Chapter 90: The proposal

" Dude why are you lying to yourself " Alexander snorted.

" What do you mean? You know Bella is far prettier, " Jason laughed.

" Enough of you two, " Isabella said.

" Isabella and I are both pretty, why can't you both just settle on that " Emily said.

" There's no one who can  compare with my cupcake, she's one in a billion, " Jason said.

She smiled sweetly" Awww " Isabella gushed

Emily glared at Isabella `` are you supposing to be gushing right now? "

" Oh right, we are all one in a billion" Isabella coughed.

" What are you peeps arguing about? " Aiden said as he walked over to them with Chloe.

Everyone froze " Chloe you and Aiden….. " Isabella paused in shock.

Chloe quickly shook her head " of course no, we are not a thing " she said and Isabella heaved a sigh of relief.

" What does that mean? Am I that terrible that you needed to act this way in front of me?  " Aiden said as he glanced at Isabella.

" I don't want my sister to have anything to do with a playboy, have a problem with that " Isabella said as she rolled her eyes.

Aiden smirked sinisterly" I can't have a problem with a sexy lady like you, dude can you lend her to me for tonight " he asked.

Jason glared at him with daggers " say that again, and I promise to lend you a coffin according to your taste " he said.

He raised his hands in defeat " chill dude I'm only kidding " he quickly said and Isabella laughed.

" Where is your sister? " Alexander asked.

" Why are you always asking for Zoey, are you sure….. Emily you better hold this guy tight " Aiden said.

" You better shut the crap, " Alexander said sternly.

" But Zoey is so hot you know " Aiden said as he drank from his bottle of wine.

" Between Zoey, Emily and Isabella who is prettier " Alexander said to Aiden.

" How can you even ask me that, it's like asking me to choose between a house, money and a sports car " he said.

" Meaning? " Alexander asked.

" It means they are all pretty in different ways, like for example I love Bella blue eyes they are so enchanting, I love Emily's smile and lastly I love Zoey's lips the most I would love to kiss it " Aiden said.

" Stop talking about my sister in my presence, if you don't want to lose your teeths, " Jason warned him.

" Gosh I'm tired of this conversation, I will go speak to Olivia " Isabella said and walked away.

At The Other Side Of The Hall

" Bella, have you seen Liam ? " Olivia asked.

" No I haven't, he didn't even write the last exams I tried calling him but he ain't picking I'm also worried about him " Isabella said with a frown.

" I think we should go see him tomorrow, " Olivia suggested.

" You are right, " Isabella said.

Just then Isabella spotted Liam, walking into the hall " look, Olivia Liam is here " she said excitedly.

" Let's go over" Olivia pulled her.

" Liam! " Isabella called out and he turned around instantly.

" What happened, why aren't you picking my calls? have been worried sick about you" Isabella said bombarding him with questions.

Liam forced a smile " I went out of town but I'm back now. How have you ladies been without me? " he asked.

Olivia suddenly hugged him "  I missed you alot, you know anytime Bella ditches us for Jason you are always there but you just vanished " she complained.

" I'm sorry Oli, " he chuckled softly.

Just then Isabella received a text message from Jason.

" Come to the rooftop " she read silently.

She looked around but couldn't find him.

" Um, guys I'll be back " she excused herself and proceeded to the rooftop.

She got there but couldn't find anyone " why is it so dark over here " she mumbled.

" Jason, Jason are you here ? " She called out to him but got no response.

She was about to turn around to leave when the billboard from the street suddenly turned on.

" Bella, will you marry me? " She read what was written on it.

" What the heck is going on here? " She muttered confusedly, staring at the place.

The light suddenly came on, and rose petals from nowhere came pouring down on her.

Jason appeared with his hands behind his back, he suddenly went on one knee and brought out 99 roses.

" Let's do this properly, Isabella khelani Andrew, my one and only cupcake, will you marry me? " He said with a smile.

She stared at him in disbelief  before she could find her words, she heard the students cheering " say yes, say yes ,say yes " they chorused as some of them brought out their phones  capturing this moment.

She was stunned as she wondered when they had all gotten over here.

Isabella laughed as she watched him bring out  a red small box, he opened it up and behold it was a pink diamond ring.

Tears immediately slipped out of her eyes, she didn't expect this from Jason, it was really a beautiful surprise that she will never forget.

" Cupcake my knee is hurting already " he said in a pitiful tone.

" Yes I will marry you " she brought her hand forward and he slipped the ring into her finger.

She hugged him immediately" when did you plan this " she asked.

" A long time ago, I was just waiting for the perfect time, " he said softly as he patted her on the back.

Just then the students began to cheer again " kiss, kiss, kiss " they chorused.

" What! " Isabella blushed and tried to slip away.

Jason cupped her cheeks and conquered her lips, and the students began to scream crazily.

The kiss lasted longer than expected and they gushed at them.

Liam  pressed his lips hard as he stared at them for a while, before walking away from the rooftop.

Emily pinched Alexander on the arm " you see this is how to plan a romantic proposal " she said.

" Millie baby,  Should I propose to you again? "  Alexander sheepishly said.

Emily snorted." I don't need it anymore, " she said as she pushed him aside.

" Congratulations jasella, " Alexander said.

" It sounds cute, " Chloe said with a faint smile.

" Congratulations bell, you deserve it " Emily said as she hugged her.

" Sorry for coming late, someone wanted to get dressed like a doll " Chris glared at Zoey.

" I'm glad we missed it, imagining the both of them kissing makes me sick already " Zoey said as she tossed her hair backwards.

" Zoey, do you remember me? " Aiden said as he walked closer to her.

" Yeah I do, you're Alex's cousin , what do you want? " She asked with a straight face.

" I was wondering if you wanted to have this dance with me " he asked as he smirked.

" I will pass, " she said casually as he played with her phone.

" Let's dance " Isabella pulled Jason.

" Millie, we have to prove that we can dance better than them, " Alexander said and dragged her to the dance floor.

Chris looked at Chloe, his lips parted slightly about saying something when Zoey pulled his arm " I suddenly feel like dancing, let's go " she said and Chris followed behind her.

Chloe folded her arm to her chest as she watched them dance, she excused herself and went out for fresh air.

She sighs loudly and her tears threaten to fall " I shouldn't have come here " she muttered sadly.

She sat down there, gazing at the sky, Aiden came out to look for her and found her sitting on a bench outside.

" Chloe is cold over here, let's go back inside " Aiden said.

" I don't want to, I will be fine " she mumbled.

Aiden sighs and sits next to her " tell me what's going on candy " he asked.

Chloe turned to him and before she could speak, Aiden suddenly captured her lips

She flinched and tried to pull back but he didn't let her.  She moaned in-between the kiss and he slowly let go of her lips.

Chloe gave him a tight slap immediately " smack! What nonsense is this, do you take me for a cheap girl huh " she yelled furiously.

" I'm sorry Chloe, I just saw Amica passing by and I wanted her to get Jealous moreover, why are you getting so worked up? It is not as if you have a boyfriend, " he said casually.
