I was done signing, reading the contracts and other proposals. Sabrina already rescheduled the proposal she postponed.

I rise up from the chair and grabbed my car keys.

I didn't fucking know why I wanted to go home early. I am just going to apologize.

‘It is not just. You should be sincere” my brain interrupts and I nodded

I told Sabrina the day is dismissed for work, meaning she can go home early.

Driving along with the busy New York City. I saw a flower shop. I parked and got out of the car.

"What flower is best saying sorry?" I asked the girl. She pointed to the tulip flowers.

I bought the Tulips according to the girl. This flower shows forgiveness, peace, and new beginnings.

I needed to apologize to Aria for what I did to her; her ways are really different to me.

My sister was right again.

I parked the car and Tom opened the door for me. I picked up the flowers.

"Welcome home, Sir Lucas." He greeted with honor.

I nodded

“Order Ana to bring these flowers to my office and make sure that Aria will not see this," I said firmly, giving the flowers to him.

He looked at me curiously. I just shrugged.

The other maid opened the door for me. I saw Aria looking at me with a sweet smile on her face and Luke in her arms.

She stood up and walked up to me.

"You are back," She said, hugging me.

I hugged her back and slightly kissed her on top of her head, sending electricity throughout my body.

"Yeah," I said shortly. She pulled out and I kissed Luke's temple, making him giggled.

"Daddy miss," Luke said in a cute voice. I held his little hand and rubbed it with my thumb.

"Daddy misses you too," I said softly, looking into his blue eyes like mine. Luke was straightening his arms to me.

I picked him up from her mommy. Aria removed my tie and opened the two buttons of my sleeves.

Just how I like it.

"Let's eat, the food is waiting," she said softly and I nodded. Luke wrapped his small arms around my neck.

After eating Aria's delicious cooked food. She washed the plate but I ask her not to do so. We have maids here no need for her to do that but being stubborn she insists. Luke and I played for a little bit and we headed to our bedroom. I took a shower and Aria prepared my clothes to wear.

"You are not going to sleep?" She whispered. She was beside Luke and Luke is already falling asleep.

I could say that I like her. Everything she has and everything can do are very different.

I didn't reply and walked to the door. I heard her sighed.

"Ok," She said sadly, disappointment evident in her voice. I got out to the door and headed to my office.

After getting the flowers that I bought for her. I came back to the bedroom silently.

She was still lying on the bed with her eyes closed. I walked over to the bed.

"Aria?" I whispered.

"Mmm..." She hummed in response with her eyes closed.

"Open your eyes," I ordered softly.

She opened her eyes and looked at me. I smiled slightly and gave her the flowers.

She hesitantly took it and looked at me speechless.

She took a sit. I could see she was asking herself if this is a dream. I chuckled mentally.

"I..uh...What's the event? I mean why are you giving me flowers?" She asked softly.

I took a sit on the side of the bed.

"Sorry for what I did. I hurt you physically. I broke my promise to Luke. I said hurtful words again." I said softly in regret.

"No need to buy me flowers. Not that I don't want it. Sorry is enough for me Lucas." She said.

I nodded.

I am falling for her. I admit.

"Just not to do it again. It hurts me a lot even for Luke. " She said in whispered. I scooted closer to her.

I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I am so sorry Aria. Are you ok now?" I brushed her hair in my hands.

I felt she nodded. "I am here to help you." She pulled out and lay again on the bed.

"Thank you, Aria for understanding me."

"Thank you for the flowers. It's so beautiful."

"You are more beautiful." I could see her cheeks turning red.

She is really beautiful even though she didn't have makeup on.

She laughed and said, "Thank you."

"Give your son a goodnight kiss so you can sleep. You are tired." I nodded

I walked to my baby Luke and kissed his forehead by saying I love him so much.

I lay down on to bed staring at the ceiling. Aria wrapped her arms around my stomach.

She is really caring and very understanding; her beauty is inside and out. She even asks me not to buy flowers, saying sorry is enough for her.

Remembering Chloe she isn't like that. She only cares about what are the newest fashions. Brand new phones. New lingerie from Victoria secret. What irritating about it? She needed to buy it that day that she found out. She will ask for my card or she will call Sabrina to put money on her card.

I never talk to her from the day we got divorced. She never deserves Luke and me.

Darkness consumed me.
