Chapter 14: Chapter 14

"I'm really am sorry for dragging you into this, Liam. And thank you for loving me."

Liam's looked so tortured and in pain while he's looking at her. Serena's flooded with guilt, and she can almost really feel Elizabeth Montecarlo's emotions.

"I don't know if I'll be able to love again." Liam suddenly said.

Serena gave him a small smile.

"I'm sure you'll love someone better than me... If you'll just look around, someone will love you unconditionally." she said,giving him a knowing look.

Liam curiously frowned, but he didn't say anything.

"This is a goodbye, Liam. I wish you all the best." she finally bid the man goodbye.

Serena breathe out a sigh of relief once she walked out from the door. She's also relieved because Liam didn't run after her. It only means that he's finally letting go as well.

And eventhough she's not the real Elizabeth Montecarlo, she can still feel everyone's raw emotions. It may sound strange, but she can also feel Elizabeth's overwhelming emotions. There's pain,regret,and the feeling of loneliness.

And she's pretty sure she would feel the same once she ends everything with Liam...

"How did it go?"

Serena's talking with Katherine over the phone, because she promised her that she would tell her everything about what  happened the day she said goodbye to Liam.

"Liam was able to accept my decision. We didn't have any heated argument and we didn't cry... We had a very peaceful separation." she relayed.

"I know it must've been difficult on you, but I'm so proud of what you did, Lizzie. You did well." Katherine was getting emotional on the other line.

"And thank you for giving me the push, Kathy. I wouldn't be able to do this without you." Serena said.

"What's your next plan now?"

"I'll talk to Walter next." Serena answered, while yawning.

"You've been yawning a lot, Lizzie. You must've been really tired. Well, I won't take much of your time anymore. Time for you to hit the sack." Katherine suggested.

"I don't know why,but I've been feeling so tired and sleepy for the passed few days. Maybe I should take a break from theater and take a long rest,then I can make my comeback to the stage."

"Yes, I think you should. There, you're yawning again. Go to bed now,Lizzie... Goodnight."

"Alright. Goodnight, Kathy."

Once the call ended, Serena groggily stood up, and walked to go to her bedroom. She doesn't have any idea on why she felt so exhausted and sleepy.

She's thinking that maybe she's been mentally, emotionally and physically tired with everything that happened to her.

She's hoping, wishing and praying that she'll be able to complete her mission so that she can go back to her normal life.

But for now, she doesn't want to think about anything else. She wants to have a deep sleep, and she will think about her next plan tomorrow...

As soon as her back touched her soft bed, she drifted into a deep sleep...
