The driver is already waiting for their arrival outside the company. As Edwin informed him that they were going back to the hotel and got the car in front of the company from the car parking in advance.

So, when Edwin and Rebecca showed up, the driver was already there with the car and immediately rushed to open the door for both of them.

After making Rebecca get in the car, Edwin takes his seat beside her.

The driver went to his seat and started the engine.

However, as soon as the car started, Rebecca suddenly heard her tummy growl which made her feel surprised and touched her belly in embarrassment before peeking at Edwin from the corner eyes if he heard that or not But seeing him busy looking outside the car view. She felt great relief. Because, if any way, he notices that, it's only going to make her feel embarrassed in front of him. And she doesn't know how he would react to that.

Moreover, now she needs to eat as soon as possible, getting back to the hotel. Because if she is hungry, it means her baby is hungry.

When she was in deep thought about all these things, Edwin looked at her with a corner eye and smiled which couldn't be seen by her.

The growling sound was heard by Edwin but in the first go but he didn't show any reaction. Because he didn't want to make her embarrassed by any chance.

And he could see how relieved she got when he did that acting. But now he needs to fill up her tummy and his baby. As he knew, they both were hungry.

So, after staying silent for a half ride, he finally opened his mouth to call her name.

"Miss Rebecca."

Hearing him, she instantly turned her head to look at him.

"Yes, Mr.Edwin." She waited for him to hear his words.

Edwin calmly looked at her and said," Miss Rebecca, Let's eat something from a nearby restaurant before going back to the hotel. I think I'm hungry" He made up a lie.

Hearing him, Rebecca thinks about her child and shortly nods.

"As you say, Mr.Edwin." She politely answered.

Edwin nodded to her and asked the driver to turn the car in near the restaurant direction.

The driver did that immediately and changed the way.

After eating dinner in the restaurant, Edwin and Rebecca went back to the hotel and bid good night to each other.

"So, How was your day? Tell me all the details!" Julia's voice filled with excitement, as she was getting ready to hear about Rebecca's first day in a new city.

Hearing her, Rebecca couldn't help but chuckle on the phone and said with a mockery tone, "Julia, what do you think, I'm doing here on a business trip?" She just wanted to tell her, they are here for a business meeting and this is all she can do here.

However, Julia ignored her response and said," Don't be a boring woman, at least tell me, what happens after you wear your new dress?" Her voice filled with an eagerness.

Rebecca couldn't understand her words and asked," What do you mean? I can't understand?"

Julia sighed on the other side of the phone which could be heard by Rebecca also, soon only to make her brows arched and asked another question," Why are you sighing?"

Julia felt talking with her dumb friend need her so much energy. But as it's Rebecca, she is just ready to waste it.

"Damn! Rebecca! I just want to inquire, what was Mr.Edwin's first reaction to seeing you in that dress? Is he surprised?"

Rebecca's eyes flickered to finally realized her words' meaning and she abruptly remembered his expression and those beautiful eyes, which never left her. Suddenly, this feeling made her cheeks flush and turned reddish.

"Hey, answer me." Julia's voice turned impatience, not to hear her answers.

While Rebecca came back to her senses and shortly responded to her next moment, "Julia, you are just thinking too much. There is nothing to react to Mr.Edwin. He just looked at me normally the way he looked at every time."

Rebecca thought her words made Julia would sigh again but No, she chuckled this time only to make her face frown with confusion. However soon she got her smile to answer when the next moment Julia asked her teasingly," How? Sweetly? Admiringly? Or full of love? What is the right option for his stares?"

Rebecca felt dumbfounded to hear her words and faking yelled at her," Julia. Stop talking nonsense."

Hearing her, Julia couldn't help but laugh at her and said, "Babes, I'm not talking nonsense. This is what I see in his eyes for you. Trust me. And I know, you also sensed that."

Rebecca felt silent. Because she knew Julia was saying the fact. She also feels that. But can she accept that feeling? No. She's not in the right place to hold that.

Hearing nothing from her friend for a long minute, Julia breaks the silence from the other side," Hey, I'm just teasing, don't be serious."

Rebecca responded instantly, hiding her thought," Yeah, I know."

While she bit her lower lip and her hand clenched on the bed sheet.

Julia could sense her low voice and couldn't help but said more."Rebecca, I truly think, he liked you. Why don't you.."

"I understand what you are trying to say, Julia. But I don't want to dream about anything which is not going to come true in any way."

Hearing her words, Julia felt sad. This is the only sentence Rebecca tells her whenever she talks about Edwin.

Being a single mother is not a simple thing. She can understand, And explaining their struggle to anyone is not easy.

No man is easily ready to accept any pregnant woman. But she feels Edwin's feeling for Rebecca is generous. And her heart says that he is the person who can make her friend smile and believe in love.
