Aria

My phone rings and I hurriedly answered it because the caller was Leticia.

"Hello, Leticia" I sang happily. I still remembered Lucas gave me flowers, making me blush. I was still surprised he did that just for saying sorry.

"Whoa, Aria. I could sense happiness in you. Why?" She asked mischievously.

I chuckled and said," nothing."

"Nothing. Eh? Why don't I believe it?" She asked curiously, there's no way I can't hide it from her anymore.

I released a breath "Uh... Lucas gave me flowers yesterday." I whispered, feeling shy.

I heard her laughed. "That's good to hear. I am happy for you guys." She said, cheering over the phone.

"Thanks, how are you? Why did you call?" I asked. This was the first time she called me after I got married to Lucas.

"We are fine. I should be asking you that but the way you answer the phone it seems you are okay." She explained.

She is definitely right.

"Yeah, we are as of now," I said.

"I'll go pick you up later after lunch."

"Why?" I asked, I was planning to go to Lucas's office to bring him some of his lunch with Luke of course.

"We need to prepare for Luke's birthday. Duh." She said in an annoyed tone.

I laughed. I can't forget my son's birthday. I know that his birthday.

"I know also I am just going to bring some lunch for Lucas at his office."

"Oh, I can't believe he is letting you. It's good to hear." She said surprised.

"This is the first time actually but I asked him first if we can go there. He said yes so I'll try." I explained.

"Yeah, yeah, then I'll pick you and Luke in his office."

"Ok then, bring Lily too." She chuckled and hanged up the phone. Time flies so fast. I am going to make Luke's birthday memorable. I am going o make sure Lucas is there.

I was so happy Leticia is going to be there to help and guide me.

I hope Lucas gives me at least a little money. I do have money but it will never cost a good cake for Luke.

I packed his lunch in the lunchbox. Luke is ready already.

Tom informed me that the car is ready. We stopped at Lucas's office.

Entering the elevator while Luke was holding my hand. He is already walking but I need to hold him in a place like this.

Lucas's lunch is with Rosaline.

"Daddy." He said and jumping up and down again and again. I laughed at him. He knows that this is his daddy's office.

"Yes baby, you will see daddy."

I saw Sabrina and she nodded at me. I headed to Lucas's door. Rosaline waited at her usual spot and gave Lucas lunch to me.

I picked up Luke in my arms and he clapped his small hands excitedly.

I knocked and he said to come in. I entered and he looked at me shocked. I think Sabrina didn't inform him.

"Daddy!" Luke squealed and wiggled from my arms. I let him walk to the ground. He ran to his dad. Lucas's face softens.

"My baby. Daddy misses you so much." He said when Luke reached him. He kissed his forehead and cheeks.

He really looks handsome. He picked up Luke in his arms and walked over to me. I took a sit.

"Did you eat already?" I asked and he shook his head no.

I smiled at him. Good to know.

"Come here and take a sit beside me," I said, tapping the free space on the couch.

He took a sit beside me. I opened the lunch box and gave him the utensils.

"Give me Luke first so you can eat comfortably," I said lowly.

"Thank you for the food. Did you eat?" He asked while eating.

"Yeah, the same as yours." He nodded.

"Luke's birthday is already near and Leticia will pick us up here " I started.

"Yeah, sure." He said.

I don't know how will I ask him to give me a little bit of money just to shop for Luke a little bit.

I gathered myself up, took a deep breath, and said, "Do you mind if you can give me a little amount? Honestly, I don't have money for buying Luke's needs"

He didn't utter a work and reached for his wallet, getting a card.

"Here, spend all Luke's need there. I could see what did you buy there so don't try to do anything," He warned, giving me the card like I will buy lingerie here or channel bags here. I don't need his money.

"As you wish." I make myself smile even though I felt hurt and disappointed. He doesn’t trust me… making me feel gold digger again.

His intercom beeps and Sabrina's voice came out, saying Leticia is waiting at the parking.

"Please have your day off or clear your schedule at your son's birthday," I said, standing up.

He just looked at me with no reply. I sighed. He is really a jerk.

"Please come, just do it for Luke." I barely whispered, pleading at him.

He kissed goodbye to Luke.

"Daddy loves you, baby. Be a good boy to your mommy. Thank you for visiting me here." He said and Luke giggled at him.

"Thanks for bringing food and visiting me. I'll think about it." He said calmly.

I nodded at him and we headed straight to the parking lot with Rosaline.

"At last, my two favorite people are here," Leticia said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Hello, Leticia." I greeted, hugging her and she kissed my cheeks and Luke of course.

She told me that she would be the one to send us home so I told Tom to go home. She has a big van as I could say.

"Let's go mommy Aria," Leticia said, getting in the car.

"Let's go mommy Let." I mimicked her.

We laughed. Lily was here also and greeted me with a bear hug.

She told me what happened to Luke's 1st birthday and I definitely need to change that.

She told me the last theme she used so I told her that the transformer would be the theme. I remembered Luke likes transformers.
