Chapter 7 : you again !

She decided to change the topic “ so Aunty Maya said you are a student of Cornell University Year two right? I will be attending the same university with you. I heard the new semester is in the next two weeks, ”she said .

He nodded “ yeah the next semester is in two weeks, I will be in year 3 by then . Jason  said

” I hope your University is good. After all, I am an A-list student, “she said confidently.

Jason chuckled ” okay miss genius “

She pouted at him ” you are not allowed to call me that “ Isabella said.

At that moment,he felt like kissing her on the lips.

When they were done eating he dropped her off at home.

Jason drove his car straight to Emma's house when he got there he called her number five times but she refused to pick his calls ,he texted her that he was downstairs.

After 3 minutes, Emma came out to meet him .

” Jason what do you want,your fiancee embarrassed me today, didn't you have enough fun ”  she said sarcastically

“ Enough of your nonsense,I didn't know that you would stoop so low if not for Bella who showed me your true colours I would have thought that you were a good person “ Jason said

” Oh yeah everything your Bella say is true right , Jason what's wrong with you it was just us before ,now you are all about Bella Bella Bella “ she said

” For your information there's nothing going on between Bella and I. I have told her about you and she's fine with our relationship. She's not going to interfere in my affairs nor will I interfere in hers,we are just putting on an act for our parents okay? And the engagement is still taking place “ Jason said .

Emma was stunned. She felt like a fool ” why didn't you tell me all this , you let me make a fool of myself in public “ she said .

” I was going to tell you but you refused my calls in the morning, I was surprised to see you at the restaurant this afternoon.he said

Jason sneered ” At least have seen your true colours,my mom was right you are just fake ,I think it's best we go our separate ways “ he said .

Emma's face turned pale and she quickly said “ no no Jason am sorry ,I behaved like that cause I love you so much and I don't want to see you with any other woman ,my jealousy got the better of me,please Jason give me a chance ” she begged.

Jason stared at her for a while then nodded “ I forgive you but this your last chance when next you try something like that or try to do something to Bella i will breakup with you ”

Emma was happy that he still cared about her and accepted her back into his life but she was sad that he was ready to break up with her for Bella. That made her hate  Bella even more.

She went forward and hugged him ,they hugged each other for a while before he let go “ I need to Meet up with a friend ”he said then left .

Emma went into her house happily then threw herself on the bed ,she quickly dialled Ava's number

“ Hey gurl, guess what? Emma said

” what's up you sound happy.Ava said

“Yeah Jason and I got back together," Emma said.

” Oh wow that's amazing news,“ Ava said.

” Uh huh,but he's still trying to protect Bella. He said if I do anything to Bella he will break up with me Emma said.

Ava thought for a while and said “ I think you should stay away from Bella for good, it's the only way your relationship with Jason will continue."

" I don't think so , I want to teach a bitch like her some manners "Emma said.

The following day

Back at the Andrew's

In Isabella's room ,Bella was reading a novel while Chloe was busy chatting with her phone.

“ Hey bell ” Chloe said

”what ?“ Isabella replied

” When are we going shopping ? Tomorrow is Jason's Grandma's birthday banquet? “ Chloe said.

She continued ” You need to outshine everyone,after all you are their future daughter-in-law, you know you always dress like a girl next door ,please am begging you don't disgrace the Andrew family, we are not poor people okay . Chloe said

Isabella glared at her with an icy look “ I don't feel like shopping, I have some dresses that I haven't wore before, stop acting as if is my wedding  she said ”

Chloe stuck out her tongue at Isabella “ right right my bad, sorry,

don't blame me if Emma Jackson end up stealing the spotlight ” she said.

While Isabella was hesitating her mom Mrs Andrew came in .

“girls we have been invited to attend Jason's grandma 80th birthday banquet tomorrow ” she said

“ Aunty has already told Bella a long time ago," Chloe said giggling.

Mrs Andrew sighs ” you want to be a singer right? I think you should think it through ,you will make a good newscaster " she said .

They all laughed ,Mrs Andrew glanced over at Bella

“ Bell I think you and Chloe should go for  shopping don't say no okay ,we need to get some gifts too we can't go empty handed ” Mrs Andrew said

Isabella thought for a while then nodded “ alright I think we should leave now ”

Chloe was excited “ yay finally” she said.

Isabella got dressed and went downstairs with Chloe, the chauffeur was already prepared waiting outside for them,they got into the car and they drove off.

While they were in the car Chloe asked “ bell you haven't told me what happened at Jason's house the day his mom called you over ” she said .

Isabella thought for a while “ nothing happened, we just went to a steakhouse for lunch ” she said .

She couldn't tell Chloe that she met Emma and she hit the latter .

When they arrived at the shopping mall Chloe said to Isabella “ l want to get a new purse she dragged Isabella to a shop inside the mall.

The sales woman welcomed them in

” Welcome misses ,we have a lot of designer brands which you would like.”

“ I love this bag ,it's so beautiful ,how much is it? ” Chloe asked the store female staff

” Which one are you talking about ma'am? ”the saleswoman said.

Before Chloe could touch the bag someone grabbed it quickly ,when Chloe saw the person's face ,she was stunned it was Emma who picked the bag,Chloe was instantly angry.

“ Hey I first you,you know I wanted to buy it that's why you grabbed it first isn't it ?”

Before Emma could speak she had noticed Isabella walking towards them “ you again ! ” Emma said.

When she was walking past the store she sighted Chloe ,she knew Chloe was Isabella's cousin sister she felt angry so she walked into the store to bully Chloe she hadn't noticed Isabella at that time .

She was surprised that Isabella was also here. She remembered what Isabella did to her at the restaurant the other day ,which made her even angrier.

“ Yeah me again, ” Isabella said with a mean smile.

Emma didn't feel intimidated, she wanted to teach Isabella and her cousin a lesson today  “ Chloe I don't know what you are talking about ,I saw it and I like it and I grabbed it , I think you should choose something else ,cause I love this bag .Miss how much it is ?  ” she said .

“ It's 30 thousand dollars,miss should I pack it up for you .The sales woman sounded happy .

Pack up my ass she thought to herself.

Emma was dumbfounded. Her expression changed slightly, but she got to save face for herself because Isabella was standing there,even though she knew that she's about to spend her 3 month allowance .Her family is rich but can not be compared to the Andrew's.

She brought out her card with her chin proudly high .

At that time the manager came, when she saw Isabella and Chloe she smiled at them ” Ms. Andrew what a pleasant surprise ,you should have informed me about your arrival , thankfully I came in at the right time.“

” Come on have your sit , Olivia go get some refreshment for them" .the manager said .

Emma was infuriated ” hey miss manager ,why didn't you get any refreshments or special treatment for me ,after all I am a regular customer here. “

Emma knows that her family wealth can not be compared to that of Isabella's ,but her family is still rich .

”oh Ms Jackson when did you arrive “ the manager said with a smile

Emma felt like beating the manager to death , ” have been here for like half an hour “ she said through gritted teeth.

The manager did not even reply but turned to Isabella , ”  Ms. Andrew, is there any of our bags that you like“  , Isabella pointed at the bag that Emma was holding .

The manager clicked her tongue ”Oh that ,I must say you have good eyes, “ then she turned to look at Emma who was standing there looking extremely angry “ Ms. Jackson I think you should pick something else.”

” No, I picked this bag first and am not giving it to anyone, “ Emma said.

” Then I am sorry we can't sell it to you, cause Ms. Andrew took a liking to that bag. “ the manager said bitterly.

Emma was bewildered “ why? Am I not a person ? I come here frequently. Do you remember that? Is it about money? I will double the price or even triple it ,I am also rich, you know that .

The Manager  was speechless ” Don't you know that this shopping mall belongs to Andrew's. “
