Chapter 58: Chapter 58

"Stop the car here!!" Hannah kept on insisting.

"Hannah, we are in the middle of the road, common! This is a highway" Zamiel was insisting on disobeying her.

"I know, just stop the car. I will take a taxi from here. I promise I will be fine" She pleaded.

"Said the girl, that allowed herself to get hit by a car" he raised an eyebrow at her, helping her take off her seatbelt.

"It wasn't my fault the driver was reckless" she answered, and they both laughed.

He looked at her, as if she had already opened the door to step out.

"Will I ever see you again?" Hannah suddenly stopped and inquired.

"If you want" he responded, trying to act as if he didn't care

But, deep down he knew he would love to see her all the time.

"I don't even have your number" she closed her eyes slowly.

"You didn't ask the doctor for it" he frowned at her negligence.

"Is it too late to get it from you?" She picked her words carefully, closing the door as they were still in traffic.

"78…." He called out his number for her, and she called him immediately so he would have hers.

"Call me sometimes," she blushed.

"Only sometimes? What if I decide to call you every time?" He asked her, bringing his face close to hers.

"Then…" she wanted to talk, but he interrupted her, by kissing her deeply on the lips. She didn't even try to restrain or stop herself.

She let his hands wander all over her body, as he covered her lips.

Her heart skipped so many beats at the same time, she could barely breathe but she didn't want him to stop either.

"I'm sorry, I…" he broke free, realizing that it wasn't proper to just k*ss her all of a sudden.

"I didn't say you could stop" she held him by the collar, drew him closer to her forcefully, and continued to k*ss him, while he rubbed her lap gently.

The feeling of his tongue just made her day. She wasn't going to let him go just like that.

"I wish he is mine" Zamiel heard her voice in his head, as he broke free from the k*ss.

"Why??" She was upset.

"The line is moving, a lot of cars are honking from behind, '' he responded, and started the engine of the vehicle. He drove further ahead, just for her safety.

He didn't want the angry drivers from behind him, to attack her the moment she stepped down from the car.

When he got to a safe distance, he stopped the car for her to get down.

"I'll call you, just to make sure you don't get hit by a car again" he laughed, and she giggled while she came down, waving him bye.

He watched her walk away, and when he saw that she had stepped into a taxi.

He decided to follow the taxi but soon changed his mind very quickly as he drove straight to the castle.

Imogen's POV

"I thought I would have to file a missing person report, before you would come back home" I taunted Zamiel, at first sight.

"Why are you always looking for more mischievous ways to trouble me? Don't you have better things to do?" He nodded his head, in annoyance, as he began to touch his pocket.

"What are you looking for?" I frowned at him, acting like I didn't know what was going on.

"My phone" he became vexed, as if I was responsible. He was the careless one, and not me.

"It's in your hand" I rolled my eyes at him, as I smiled to one corner of my face.

"My other phone Imogen, where is it?" He lowered his eyebrows, slowly making his way towards me.

"Why are you asking me? You just told me now that it's yours. I don't remember borrowing it from you" I pouted my lips, as I moved further away from him.

I miscalculated my steps, and I almost fell, but he caught me just in time.

With one of his palms firmly on my waist, while the other grasped onto one of my hands for support.

"Are you going to give me my phone, or do I have to drop you, and let you fall first?" He smirked, knowing that he had managed to put me in a tight spot.

"You left it on my bed" I reminded him, while trying to get up, bringing his phone out of my left pocket.

"Do you always have to be dramatic when it comes to everything? You could have just given me when you first saw me" he looked at the phone, checking for any damages.

"You are here? That's nice, Joan's mother just called me. She said, that Joan would love to go shopping with you." My mom carefully made her way down the staircase,as she held onto the stair rail for support.

She stopped just at the last stair, it seemed like she didn't want to come down completely.

"And what did you tell her?" Zamiel didn't even raise his head, like he was the one being spoken to.

"I told her, I would ask you first" my mum lowered her voice suddenly, and it was only then did Zamiel raise his head to look at her.

"Good, now you can go back and tell her that I refused because I have plans" Zamiel ordered her, not minding her status as his mother and the queen.

"What plans do you have?" She raised an eyebrow at him, she knew he was lying and she wanted to catch him red-handed.

"I don't know, you can make up anything you feel like. You are good at lying, I mean you have been doing it for so many years" he gave her a dirty look that made her swallow hard.

I looked at both of them, and wondered if I landed in another universe by mistake. Because what exactly was going on?
