Chapter 49: Chapter 49

A heavy wind suddenly blew through Hannah's face, as she struggled to remove the strands of hair that had covered her face.

She was enjoying the wind blowing up her hair like that. She felt comfortable and at ease outside, she didn't want to go back inside and feel suffocated all of a sudden.

She thought about waiting until they were done finalizing the marriage.

Her stepmother had made her wear a noise mask, just because she felt Hannah's beauty would attract Joan's would-be husband….she found her stepmother's theory to be very ridiculous.

Zamiel parked his car angrily, with the wind blowing beneath his suit.

He stumped his feet, forcing himself to go inside the castle.

He flinched at the sight of the guests, he couldn't believe that his mother let them come, after how he reacted the previous day.

"Zamiel!" Keren seemed a bit too excited to see her son, as she sprang from her chair to go meet him.

She had barely even taken two steps when he gave her daggering eyes, warning her to stay away from him.

"Uhrm….please come, take a seat" she scratched her head stylishly.

"I don't want to…" he made his decision clear.

Keren swallowed a huge chunk of her saliva, sweating and wondering how she was going to handle the disgrace Zamiel was about to bring to her.

"I need to shower first. I was in a rush to go out, I didn't have my bath" Zamiel licked the roof of his mouth, and his upper teeth. As his sister had given him a sign to behave himself.

"Okay" Keren shrugged, heaving a breath of relief. As she watched her son climb the stairs, with Imogen trailing after him not too long after.

"So, why the lie?" Imogen raised an eyebrow, as she stood by the entrance with folded arms.

"You know you should probably enter the room, and close the door first, before we can discuss that" Zamiel raised his head quickly, motioning to remind her that guards and maids were walking down the hallway.

"Ohh.." she sprang into action, locking the door quickly, before walking up to her brother seated on the bed.

"Zamiel" She called out to him softly, the way she would normally do whenever she wanted to ask him for something.

"Imogen, please don't. I know what you are going to say. I only made up an excuse to leave that place because of you.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have said a word to anyone, I owe no one any explanation" Zamiel rolled his eyes, letting his entire weight rest on the bed.

"I know that, and I appreciate it. For my sake, can you please go downstairs and be with your wife-to-be?" She pouted her lips.

"Nope, and stop calling her that" He rested both his palms on the back of his head.

"Not even when I say pretty please?" She showed him her sparkling eyes, as she fell on him. With one of her palms on his chest, and the other resting on the bed.

"Imogen" He whispered, as her face stopped close to his.

"Yes, Zamy" she whispered back.

"You are tempting me again, and your a*s is bigger now. Bouncing it on my rod like that, it…" He didn't know what to say next. He knew, but he didn't know how it was going to sound.

"Let me tempt you more and more. Now, you ain't married" she licked her lips, this girl wanted to drive him nuts.

"Imogen, you freak. Get off me" he pushed her off him, and she giggled at how his rod was almost erected…well it got erected and then rested again, almost immediately.

"You are just a big baby" she smiled at him.

"Just go downstairs," she added.

"No" His reply was firm, as he scanned through his wardrobe, looking for what to change into.

"If you don't go downstairs and meet her. I will take off my clothes, and see how much more I can tempt you" she had a wicked smirk on her face.

He was already gulping down a glass of water when she was talking. And immediately she voiced out those words, he spit all the water out almost immediately.

"Is that a threat?" he tried to wipe his face with a towel.

"Nope" she started by unzipping the back of her dress.

He stood there, watching her, thinking that she would stop her actions. But, that wasn't what happened, as she took off her dress entirely.

"Okay, okay….I'll do it. Jeez!!" He yelled trying to close his eyes, and walk out of the room, but Imogen didn't let him.

"Please…we have talked about this" He stopped her hands from trailing down to his pants, forcefully taking her off him, and rushing out the door.

Imogen wore her dress immediately, and followed him.

But, by the time she could arrive at the sitting room, he was already seated next to his mother.

"Zamiel, meet Joan" Keren had already started doing the introduction.

"And they are her parents, nice…" Zamiel forced a smile on his face as he interrupted her, pointing at Joan's parents.

At the castle's garden

"Driver, can you take me to the office please," Hannah told the driver, she had gotten an emergency call.

Although Hannah was still in college, she started her own small business. She knew with the way things went, that her father wasn't going to leave any wealth for her.

"Yes ma'am, but your parents and sister are still inside. Won't you want to inform them that you are leaving first?" The driver was quite skeptical in asking his question.

"I will just call them when I get there" she informed him, knowing fully well that her presence meant nothing to them, and she didn't care about seeing her sister's future husband anyways.

"Okay," the driver smiled, opening the door for her.

"Mom" Joan suddenly called out to her mother, giving her eye signals she didn't seem to understand.

"What is it dear? You can tell me" She urged her daughter to speak up in front of everyone.
