Chapter 83: Chapter 83

Married To Mr Arrogant

Subtitle: Getting to know him

"I'm annoyed to be honest." Julian poured out.

Robinson adjusted his (rarely used) glasses.

"So you mean to tell me you tried to kill your brother?"

" No! Didn't you understand what I said?" Julian half yelled in frustration.

" Of course I did." Robinson replied.

" And what you understood from all that was the myth that I tried to kill Justin? And for the second time this morning, he's not my brother!" Julian gritted his teeth.

" Young Man, mind the way you speak to me."

Robinson issued a warning to his almighty (sarcasm intended) grandson.

"Why's everyone telling me that today? Why do you elders place yourself above us? Not like you know half of the things we younger generation know."

" I was busy when you came here this morning, if you wish to disturb my peace just because I barely punish you for all your wrongdoings, leave from here right this instant." Robinson commanded.

Justin sprang from his seat.

" Oh really?" He asked his grandfather who was not even paying any attention to him anymore.

"Fine, if a book is more important than me, I'll gladly leave from here."

Julian turned to leave but he suddenly turned around.

"My wedding's tomorrow."

This definitely caught Robinson's attention and he stared at Julian's face, trying to make sense of what his grand son was saying.

A weird smirk appeared on his face.

"That's right. I'm going to pick the bride and bring her to live with us. Immediately I leave here, I'm going to get her straight down to my house and into my room, and adding to the pain Justin's currently in, I'll use her to torture him more. I promise."

" I was never against it. And concerning Justin's injury, I know you didn't do it, and even if you did, it'd only make me proud of you for learning to stand your ground. Now, off you go. "

Julian's mouth was hanging loose from his jaw. Did his grandfather just support him?

He bowed slightly before his grand father and left afterwards.

Robinson removed his glasses and turned to look at the door Julian left from, and a smile formed on his lips. The smile still on his lips, he fixed his glass back onto his face, a little bit below his eyes and turned back to what he was reading.

... At the entrance to the Hospital ...

In a Benz AMG gt

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Roseau had her fingers clasped against each other.

"Tell you what?"

Steve turned to face her.

"Why didn't you tell me Justin suffered from a fall?" Steve asked and paused for a reply from her.

He wanted even if it was just a flimsy excuse to be mentioned to him, but when no response came, he continued.

"Was it because our son is the reason for Justin's momentary condition?"

Roseau turned to face him, the side of her eyes looking straight at the tinted glass behind her husband.

" This was the reason why I didn't tell you. "

" What reason? "

" Because I knew you wouldn't trust Julian just like I didn't at first. "

" But you don't know if he did it or not. "

" Yes, I know that, but I don't care about all those protocols. Julian is my son, our son and I won't tolerate you or anyone else harming him in any way, even with words. "

" You... Is this what you truly want for him? "

" Oh please. Spare me that. You allowed your father raise him this way, and you didn't object. Surely, trying to change him now would be like trying to recover spilt milk - which we both know isn't possible by the way."

" So, you're saying? "

" Why try to bend the rod that had been harnessed unbridled for such a long time? Just listen to your father like always and let's see who among the two of them is going to break who." Roseau added.

" Sure."

" Let's go home then."

Roseau yawned and Steve looked at her strangely.

" What? I'm not being a bad person. Afterall, the surgery ended few minutes ago and it was successful, they don't need us in the hospital anymore, we were just occupying space earlier. "

" Roseau, still... "

Roseau glared at him.

" I'm famished please. Could you please step on it when the engine comes alive? "

Steve nodded and turned back in his normal position. He turned the key in its place and immediately the car came alive, he revved the engine in a rather macho style.

... In the Hardey's Mansion ...

... On the porch right outside ...

๑ 'Send me the address.'๑

๑ ' Yes, boss.'๑

Julian looked up from his phone and smiled, before walking to the garage to take out his car for a drive. He got the keys to his car and immediately he beeped it open, he got in and drove off.

Tucked behind his seat belt safely, his phone's message tone went off, indicating he'd just received a text. Wasting no time, Julian picked his phone and checked the text he'd just received.

He smiled, his grandfather was so , wise when he'd sent this boy-man to follow Kylie to her place in the past, now it was coming in handy for this moment. He copied the address on his clipboard, went to maps and pasted it on search.

The moment he clicked on the search icon, the results were brought out and he immediately inputted the address into his car gps and the gps led him to where he was going.

As the GPS' voice came to a slow end, Julian parked his car right where the voice stopped giving him directions. He went down the car and looked ahead, his gaze coming in contact with what seemed like a rental building with different separate apartments.

"How am I going to find her apartment?" Julian muttered under his breath, but he didn't have to wait too long as his eyes caught sight of Kylie walking to and fro in an enclosed space facing the road directly as if looking around for any something.

Julian huffed.

Picking an apartment with a window that faced the road? Unwise.

It was to his benefit however, lol. He had her to thank later.

Julian took fast strides towards the apartment, and when looking for the way to gain entrance, found a small passage by the side of the house and he went through it, immediately seeing the door to Kylie's apartment.

Julian knocked.

He knew better than to try force his way inside, since this was a low budget apartment, there was nothing to look through from inside to see what was going on outside.

He hated it, but he was starting to like this place - he could gain easy access.

He knocked a few more times before he heard sounds from indoors and soon, Kylie's voice followed.

"Who's there?"

Julian could not mistake that light Alto voice of hers, it was definitely her speaking, and she was probably alone, so why not play a little with her?

"It's me."

"You, who?"

Julian thought for a while on how to answer this particular question, and an idea popped into his head. He knew her weakest, why not use it??

"It's me. Justin." Julian lied and immediately, he heard the sound of the door being unlocked, and soon light from inside the room flashed brightly on his face.

He had been in the dark passage for a while now, and the light was a welcomed change.

He looked at the lady standing in between the door, and neither inside nor outside, Julian chuckled.

"Surprised? Oh, don't be, oh dearest mine!"
