Serena's furiously writing on her notebook, jotting down all the information she gathered so far, and trying to connect the dots.
She wasn't able to go on with her original plan on breaking off her engagement to Walter Hayes, as what Elizabeth Montecarlo requested her to do because she's still shocked after knowing that she's pregnant. Technically, Elizabeth's the one who's pregnant with Walter's child.
Serena's trying her damn best to remember some of the important things on Elizabeth's autobiographical book she read before. Based on what's written on the book, Elizabeth Montecarlo didn't divulge any information about her lovelife. The book mainly focused on her growing up years, her theater career, her early retirement from theater and her life in Paris as a single mother to her only son, Grant. She didn't reveal any information about Grant Montecarlo's father.
And now, the secret has been revealed.
Walter Hayes is the father of Elizabeth's child.
The question is---if Elizabeth is pregnant with Walter's baby, why did she want to break off her engagement with him? And why did she chose a life of being a single mother?
Was it really because of her guilt of having an illicit relationship with Liam Hamilton?
Or are there other reasons?
If she proceeds on marrying Walter as Elizabeth, then she won't end up as a single mother, and the child will be legitimate. However, she will be forever stuck in 1945 and she won't be able to go back to the present time.
If she follows Elizabeth's advice, she can go back to 2019, live a normal life and see Gale again.
Her mind and her heart are constantly bickering at each other. Her mind says she needs to marry Walter and so she can give the child a complete family, but her heart is telling her to follow Elizabeth's order so that she can go back to Gale...
"So, what now, Elizabeth?" she called out ,while staring at the mirror.

Serena finally made her decision. She thought long and hard about the consequences of her final decision, and it was really difficult for her.
She thought that her final decision would benefit everyone around her.
Serena's now making her way to Walter Hayes' office, which is situated inside a hotel. She thought that it will be difficult for her to have see him but surprisingly, all the staff graciously welcomed her. They warmly welcomed her, smiled at her, and congratulated her for their upcoming wedding...
And Elizabeth Montecarlo decided to give up all the wealth, power, and prestige that Walter has to offer because she doesn't really love him, and she thinks it's the right thing to do.
Serena's now waiting infront of Walter's office. After waiting for a few minutes, the door opened, and Walter welcomed her with open arms.
"Darling, what a pleasant surprised! What brings you here? Did you and the baby miss me?" he fondly greeted her. He was about to kiss her on the lips but she moved her face a bit and his lips landed on her right cheek.
