After making sure that Xiao Hui's homework was all correct, Yun Xi headed towards the kitchen. Butler Li had prepared all the ingredients needed. Yun Xi was once again thankful towards him. He always treated her with respect and followed whatever she requested.

She found out that someone had already cut the vegetables and meats. Now, she only needed to cook. Her hands just reached the apron when it was grabbed by someone else. She raised her head just to find Mo Shan

standing there. The apron she was trying to get was now in his hand.

She raised her eyebrows at him as if asking what he was doing. Instead of replying, Mo Shan lifted Yun Xi’s arms and directly slipped the sleeves of the apron onto her. Then, he turned her around and tied the lace of an apron on her waist. Yun Xi’s heart was pounding at his actions. He was doing it so slowly and sensually that Yun Xi’s face turned red. How could he make this simple task so sensual? And when did they reach the stage where they didn’t need to communicate and could understand each other just through expressions. Yun Xi became even flustered thinking all these.

After the knot was done, Yun Xi tried to step away from him. But before she could take a step, Mo Shan wound his arms around her waist. Now he was hugging her from the back with his chin tucked on Yun Xi’s shoulder. Yun Xi felt her heart stop for a moment there. She even thought if he was doing that intentionally to make her flustered. But, she couldn’t deny the fact that his plan was working on her.

Just then, she felt his warm breath on the crook of her neck. She hastily tried to walk away, but she felt his warm lips on her neck before she could do that. Yun Xi completely stilled there at that moment. She was reminded of their kiss earlier in the car. She started feeling very hot and nervous.

Mo Shan smiled looking at her reactions. He then moved from her neck to her ear and started nibbling on it. He felt her tremble when he nibbled on her ears. “Oh? So, this is her sensitive part”, he thought enjoying her reaction to his touches and kisses.

When Yun Xi felt him nibble her ears, her mind blanked out, and she automatically closed her eyes. She was feeling something that she could not describe in words. She was lost in his touches and kisses. Just when she also started enjoying, Mo Shan suddenly stepped away from her.

Yun Xi was disappointed and turned to ask why she stopped. She was about to speak when she saw Xiao Hui entering the kitchen. She finally understood why Mo Shan released her. But, how did she not hear Xiao Hui’s footsteps? Was she lost in her excitement to the extent of not caring about her surroundings? Her face boiled at that thought.

Mo Shan was also feeling disappointed. Such a good chance was spoiled by his son. But he could not do anything about it except for sighing in discontentment.

Xiao Hui’s sweet voice sounded in between their thoughts, “Mommy, let Xiao Hui help you in cooking.”

Yun Xi’s discontentment went to drain when she heard Xiao’s sweet words. She carried him and sat him on the kitchen counter. “Your grandpa Li has already assigned someone to clean and cut the ingredients, so you don’t have to do anything today. Just sit here and accompany mommy. I will make your sweet and sour pork. Don’t move and be careful.”

Xiao Hui nodded obediently at his mother’s words while Mo Shan was sighing on the side. As soon as his son appeared, his wife completely forgot about him. He wasn’t even surprised as that was not the first time it happened.

Yun Xi finally started cooking with the father-son duo accompanying. The family of three looked so warm and harmonious.

Outside, Father Mo and Mother Mo were watching them. Father Mo spoke, “Saw that? How can our son have a bad taste in women? This girl is nice. You were worried for nothing.”

Mother Mo fell into silence listening to her husband’s words. Father Mo knew that her silence was a sign of approval. He could feel his wife’s eyes turn gentle as she watched them.

Mother Mo could also guess her husband’s thoughts. But, she was not afraid to admit that she was happy seeing her children happy. It was the first time she saw her son acting like that after his brother’s untimely demise. She could finally feel warmth oozing out of him after so many years. And, she could also see that Yun Xi was not acting, but was nice. If this girl could provide happiness to her children, then she would gladly accept her as her daughter-in-law.

The husband-wife duo continued staring at their children’s warm interactions. After a while, Father Mo heard his wife speak, “This is not going to be easy for her, Xinsheng. She is going to face so many obstacles to be called worthy of Mo Family. When I married into this family, it was relatively easy for me because Mo Family was not on the top family at that time. At that time, Mo family’s business was just starting to rise, so our marriage was not a big deal.”

She continued after a while, “But now, everything has changed. Our family is on top of the pyramid now. Many families are eying us, and many are scheming against us. With so many hurdles, this is going to be difficult for her. Moreover, you know how high society circles and how our clan members are. They would not deem Yun Xi worthy of our family. I am afraid she will have to sacrifice so much just to be called worthy as Mo family’s daughter-in-law.”

Father Mo also fell into silence for a while. He knew whatever his wife said was true. If Yun Xi was strong enough, then only would she be able to overcome all the obstacles. Otherwise, she would be dumped under the so-called high society and high-class mannerisms.

Father Mo pulled his wife in his arms and said, “Don’t worry too much about it. Yun Xi has us behind her. You can teach her and guide her in every step. And I know with my wife’s guidance, she will definitely succeed.”

His words brought a warm smile to Mother Mo’s tense face. Even though she was not satisfied with Yun Xi at first, she would never let others ridicule Mo family and her son’s choice. So, she would guide the girl by herself. She swore to never let her daughter-in-law fall in her steps.

“Come on, now. How long are you going to stare at them? Since we returned, you only have your children in your eyes. Where is my place then? I want my wife to give more attention to me.” Father Mo commented childishly while pulling Mother Mo towards their room.

Mother Mo glared at him for acting so childishly but couldn’t do anything about it. While they passed by the hall, she saw Mo Sheng snickering while gazing at them. Even Old Master Mo was there. Mother Mo’s face turned red when she felt their gazes on her.

Mo Sheng was already used to his father being all touchy towards his mother. His father just could not live without his wife by his side. He snickered loudly just to let his father hear it.

As he wished, Father Mo did hear him, but Mo Sheng did not take his father to be so shameless that not only he ignored him, he also turned and mouthed, “Single dog!”

Although Father Mo just mouthed the words and didn’t say them loudly, Mo Sheng understood what he was saying. He felt a tinge of pain in his heart when he heard his father labeling him as a single dog.’ How can he call his own son like that?

Father Mo ignored his son’s reaction as he knew that his son was just pretending to feel hurt. Hmph, at the end of the day, I am still your father. Do you think you can fool me?

He took his wife directly to their rooms and closed-door from inside. Mother Mo nervously asked, “What are you doing? Why did you close the door?”

Father Mo didn’t speak and just carried her directly to the bed.

“Y.. you, what are you doing? It’s still broad daylight”, Mother Mo stuttered backing away from her husband.

Mo Xin Sheng sighed exasperatedly, “What are you even thinking? I just wanted to give you some head massage because you haven’t rest a bit since we came back. Come here, let me give you a massage.”

Mother Mo relaxed when he heard him and shifted closer to him. Father Mo helped her lie by putting her head in his lap and began massaging gently.
