Chapter 59: Chapter 59
Imogen's POV
"She is already on her way here. Maybe, you can "lie" to her yourself" my mum nodded her head, climbing up the stairs again, without waiting for Zamiel's reply.
I had to giggle at the game my mum was trying to play, as if she didn't know the kind of person Zamiel was.
"And what exactly is funny?" He asked me, looking so disappointed and confused at the same time.
"I pity her" I shook my head slowly, as I got close to him.
"Who exactly?" He narrowed his eyes, zooming something on his phone.
"Your so-called wife-to-be. She doesn't know you at all, if not, she wouldn't have asked you to come shopping with her.
She thinks you both are dating" I explained, while trying to stand on my toes so I could see what he was looking at.
"Oh my!! Nice twins" I giggled, I don't know who had sent him a picture of her t*ts.
"It's Joan. Men, her life is just messed up" he felt disgusted.
I mean, I would too, she just can't be sending him n*des like that.
"I think you should go shopping with her. '' I advised him, as he put the phone back into his pocket.
"And why is that? I know you aren't crazy yet, so tell me your reason" he raised an eyebrow, with folded arms.
"Yet?... Zamy, you should respect me" I frowned at him.
"I'm the older one, I don't want to dive into any kind of explanation.
Just tell me the reason, so I will know what I should do next" He went to sit on the couch, spreading his tired arms widely.
"She's sl*t, you can f*ck her. Do some dirty digging on her, and dump her. If mum keeps giving you one hundred reasons why you should marry her.
I think you should be looking for a thousand reasons why you shouldn't. Plus f*cking her is a bonus point I guess" I didn't know how to explain my idea very well, but Zamy is smart I'm sure he would understand.
"I'm pleased you still use your brain" he chuckled, and I felt more than insulted.
I didn't even wait for him to say another word to me, when I sprang up from the couch, and turned around and was about to storm out.
"I'm just joking little sis" he apologized, in the most ridiculous way.
"I will forgive you on one condition" I turned around, and went to take a seat beside him.
"Which is?" He looked at me, with all concentration.
"You will have to buy me this handbag" I brought out my phone and showed him.
"Imogen," he called out to me in shock.
"Yes," I responded, acting like a child.
"This says, the bag in question is thirty thousand dollars. You want to spend that much on a bag?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Hmmn….it's not my money. You are the one paying for it" I laughed.
"Sometimes I wonder if you are with me or against me" he shook his head slowly, and I had never been more satisfied, up until that point.
"Are you buying it or not?" I kept on tapping my feet on the floor, waiting for his response.
"Fine, I'll buy it later. I need to finish some work upstairs" he agreed.
I jumped on him immediately, giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek.
"Best big brother ever" I laughed and he chuckled.
"Most expensive little sister ever" he responded, as we both laughed it off.
Hannah's POV
"Have you completed the abortion?" I heard my stepmom speak the moment I stepped foot into the sitting room.
I paused for a second, just to turn around and look if she was talking to someone that was behind me, because she was looking in my direction.
"Answer your mother. She is talking to you, isn't she!!?" I heard my father's voice hit me like thunder.
"I don't understand, what abortion?" Normally, I wouldn't talk to either of them like that, but in this case. I felt like I was forced to.
"The driver told us that you asked him to bring some clothes to the hospital for you.
What else did you go there to do, if not an abortion?" My brainless step-sister opened her mouth, talking trash.
"So, people only go to the hospital for abortion huh? Did it occur to you that maybe I fell sick?" I looked at her, all I wanted to do was strangle the living daylights out of her.
"If you were sick, you would have called to inform us.
And it's been more than a day, you went there, or were you admitted?" Joan kept on talking, and at this point, I immediately figured out that she had no senses at all….not like I wasn't aware of that fact before now.
"Answer her? Why didn't you call to inform us?!!" My stepmom raised her voice at me as if she cares.
What difference would it have made if I had called any of them.
No one was going to come for me, that is if they managed to believe me.
I kept silent, knowing fully well that I was guilty, and had nothing to say in my defense. I already knew I was done for!
"Hannah?" My dad called out to me, and I jerked back to reality almost immediately. Turning my head to look at him.
"Don't make me think that your sister has been telling me the truth all this while?" He hung his head low, shaking his head in disappointment.
"Huh?" I was confused, and bittered at the same time.
It was quite displeasing to see that even my own father wasn't going to give me a chance to explain myself. He wasn't going to let me defend myself at all.
"You have been going around, having your ways with older men for money. Men that are old enough to be my own mates.
