Chapter 141: Chapter 141
"I think I need a change of shirt," Brianna mentioned when she noticed the cut on the shirt she was wearing. It was when Lucien made a cut on the very spot where her wound was for Jack Foster to check. Lucien only used some adhesive tapes to attach the cut edges and cover that spot again.
"Wait, I will get one," Lucien stood from where he was seated on the side of her bed to reach for the new set of change prepared on the bed's foot-end bench.
But when he turned around to hand her the clothes, he was startled to see Anna was already pulling her shirt off her. Lucien quickly turned around again, walked with his face to the door, and placed the shirt on Anna's side. He did not dare take a peek. He almost saw her perky breasts!
He suddenly remembers something.
"Fuck!" He inwardly groaned.
Lucien grabbed the clean sheet of cover along with the change of clothes and spread it widely to cover Anna.
"I swear, I'm not looking. I am worried someone might get in," Lucien explained eagerly.
He was sure no one would get into the room without knocking on the door. He recalled there are cameras in this room. Her spot was directly in one of the cameras'. She could be seen by anyone watching her on the monitor right now; hopefully, his grandpas weren't out of their rooms yet. So to make sure no one was seeing her, Lucien covered her with a widespread bedsheet.
Brianna did not say anything. She did not reject his offer, and she did not stop him. A thing Lucien was so relieved.
He waited until the patient said she was done. That was only when Lucien dropped the bedsheet he was holding with his arms extended sidewards. He carefully looked at Anna. His eyes did not turn directly to her face, he glanced on her side first, and when his peripheral vision confirmed she was indeed properly dressed, he sat on his spot earlier, close to Anna.
The clothes she was wearing earlier have floral designs. And the fabric was quite thick, so her nipples weren't visible. But this time, the material was thinner, and the color was pure white. And so her chest mounds were almost visible, especially her pinkish tits. Brianna was not mindful at all.
She has never regarded her body as that of a woman. She is a warrior. She has been in training with men and women. All like soldiers. They do not define genders. During the early years of her training, she was alone. It was only in the later years of her youth that she was sent to train with both genders. Male and female.
But during that time, she was already trained above everyone else. Her talents and capabilities were no longer comparable to the other trainees that no one dared to annoy her. They may have admired her, but Brianna was already walled with only one goal. She did not bother looking around; she was numb from all the physical, mental and emotional pain Charles Anderson had made her go through every single day. Stepping on her bad side will send that soul to hell. No one dared to touch her. No one dared to be bold. To show affection or initiate any sexual intent. Everyone was aware that even Charles Anderson might die if she was provoked. How are they going to be reckless? She was scary, after all. They know how she can kill anyone with a single move—armed on not.
So even if she had her admirable body displayed during their shared showers or even if she undressed in front of others who were also taking off their clothes, changing, or for whatever reasons, she had never cared. In front of Lucian, it was no different. She wasn't conscious. For one reason, there was only one man. And he was Lucien. So Anna was not really mindful at all.
But for the man, it was very different. Even if he didn't want to annoy or think any evil thoughts about the woman right in front of him, he was a man with natural reactions. It showed in an instant. But his response was more of shock, not the sexual one. His heart was jumping out of control. He wanted to protect her, but she was so carefree. He could not scold her either. He closed his eyes. She's not doing anything wrong, after all. She was wearing the clothes he himself handed her to get changed into. Lucien tried to think about what proper thing to do in this situation. He didn't want to bring an outside the room wearing such clothes. He stared at her. Lucian stared at Brianna.
"What?" Anna asked. She noticed he was looking at her blankly like he was in deep thoughts.
Jack was not aware of what was happening between Luciena and Brianna. He could not see what she was wearing, so Jack could not suggest anything. He was keenly listening but, he could not create a possible scenario in his mind with the limited idea he could catch from the conversation between the two in the room at Lucien's villa until Lucien answered Brianna's question.
"We need to do something with your clothes. I mean, you can't go out of the room wearing just like that," Lucien looked around for anything he could overtop her shirt.
"What do you mean? Why not?" Anna looked at where Lucien was pointing at her. It was her chest. And she saw what he was referring to.
"Oh, this?"
Then she moved her hair from the back of her head combed them down her chest. She had long curly hair. She would usually make a bun out of it. Having longer hair had always been easier for her to manage. She could tie it up using anything available in her surroundings. She had tried a bob-cut hairstyle one time, but she didn't like it. Because when the wind blows and it is not fixed with hard gel to stay in place, it blocks her sight. Not really good when she's taking a Sniper shot. The very next day, she had her hair razored, only a few millimeters in the length of hair from her scalp. However, since then, she has let her hair grow. Because she wanted to cover her face when in front of other people, a cap did the job, but she was more comfortable with her hair. And she would only trim them once in a while. It was helpful that she had long hair to cover her chest.
"Right, that's an excellent idea! Okay, Okay!" Lucian gleefully exclaimed; he was so satisfied. The length of her hair was perfect for covering her chest.
He wanted to add, saying, "Looking at you this way is quite refreshing. It's a different beauty. I got to see. But Lucian could not utter them loudly. Yet, he was feeling enthusiastic.
"I would like to walk on my own," Anna requested.
She noticed Lucien was about to hold her by the hand to assist her in going down the bed. So, she stated her request respectfully.
"I understand," Lucian replied. "I would like to tour you around as we wait for the table to get prepared. Would you like that?"
"Thank you. I think walking would be a good exercise for me," Anna faintly smiled.
It did not get missed by Lucien's attentive eyes, and he was elated again.
"Let's go then."
