Chapter 89: Christmas Ball Party

" What's wrong?" Alexander asked.

" Tell me, " Aiden demanded.

" For almost a year now, she's Isabella's best friend, " Alexander said with furrowed brows.

Aiden sneered " hope you know you are dating someone girlfriend "

" Huh? What nonsense are you saying? Dude are you high? " Alexander asked as his expression turned dark.

" Thank goodness I have proof, " Aiden said as he brought out his phone from his pocket.

" Here look at these pictures, it was taken just last year " Aiden passed his phone to Alexander.

Alexander took a look at the pictures and a frown crept on his face " this is really Millie. But how is this possible, are you sure? " He muttered.

Aiden frown" isn't she Caleb Anthony little sis, Emily's boyfriend and I are good friends. I haven't met Emily before but he sent me this pictures of them some months back "

" Who's this guy? " Alexander asked.

" He's also currently in New York, his name is Jace, Caleb's best friend, " Aiden said.

Alexander felt hurt " are you sure about this? " He asked again as he couldn't believe it even though there was evidence right in front of him.

They went back into the room and Alexander sat back in deep thoughts.

" Alex, what's wrong? " Emily asked.

" Millie, come with me " Alexander said and walked out of the room.

Emily stood there for a while before going after him.

" Alex, what is it ? " She asked as she walked behind him.

He turned around and pulled her into his bedroom.He threw the phone on the bed.

" Can you explain this? " He asked.

Emily looked at him before picking up the phone, she looked at the pictures with a stunned expression." This is nothing, " she said.

Alexander snorted " It's really nothing? " He said as he closed the space between them.

She gulped down nothing, feeling a little intimidated by him" These are photos from a party, it was a game of truth or dare and I don't know who took these photos, " Emily said.

" Did he kiss you or not?" He said, trying to stay calm.

" Yes, but I promise Jace and I have nothing to do with one another " Emily said as she placed her hand on his cheeks.

" All this happened before I met you " she whispered.

He sighs " Millie I don't want anyone to come close to you, I really can't stand it. I might lose it" Alexander said as he sat on the couch with his head lowered.

" I promise I won't let anyone come close to me, I really have nothing to do with jace " she said softly.

He pulled her into his embrace " How can I stay mad at you?  you know Millie sometimes when I want to get angry at you I just can't, you have taken control over me "

Emily chuckled " I'm glad, I did the right thing I guess " she said with a smile as she caressed his cheeks.

" Don't you ever dare go close to any other guy or else I will break your legs " he warned sternly.

Emily didn't know whether to laugh or cry "  Let's go back to the movie, " she said as she got up.

He pulled her back, " I don't want to watch it anymore I just want to stay here with you " he said and began to kiss her all over her neck.

" Why are you so naughty? " Emily grumbled.

" I missed you " he breathed on her neck.

She sighs loudly " Alex, but not here " she said softly.

" Why not here? No one will come here, I'll make it quick, "  he assured her.

Emily sighs and remains silent, " good girl, " he muttered against her ear.

Hours later, Emily weakly opened her eyes, she looked around and she was in Alex's room.  She slowly sat up, and wrapped the duvet around her body.

She picked up her phone on the bedside table and she almost yelled it was already 1am in the morning. After hours of intimacy she got tired and slept off in Alex's arms.

" Gosh " she muttered as she lay back on the bed weakly.

Alexander emerged from the bathroom " why are you up so early? " He said as he walked over to the bed.

She glared at him " You drained the hell out of me last night "

" I'm so sorry, I lost control of myself " he said as he leaned over and gave her a gentle kiss.

" Don't, before you pounce on me again like a hungry wolf that has been starved " she pouted her lip.

" Baby, I'm sorry,  it was all my fault "

" Where is everyone else? " Emily asked.

" They all left a long time ago, " he said nonchalantly.

" What did you say when they asked about me ?" She demanded curiously.

" I said you fell asleep, " he said casually.

" And don't you think that's fishy? " she asked.

" Let them think whatever they want," Alexander said as he  fell on the bed.

She used her legs to push him off " get off, you are so annoying. I don't want to speak to you any longer " she said.

He chuckled and caught her leg, he pinned her on the bed " should we go for another round " he said naughtily.

Emily pushed him off, " get away from me, I'm sleepy " she muttered and turned away from him.

The following morning, they came downstairs hand in hand and Stacey glared at Emily with daggers.

Her room was just next to Alex and she heard faint sounds of moans coming from Alexander's room last night and she could swear she couldn't sleep, she had cried her eyes out last night.

" Good morning mom, " Alexander said as he placed a kiss on Mrs Miles' cheek.

She Chuckled " hope you both slept well " she said and Emily coughed.

She was certain Alexander's mom knew they both slept in the same room, she wondered what Alex's mother must be thinking of her right now.

" Yes aunty, " Emily said lowly.

" Mom, we need to leave now, tonight is the Christmas Ball, " Alexander said.

" Won't you two eat something before leaving? " Mrs Miles asked.

" We have a lot to do, we will get something to eat on our way " Alexander said nonchalantly.

" Aunty, what do you think of Emily? " Nancy whispered in Mrs Miles' ear.

" She's lovely and I guess she's the perfect match for Alex " she said with a smile.

" I will be in my room " Stacey abruptly stood up and ran upstairs.

They got outside the house and Emily said " Your mom is so sweet. "

" Not as sweet as you are, " he said as he squeezed her cheeks.

" You like doing this all the time " Emily pouted as she squeezed his cheeks back.

Stacey glared at them from her bedroom window upstairs.

HARRISON'S MANOR

" Cupcake, what are you thinking about? " Jason said as he walked over to her front.

" Hey, do you also think Alex and Millie have proceeded to the next step? '' she asked as she itched her scalp awkwardly.

" I guess so, we don't talk about stuff like that amongst ourselves, " Jason said unceremoniously.

" By the way, what are you doing? " He said as he glanced at the clothes on the bed.

" I bought a lot and I don't know which to put on tonight, I will put on anyone you choose " Isabella said happily.

He kissed her on the cheek "You look good in everything "

Isabella sighs loudly " come on, just pick one " she grumbled.

" Fine, the red one " he said and left the room.

He walked to the garden and called someone over the phone " is everything set? I don't want anything to go wrong tonight " He said before he hung up.

Andrew's Mansion

Chloe was having lunch in her room when she received a call from  Aiden.

" Hello, are you sure you are not calling the wrong number " she said immediately she picked up.

Aiden laughed " no candy, I heard you don't have a date to the Christmas Ball, how about I accompany you " he asked.

Chloe paused " and why do you want to attend it with me? " She asked quizzically.

"Fine you caught me, I want to make this girl Amica in your school jealous, she turned me down yesterday " he said sheepishly.

Chloe sigh loudly " fine, "

" Thanks candy, I owe you for this, " Aiden said.

" I should be the one saying thank you, I was bothered of being a gooseberry tonight but you saved me " Chloe said.

" Okay I need to go get ready, I will pick you up, make sure you look pretty. Muah " he blew a kiss before he hung up and Chloe chuckled.

" What a crazy dude " she muttered

AT CORNELL UNIVERSITY

A maybach slowly screeched to a halt outside the building, Jason came out of the car and opened the door for Isabella. She was putting on a maroon high slit maxi dress, her hair was styled in a side ponytail, which complimented her light makeup.

While on the other hand Jason was putting on a maroon turndown long sleeve shirt with a black tuxedo and pants.

They were both looking stunning and the other students couldn't stop staring and taking pictures of them.

" I guess you are the queen of tonight, " Jason said with a faint smile.

" Of course I have always been a queen, " she said as she chuckled softly.

They got into the hall and they stood at a corner conversing.

" I'll be back, let me go get myself a glass of wine " Jason said.

" I want one too, " Isabella said coquettishly.

Jason chuckled " I'll get you orange juice instead, " he said as he walked off.

" Hey, I also want wine, I'm not a kid " she said as she was about to go after him.

" Bella" she heard her name and she turned around.

" You look beautiful tonight" Emily complimented her with a sweet smile.

" No, you look more gorgeous, " Isabella said as they hug each other.

" Millie, Bella is right you look more gorgeous than any other lady here " Alexander said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

" No one looks prettier than my cupcake" they heard Jason's voice from behind.
