An adult couple rush into the hospital as if it's the end of the world, they pause at the reception, introducing themselves.
"I'm Mrs Allen, I received a call telling me my daughter had a car accident and she was brought here." the woman nervously inquires barely breathing properly with her eyes crammed with tears. Her husband standing behind her cuddles her hair to comfort her.
"Yes, we received a young girl early this morning." the receptionist turn around calling for help and a woman in white dress approach.
The receptionist turns back to the worried couple "This nurse will take you to the young girl's ward." she assigns the nurse who immediately lead the couple.
• • Adams POV • •
"What's your name?" I ask the young girl. "Lily Allen," she retorts boldly. Indeed she's bold and she looks smart as well. "What's your age?" I ask again.
"Why all these questions?" she seriously frowns and this makes me feel awful, so awful that she can detect it from my face.
"Relax!" suddenly she smiles. I guess she was just pulling my legs "I've told you my name but I don't know yours." she adds with a grin on the face. She's right though.
"My girl!" a woman barges in screaming before I can offer a word. From the way she hugs the little girl it's clear that she is her mother, while the man simply stands by the woman, grabbing the young girls hands.
"What happened?. How are you feeling?." the woman asks with tears helplessly flows down her eyes. I feel culpable. "Relax mum, I'm find." the young girl smiles at her mum. "You are not find Lily, you are in a hospital bed and this freaks me out." she bites her trembling lips in some of the tears
"Mum, stop crying, I don't like it." "Okay, okay, I won't cry. I'm wiping my tears." she wipes her tears battling with herself. "Can you tell us what happened?" she asks a series of questions without noticing my presence in the room.
I remain standing at the corner of the room observing. I realise how much I've missed since the death of my mother and this makes me furious at life as a whole, most especially furious at my selfish father who deprived me of the privilege of motherly love.
"And who are you?" the man turns towards me asking brutally snatching me out of my thoughts. I remain quiet, searching for the right words to inform him that I'm the man who nearly killed his daughter due to my imprudence.
"Dad, he's the man who..." the man was already standing in front of me before his daughter could finish her sentence. "So you are the man who nearly kill my daughter?" he anticipates his daughter's words, fastening my tie tightly that it painfully squeezes my neck he pulls me to the wall and I can barely breathe.
"Dad, he has been very kind to me" the young girl tries to move out of bed to help, unfortunately she has lots of trenches on her and all this plus the fierce pains halt her.
"You should calm down, you need to rest." her mum helps her to lay well. Then she swivels to their direction "Please, honey, don't, do any thing stupid it won't make the situation better." she says.
"But he nearly killed our girl!, - What the hell are you still doing here, aren't you supposed to be in jail?" he jerks me out of the room with him and I just let him do. He doesn't know who I am.
"James, stop it, it wont help." his wife follow us out, she holds his shoulders just when he's about giving me a blow. "Hmm..." he groans like a furious dog, then he lowers his fist reluctantly.
"Get out of here and never come back." he hits me on the chest as he releases my coat and she takes him back in with her.
"Shit!" I exclaim while fixing my dress. I don't react because I understand his pains. However, if we were in my world he won't have dared this nonsense he just did no matter the circumstances.
"This is why I always limit my days in this weird world." I walk out of the hospital with bold steps, elegantly and unaffected.
"You need to call down. What is important here is that our daughter is alife, the police will take care of the rest." the woman tells her husband before they enter their daughter's ward.
"Where is he?" she asks after Adams as soon as she sees her parents. "He's gone." her mum moves to her, "And it's better this way." the man murmurs.
"My baby, are you in too much pains?" she sits back next to her daughter and gently caress her head.
While I move out of the hospital, get into my car and drive to the company. As soon as the lifter leading to my office opens, Carol, my secretary welcomes me with papers.
I frown "What is this that can't wait until I get set in my office?" I seize the document from her hands and I move the papers out of the file angrily. "From the board members, it's very urgent sir." she says with a sad look.
"Wow!" They were faster than I except. I read while walking into my office. She follows me in, strutting by the desk while I take a seat with my eyes glued to the paper.
"Sir, what can we do?" she asks in frustration as she watches Admas pressing the paper in frustration, transferring his anger on the poor inoffensive paper that he almost tear it.
"Nothing for now?" her question snatches me out of my thoughts, I free the paper flinging them on my desk. "Have you calculated my net wealth?" I face her hoping for a positive reply.
She sees so much hope in his eyes that she gets reluctant to reply. "Have you calculated it or not?" I scolds repeating my question. Something which I hate doing.
She shivers in fear "Not yet sir. I'm still waiting on the foreign bank statements but they reassured me that it will be sent in a few hours and I will be done with it." she replies with her shivering voice.
"I hope so... Make a list of all the employees who have not been paid and the number of months work with the manager of human resource all I need is the total figure in dollars."
"Okay, sir" she nods, with this she moves out of the office immediately.

• • • Eve's POV • • •
.
Suddenly, I decide to follow the persisting tiny cry I'm hearing. It's better than to go to the palace and remain bored for the whole day as usual. I gently move closer and the cries get louder and the voice seems familiar.
Closer to the gate, this cries seems very familiar "I'm saying the truth, the Queen is my Friend." I heed, the voice is coming from the Bangalore near the gate, I know this whimpers it's that of... Matilda!...
I remember how she cried when we were been lashed in the Caelum Kingdom. I barely chuckled as I remember this. But what is Matilda doing there and what will inflict her to cry.
Instantly, I move into Bangalore without giving it a second thought. I find Matilda hung at the top of the ceiling with both hands tied up, OMG, it's damn freaking. "Release her now!" I order. The men in the room simply laugh the hell out of them.
"And who the hell do you think you are young girl?. You think you can barge in hear and order us?.... Haha," they laugh. "We give you three seconds to evacuate or you will end up like your stupid stubborn friend, up there." he taunts pointing at Matilda.
"Are you people crazy?. She's the Queen of this fucken kingdom. Shit!, so no one here recognises the Queen." Matilda screams loud in awe. Frustration is an understatement to describe the state in which she is.
"This Little girl is the Queen, and I am her late father king Edward" he taunts and they all laugh then he moves closer, roaming around me and this makes me sick.
He's tall and sturdy and his hair is like a massive red bush surrounding two wide brown eyes. He has a thick scar that runs from his forehead down his left eye and this makes him look unpleasant.
Even in this environment surrounded by other fierce guards like him his pose remarkably hold power unlike the others, his dress stretches taunt around his broad shoulders when he shifts snag calling for my attention and I tremble deep within me.
"You have no seconds left... However, you won't end up like your friend though." he stands in front of me and he starts to caress my jaws. I flinch instantly flinging my stare away.
"You got a pretty face, I don't know why but I'm beginning to like you." he clenches my chin tightly drawing my face closer to face his then he continues.
"Are you scared of me?" he speaks in a low seductive tone, anyway that is what he thought but I didn't feel it that way, I was instead clogged with disdain.
"Never." I spit on his face, this draws his face away in a reflex act then he draws it back to me with a malicious smile like I instead increase his stamina. With his other hand he lifts two fingers wipes the spit and licks it off his fingers with his tongue.
Buckkk... It's so disgusting. "Fuck! Who the hell is this scary man?" I asked myself deep down. I can't believe such a man is part of my army.
"Take your filthy hands off me. You will pay for this." I warn. He simply smiles "Take her to my chambers." he orders. A man carries me above ground level "Put me down" I hit his shoulders in vain while he moves out of Bangalore with me.
"Put her down right now!" Edmonton orders as we meet at of the bungalow. OMG, the moon God sent him. "How dare you do this to your queen?" he scolds the man.
The man starts shivering in fear when he hears QUEEN "Sir, sir Rocky asked me to take her to his chamber." he pours it out with fear.
"Get out of my sight." with this, the guard runs away and Edmonton moves into the bungalow. "For how long were you expecting to hide your presence from me?" we barge in.
"I owe you no justification for my actions so I notify you of my presence whenever I want, I come to you whenever I feel as to. Until then you wait." he retorts boldly.
"Sure, but you owe it to the Queen." Edmonton point at me and the huge man stares widens in shock. "My queen" he bows like nothing had happened earlier. I mean just a few seconds ago.
"Who the hell is this?" I ask.
"He's sir Rocky, after the death of your father he was sent with a few men to the East side of the country to save some of your father's properties which the neighbouring country threaten to seize. It's a long story which I won't like to bore you with." He turns and smiles at me as if I'm a foolish child then he adds "So now he's back, he will take back his function as the head of our army".
"What?" I scream, widening my eyes in shock. "Never, ever will this dog be the head of my army. I better lose all the fights against my foes than to fight by this creature." I curse him, deep down.
"Trust me, my Queen, he's a great asset." Edmonton whispers into my ears as he sees the strange look on my face. Sometimes I don't understand the kind of my Edmonton is.
"Please can someone help me?. Untie..." Matilda helplessly screams but everyone is busy talking...
