her to Edwin.

"Edwin, meet my wife and my unborn baby's mother, Lisa"

Only then did Edwin notice her baby bump. Rebecca already saw her and felt the woman was lucky to get love and baby together.

"When did you both get married?" Edwin asked.

James looked at Lisa and then at Edwin.

"Actually, we married a few months ago, as soon as we got the news, she is pregnant."

Edwin understood and nodded with a small smile, "Congratulate both of you."

James and Lisa thanked him.

And James introduced Rebecca to her wife," Wifey, meet Rebecca, Edwin's girlfriend."

Lisa looked at Rebecca and greeted her," Hello, Rebecca, nice to meet you. You are truly beautiful as my husband mentioned." She smiled brightly at last.

Rebecca could feel the woman is gentle and sweet, so she smiled back and told her that she was also.

Both of them get well together. While Edwin and James talk about the old days.

"Hey, let's dance. Everyone is already dancing." James looked at his wife and then Edwin and Rebecca.

"I'm in" Lisa first replied.

"What about you two?" James asked.

But Rebecca immediately responded before Edwin," I don't feel like dancing for now."

Edwin wanted to dance but hearing her, he won't want to force her.

However, James and Lisa persuade both of them to dance until Rebecca agrees.

And At last, all of them went to the dance stage.

Edwin slowly started dancing with Rebecca. Whenever between danced he got closer to her. Her face virtually blushed as she felt her heartbeat turn faster. With all these emotions, her eyes couldn't help but pull together to meet his. Where he looked at her with the same emotion and affection.

"Why do you refuse to dance?" Edwin moved her back to his front and crowded her hand together with his. Started moving with the music slowly.

Rebecca bit her lower lips as she felt too much emotion at this moment and replied," Because, I can't dance. You know…"

Edwin smirked and turned her in front of his side and looked into her eyes with a loving gaze.

"But you did great, at my house party. Are you sure this is the reason?"

Rebecca blinked her eyes as her cheeks heated up to guess what he meant.

Soon the light turned darker and only dim light represented the whole hall to make the night more beautiful and romantic for couples.

Edwin started to dance flawlessly with her while she joined him, forgetting her own boundaries.

They both started to move beautifully in dance when suddenly, Edwin pulled her closer and let himself flow with emotion, and kissed her lips without caring anyone's eyes on them. Rebecca didn't pull back but got frozen there for a moment before she finally pushed him and looked at him with red eyes.

Edwin felt numb to see his reaction.

"Rebecca…"

Her tears fell out which she immediately wiped out and walked out of the hall.

Edwin stood there, seeing her go far from him.

"What the hell! What have I done?" He whispered through his breath feeling angry at himself.

James and Lisa watched Rebecca walkout. And immediately rushed to ask Edwin what happened to her.

"Edwin!" He touched his shoulder.

Edwin looked at him. While James asked.

"What happened to Rebecca? Why did she suddenly leave?"

Hearing him, he had no words to explain but at last, he answered," We just fight."

"Then you should go behind her and patch up with her," Lisa explained to him.

Edwin looked at Rebecca's figure going towards the main door and immediately nodded to them before walking faster towards Rebecca.

"I hope they forgive the fight and patch up." Lisa suddenly whispered while sighing.

James wrapped his arms around her shoulder and said," They will. Don't worry. I never saw Edwin this serious for any girl. He truly loves her and I can see Rebecca also has the same eyes for him. They are soul mates. They will run to each other."

Lisa nodded to his words and finally smiled.

Edwin runs toward her, shouting her name between his heavy breaths.

But Rebecca didn't stop at all and walked outside in the garden with no one going on.

Her tears come out nonstop which she's trying to wipe out every time. She doesn't know how to feel his sudden kiss, but she knows there is no future for them together. His every gentle act, hurt her every time to feel her butter reality. She's pregnant. It's big enough news to make anyone feel that she's slut or bitch, who slept with anyone.

Edwin is not different from them after knowing her truth. The perfect man likes him, never going to be with her (the imperfect one). The eyes which are looking at her with admiration today, it's going to be filled with despise for her. As soon as he knew the truth. And this is the last thing she wants her to see.

Yes, she loved him but she never dreamed to be together with him, when their situation is too odd and different. Their worlds are just opposite of each other. And her pregnancy, how could she hope Edwin will accept her with someone else's child.

This thought made her scared and also blocked her heart to let herself feel this love.

Her heart shattered into pieces to think all these cruel and unusual thoughts. But soon it's going to be a reality. Her reality where she needs to live alone with her child. She doesn't have hope for love.

She cried many times before because of family, but today she's feeling helpless for love also. And this made her feel that her breathing is also hurting her. She can't adjust her mind properly to think about anything anymore. All she's thinking is to go far from him for now, not to affect her heart. Because she can't take this gentleness and love from him. It's hurting her badly and making her dreams about unending pain.
