"Where is she?",Abeer questioned as soon as he entered her cabin.
"First, have a seat. Then talk while having your favorite cold coffee with chocolate ice cream just as you like.",Mia offered excitedly.
"Thanks for asking Mia but I really don't need these formalities. Just come straight to the point for God sake.",Abeer said, controlling his anger from coming on the surface.
"Okay.. If you really want to hear the truth. Then what can I do? I tried to divert your mind but if you want to hear the bitter truth then I am ready to inform you.",Mia frowned , hiding her anger witnessing his excitement to meet Khushi .
"She doesn't want to work with you, truth to be told ,Abeer. I am really sorry I tried my best to convince her but she rejected my offer.",Mia lied smoothly.
"What? Why did she refuse to become my personal assistant?",Abeer asked, hiding his sadness.
"She was feeling uncomfortable working with you so she declined the offer and chose to become my personal assistant.", Mia made an excuse to hide her lie.
"Oh! How could I forget that she was feeling uncomfortable working with a man due to her previous past incident. That's why she chose Mia. How silly of me to think otherwise! ",Abeer thought in his heart , remembering the incidents that happened with her in the past.
"Hmm...I see..Just send her to my cabin. I have to teach her a lesson for rejecting my proposal.",Abeer faked anger in front of her ,hiding his excitement.
"Yesss....Finally my plan succeeded by creating misunderstanding between them. Without letting her know, I made her image fall down in Abeer's eyes.
"As soon as she comes back after doing her personal work , I will send her to your cabin.", Mia said ,hiding her happiness.
"Her personal work? Did she come here for work or to do her personal stuff during working hours?",Abeer questioned , rolling his eyes.
"She wanted a half day leave so I couldn't reject her that's why. I will send her as soon as she comes. Don't worry. Now you go and have a look of your new cabin , made specially according to your taste."Mia lied to him again, trying to make Khushi's image bad in his eyes, unaware of the fact that he has already fallen in love with her.
Abeer nodded and moved towards his cabin, smiling like an idiot who was waiting for his lover to see her one glimpse.

Khushi reached the place where Mia sent her for receiving the clients but was shocked to witness no one there waiting for her.
"That's strange! Ma'am sent me the location of this place to receive our foreign clients but as far as I can see there is no one here like that.",Khushi murmured looking everywhere.
"What should I do now? Our new boss will also come there and I am going to miss his welcome party now. Oh! My God I don't want to be absent on his first day as our new boss.",Khushi muttered looking at the sky.
She took out her mobile and called Mia to inform her about the current scene.
"Hello..Yes Khushi ?"Mia asked as soon as she received the call.
"Ma'am I have reached the location you sent but I can't see anyone here waiting for me. What to do now?"Khushi asked .
"Oops! I am so sorry dear I forgot to inform you that they won't be coming today as they went back to their hotel and postponed today's meeting. So come back.",Mia smirked , smiling like a devil.
"What? Ma'am Is our new boss arriving at the office ?",Khushi asked ,hoping to hear a No from Mia's side.
"Yes..He came one hour ago and was asking about you. So come early.",Mia ordered and cut the call without waiting for her reply.
"It does not matter whether you come early or late Miss. Khushi because I have done my work and now no matter how much you impressed him with your work ,you are not going to impress him anyway because of my lie which I told for you.''Mia smiled.
"Oh! No. I missed it."Khushi said ,scared of the consequences she has to face now.
Khushi's thoughts were consumed by a growing sense of dread.
She feared that her absence on such a crucial day would leave a lasting negative impression.
What if her boss thought she lacked dedication and punctuality? The dread only deepened as she imagined her boss's disappointment and disapproval.
As the hours dragged on, Khushi couldn't help but replay scenarios in her mind where her boss might take notice of her absence and question her commitment to the job.
She couldn't afford to lose this position, and the fear of being fired for this simple mistake gnawed at her.
Regret for not taking better care of time management and ensuring she could be present on this pivotal day weighed heavily on her.

"Driver please drive as fast as you can. We have to reach the office as soon as possible. ",Khushi ordered getting inside the car.

Should I say that I am her new boss now onwards or should I say she could treat me as her friend or should I say there is no need of any formality between us because I am his "Arnan" and she could call me with that name without worrying for others.",Abeer asked himself getting excited like a teenager who get excited with meeting her girlfriend .
"No..no... I think it's better if I don't reveal my relationship with her in front of others as she will get suspected or what if people started talking rubbish about her I can't tolerate a single word against her.
And if my enemies get to know about her ,it will danger her life and I can't take risks with it so I have to make it clear to hide the fact that we had known each other before. And it's not our first meeting. I would act like a strict boss in front of everyone including Mia so that no one could doubt us.",Abeer said to himself ,after thinking for a while.
