Chapter 8 : yeah see you tomorrow

Emma was the speechless one now ,she felt so stupid and embarrassed, she had the urge to bite her tongue off or look for a hole to crawl into .She knew that she must not back down now “ so what ?just because they own the shopping mall others can't buy what they like” she said confidently.

Isabella glanced at her and sneered ” is that what we said,Ms. Jackson we are not unreasonable people neither are we inconsiderate ,have been listening to your tantrums since but enough of it .If you really wanna buy the bag fine I will let you have your chance if you can pay triple the price like you just said a while ago ,that is 90 thousand dollars ,I know is a little change for a rich young Missy like you right ? “

Emma felt like killing herself ,she's not like all young rich Missy she thought to herself.

Since the day ,her parents went to Jason's house ,how they felt embarrassed made them angry with her and they took all her cards away as punishment, luckily for her she had this secret card with some few savings ,but not up to 90 thousand dollars ,she only has 64 thousand dollars,back then when she said she could pay triple the price she was just boasting,what will I do now she thought to herself.

Emma remained silent for a while before she said “ uhmm let me go make a call .” She excused herself and went to the restroom area .

She called her dad immediately and it rang for a while before he finally picked it up.

“Emma what is it again ,I hope you haven't caused any trouble ” her dad said with an unfriendly tone.

Emma gathered her courage and said “ dad I need 30 thousand dollars,I saw a bag that I like today at the mall ,I wouldn't have called you to ask for money if you didn't take all my cards.”

” Are you crazy ? Why will you buy such an expensive bag ,is not even your birthday yet,you always like wasting money is a good thing I took all your cards ,after the disgrace you caused me a few days ago you made a fool out of me in the Harrison's mansion and you call me now to ask for money, “ he yelled through the phone . ” in fact I will cut your allowance for two months. “ Then he hung up .

Emma felt like crying,thank goodness know one heard it ,she would have felt embarrassed to face anybody again. She called her friends but none of them gave  her any money ,she quickly called Ava .

“ Hey Ava,could you lend me some money ? I'm a trifle short of what I need to pay for a bag.”

” How much do you need “ Ava asked

” 30 thousand dollars “ Emma said casually

Ava was stunned. ” I am sorry I can't give you that amount of money ,my parents have been monitoring the way I spend money recently," she said. “

Emma was panicking now ” erm okay I got to go ” she quickly hung up .

She also couldn't ask Jason for money cause he might find out that she was making trouble with Isabella.

With no other choice she came out of the restroom with her head lowered.

Emma forced a smile “ Isabella you can have the bag ,I will go check for something else ,after all it's just a bag.”

This time it was Chloe who spoke up ” Emma  you said it's just a bag right, then why were you dragging it with me just now or is it because you are too poor to afford it “ she said sarcastically.

Chloe snorted and continued “ after all you don't look like a generous person ,you only know how to spout nonsense all the time .

Emma's face turned pale ,she had never felt helpless like this before. she had always been a proud person ,from today onwards she had vowed that she would stop associating with all her friends that refused to borrow her money ,if only they did Chloe wouldn't have the chance to speak to her like that .

” You both will surely pay for this , first it was Isabella who disgraced me, now you too.she stomped off angrily.

Chloe laughed that serves her right ,she's a scheming,manipulative  b*tch. Isabella smiled at her “ come on let's finish shopping am tired. ”

After shopping they went to a coffee shop downstairs inside the mall. They decided to have some tea and wait for their chauffeur.

While they were chatting and having tea ,Chloe sighted Jason and Alexander. They also saw her, and she waved at them.

Isabella was confused  “ who were you waving at ” she said.

Chloe grinned “ just turn around she said with a big smile ,when Isabella turned around she was stunned she saw Jason and Alexander approaching them.

While she was a little nervous her phone started ringing when she saw the caller ID she was delighted it was her best friend in California  Emily Anthony who was video calling her ,it's been a while they spoked she immediately picked up.

” Hey big baby B ,it's been a while, did you miss me ? That was the first thing Jason heard when he walked up to her .He didn't know why but he suddenly felt displeased,he sat next to her while Alexander sat next to Chloe.

Isabella raised her head and said hi with a smile to the both of them .

“big baby B who are you talking to huh ? ”  Emily asked.

“ Oh I was talking to my friends, they are all here, ” she said smilingly.

“erm Bella I called you because of my brother ,he misses you everyday and he wants to get back together with you ,will you please give him a chance ” Emily said.

Isabella was dumbfounded ,she couldn't even look at Jason anymore, she felt like crawling into a hole ,even though they didn't have romantic feelings for each other, but it's still weird talking about her ex in front of her fiance.

“ uhmm Emily we should talk about this some other time ,this is not the right time I gotta go now bye ” she quickly hung up.

She noticed that their table was quiet even the slightest sound could be heard.

She gathered her courage to raise her head ,she noticed everyone looking at her even her cousin Chloe she felt uncomfortable under their gazes ” hey why are all of you looking at me like that “ she said grumpily.

Jason was a little angry he didn't know why but he felt sad about what he just heard but he concealed it and said to Isabella with a smile ” why do you like eating too much sugar “, he was referring to her Boston cream pie  infront of her, he dragged it to his place and had a bite he murmured ” to sweet “ .

Isabella laughed ” stop exaggerating is not that sweet okay. “

Alexander glanced at Isabella ”Hey Isabella is this how you welcome a childhood friend you haven't seen for long “ he said pretending to be angry.

She quickly apologised ” am sorry it's all Jason's fault “ she glared at Jason and stomped on his foot.

Isabella got up from her sit and walked up to Alexander she gave him a big hug “ I missed you okay ” he also hugged her back “ when he noticed someone expression he let go of her ” I forgive you. “ he said

” thanks Alex, you are the best, '' Isabella said giggling .

Jason was so angry that he couldn't take it any longer ,he thought to himself when did Bella become a little vixen who loves to flirt around with guys ” uhmmm we need to take our leave there is some where important we need to be “ Jason said glaring at Alexander

” erm are you sure? “ Alexander said with his brows slightly raised up

” Yes, ” Jason said through gritted teeth.

Alexander quickly nodded “ oh yeah, you are right ”

Isabella smiled “ okay bye ”

“ Yeah see you tomorrow ” Jason said,he rubbed her hair then left .

After they left Chloe was chuckling she clicked her tongue “ did  you notice anything different ” she said

“ What nonsense are you talking about," Isabella said .

“ don't tell me you didn't notice the change in Jason's expression when he had about your ex and when you hugged Alexander just now  ”

“ oh I didn't take note of that ” she said nonchalantly.

Chloe was speechless her cousin had such a low EQ she thought to herself.

“ What I am trying to say is that maybe Jason has started growing fond of you, ” Chloe said .

Isabella laughed “ stop imagining things okay ,have you forgotten that Emma is his girlfriend ” she said .

“ If what I am saying is a lie ,then why did his expression change and why did he rub your hair and smile at you like that? ” Chloe said .

“ come on the chauffeur has arrived, discussion closed ” Isabella said .
