Chapter 76: I know you are awake

“ I think I have what might help,” Chantal said, wiping the tears from her face.

“ and what's that?” Isabella asked.

“ You see, Caleb and I used to communicate on the phone alot and I recorded most of our conversations hoping to find the courage to report everything to the police but I couldn't,I was being much of a coward ”she said sadly.

“ Great, that will also help. What else do you have? ” Jason asked.

“ I have nothing else ” she said as she shook her head.

Isabella smiled “ even the bruises on her body can be used as evidence,You even have the pictures of Chantal and Caleb when they were at the suburbs” she said.

Jason nodded “ that's right. Look Bella we have to make everything look real okay? We have evidence against him and we know where Chantal's brother is being held. I don't want Caleb to suspect that we will make a move when Caleb is really convinced that we are in a fight. By then he would have been relaxed and he won't see a thing coming” he said.

Isabella nodded, “ So what should I do?” she asked.

“ You need to move in back with Chloe for a while, that will help in convincing him ” Jason said and Bella pouted sadly.

“I don't want to be away from you. Don't you get it?” she said.

“ Just for some days, okay I promise it won't take long, we need to send Caleb to jail" Jason said and she nodded reluctantly.

“Come here, ” he said as he pulled her into his embrace.

“ I hope he doesn't have any spy who watches your every move” Jason asked.

“ No, he knew I wouldn't try to betray him because what I love the most is in his custody ” she said confidently.

“ Then I guess you should be more careful because I am fully aware that he will become suspicious this time around," Jason said sternly and she nodded.

“ and you bella we shouldn't communicate at all for now okay?” Jason said and she pushed him away.

“ I don't want to anyway” she said and started walking away.

“ Are you for real or have you started acting?”he asked and she turned around.

“ It's real! ” she snorted and left the classroom while olivia ran after her.

“ So it is settled then,”Jason said.

At The Andrew's Mansion

Isabella pulled her luggage as she got into the living room and proceeded upstairs with an angry look on her face.

Chloe and Maria stared at each other in confusion. “ What's wrong with Bella? Did she even see us?” Maria asked and Chloe shrugged her shoulders.

“ I'm also confused,” Chloe said.

“ Go take a look, I'm sure she must have gotten into a big fight with Jason, ” Maria said.

“ arghh! These two are always getting into a fight these days ” Chloe said as she rose from her seat and headed up the stairs.

She knocked gently before pushing the door open “ Bella, what's going on? ” she asked.

“ You want to know, then I suggest you give Jason a call ”she said furiously and went back to her luggage and started unpacking.

“ Just spill it out, I'm sure you feel better afterwards,” Chloe suggested.

“you wanna know? Jason believed that I was the one who sent thugs to beat up Chantal because he thinks I am jealous ” Isabella said.

“ what?I don't think Jason is that naive to believe what comes out from that bitch” Chloe said.

“ uh huh ” she said and suddenly brought out a brown dress.

She went into the bathroom and came out shortly already putting on the brown gown.

“ and are you going somewhere?” Chloe asked.

“ Yes, ” she nodded as she applied her lipstick.

“ to see Jason?” Chloe asked.

Isabella snorted “ why would I? " He refused to believe me. I'm going off to see Caleb” she said and adjusted her dress.

“ Like this? Are you sure you don't have any mission? This dress is so short and sexy. What are you trying to do ” Chloe couldn't help but ask.

“ Nothing, just going out to chill with him, ” she said and grabbed her bag.

Chloe brought out her phone and gave Jason a call “ is Isabella crazy? She just went out to meet Caleb ” she said over the phone.

“ Are you sure about what you are saying? ” Jason asked.

“ of course she said you two are in a fight” Chloe said with her brows furrowed.

“ Yes we are and she can go wherever she wants to, she's not my wife, ” Jason said and hung up.

“wow!” Chloe said as she walked back to the living room, completely minding her business.

SNOWFLAKE CLUB ,PRIVATE ROOM

“ Bella stop crying, Jason doesn't deserve you” Caleb said as he patted her shoulder.

Isabella wiped her fake tears “ you are right Caleb, I do deserve better, he chose to believe Chantal over me ” she said.

“ I think they might be having an affair,” Caleb said as he smirked a little.

“I think so too once my mom gets back I will tell her I don't want to get married to him anymore” Isabella said as she sniffed.

“ By the way you look so pretty and hot tonight ” he said as his gaze travelled to her  exposed thighs.

“ I do?” She asked as she sipped on her drink.

“ Yes, you have always been this pretty . I wish we could go back to the days when we were together” Caleb said.

“ Really,” Isabella asked as she placed her chin on her palm. She brought out her phone and took a selfie.

”LOL here to drown myself in my sorrow “ she captioned the picture.

Before she could drop her phone she received a call from Jason, she smirked in satisfaction.

He must have seen the selfies she took,she made sure Caleb was in the background.

” Who is calling? “ Caleb asked as he sipped his wine.

” oh…. It's just Chloe“ she lied and switched off her cellphone.

” This colour looks good, “ Caleb said.

” What colour?“ she asked quizzically.

” I mean the colour of your lipstick“ he said as he used his index finger to swipe her lips,and took in the scent.

”It smells like chocolate,“ Caleb muttered.

”Okay Bella, things are getting weird “ she thought inwardly.

” Here, have some more wine,“ he said as he filled her glass up.

” Thanks, ” she said with a faint smile.

“ I would do anything for you Bella, ” Caleb said and chuckled softly.

“ Come on, drink up, ” he said as she stared at him.

Isabella drank out of it. She suddenly felt his hand on her thighs. “ Just chill, okay” he said and she smiled as she pushed his hands away.

She could feel her head spinning a little “ I'm so tired, my head is spinning really badly” she said as she pouted sadly.

“ Come, I can take you to the other floor to get some rest,” Caleb said as he helped her up.

“really? ” she mumbled as he held her waist for support.

“ Yeah, carefully,” he said as they took the stairs.

They got to the room by the left and he pushed it open, he helped her lay on the bed.

“ You can leave now, I will be fine, ” she said as she closed her eyes.

He smirked and drew nearer to her and kissed her on the neck “what are you doing?” Isabella said and poke him in the eyes.

“ ouch!! ” he groaned as he stepped back while holding his eyes.

Isabella smiled delightfully, she knew he had drugged her right from the time she drank out of it.

“ ouch!! Bella, why did you do that? ” he said a little angrily.

“ do what my head is hurting” she said and started crying.

“ I'm sorry it's my mistake, ” he said quickly.

“ Bella, you look really good, do you know that ?” he said as he threaded his hands from her legs to her thighs.

“ stop!! '' she said as she acted languidly.

Just then Jason barged in, he pulled Caleb away from her roughly.

Caleb lost his balance and fell to the ground. “ What are you trying to do to her huh?” Jason roared angrily.

“ What's your problem? She had too much wine to drink and I brought her here to rest and you are asking me this question, ” Caleb said.

“ And you are touching her thighs? It's that part of helping her you pervert” Jason shot back.

“ What are you even doing here? Bella doesn't want you, you should go to your girl Chantal. Weren't you with her before coming here” Caleb said with a smirk.

“ You scoundrel,you better watch your tongue” Jason warned him and walked over to the bed.

He lifted Isabella up and carried her bridal style. They got outside of the club and he gently placed her on the passenger seat.

He started the car, and she took a secret glimpse of him, he looked really angry.

“ I know you are awake,” Jason said as he concentrated on the road.

“ I…I am sorry, I did all that so you would come see me and to acquire more evidence against Caleb '' she said.

“ And who assigned you the job? I told you I got this but you wouldn't listen ” Jason said.

The car came to a halt and they were already at Andrew's mansion.

“ Get down, ” he said and she stood still.
