Chapter 74: crazy driver!

“ We should do this some other time, ” Isabella said as they all walked out of the cinema.

“ as long as the guys will get the chance to pick the movie next time ” Alexander said casually as he jammed his hands to his pocket while Nancy was still holding onto him.

“ Alex, it's getting late, we need to get home before aunt and uncle start to get worried, ” Nancy said.

“ Alright we will leave now ” Alexander said softly as he touched her cheeks.

“ Guys, we have to head home now, ” Alexander said to the rest.

They said their Goodbyes and watched them get into the car and drive away.

Emily stood there in confusion; everything felt like a dream to her. She felt like a lump was stuck in her throat.

“ Why am I feeling hurt, isn't this what I wanted? ” she said inwardly.

Back at Alexander's car

Nancy turned to him with a smug smile on her face without saying a word.

“ Okay, why are you smiling like that? ” he asked, still concentrating on the road.

“ Tell me, is she the girl you like? ” Nancy asked.

“ What are you talking about? ” he said with a frown.

“ oh please stop pretending, you said you were over her but I caught you stealing some glances of her when she wasn't looking ” Nancy said.

“ Emily is really beautiful and sweet though. I want her as my sister in-law ” Nancy said with a loud sigh.

“ If you speak about her one more time I will drop you on the highway right now, ” he said sternly.

Nancy's mouth snapped shut immediately, not daring to take any chances.

Alexander sigh silently he had thought it was easy to forget about her but he was wrong he couldn't even ignore her presence. He just hopes he doesn't get to see her often before he fully loses his mind.

Cornell University,in the girls dorm. Chantal came out of the bathroom in a towel.

She heard her phone ringing, glancing at the caller ID her heart skipped a beat, after great hesitation she finally picked up.

“ …hello” she stuttered nervously.

“ Chantal you really have nerves now huh? Don't forget your younger brother is still in my custody ” Caleb said coldly over the phone.

“Please I'm begging you, please spare his life. I will do anything it takes to tear them apart. ” Chantal wept over the phone.

“ Shut the crap,do you think your stupid tears will make me have mercy on you ” he yelled furiously over the phone.

Chantal couldn't speak, she could only sob bitterly.

“ Come and see me at our usual place tomorrow at 3pm ” Caleb said and hung up.

The following morning, Isabella woke up and gently removed Jason's arm that was wrapped around her waist.

“ This jerk doesn't listen, he keeps stressing his injured arm. He thinks if his hand gets amputated I will still be with him ” she snorted as she successfully got up.

Jason smirked with his eyes closed. He was only pretending to be asleep.

Isabella came out after some time in a towel, the steam from taking a bath made her cheeks all rosy, her hair was damp and stuck to her face.

She picked up the hand dryer to blow dry her hair,when she suddenly felt a hand on top of hers.

“ I will do it, ” Jason said nonchalantly, pulling the hand dryer from her grip.

She could only look at the reflection of Jason through the mirror who was busy drying her hair up.

He threaded his fingers into her hair carefully. Isabella smiled as she watched the serious look on his face.

“ Your arm is injured, bring it here, ” she said after some time.

“ don't worry my arm has recovered, I can manage” he ignored her palm that was stretched out towards him and continue with his work.

“ Your hair is very long, ” he said with a frown.

Isabella laughed “ just bring it,I will do it myself or do you want me to cut my hair so you will dry it up for me everytime ” she said.

“ That sounds like a wonderful idea, ” he said with a poker expression.

Isabella quickly let out a laugh “ nah I was just kidding I don't plan to cut my hair ” she said.

“ I want our little princess' hair to be just like yours, ” Jason said.

Isabella froze for a while “ which little princess? ” she asked.

Jason turned off the hand dryer and leaned over to her.“ Our future daughter ” he whispered into her ear.

Isabella felt like a current passed through her body.

“ Of course she will be as cute as I am, ” she said with a faint smile after calming down.

“ Why don't we make her now, ” he said, kissing her neck.

She didn't dare to move around too much. She was only wrapped in a towel. She had thought he was asleep a while ago that was why she took the risk.

“ It's too early to make her now, ” she said hastily.

“ I can't wait to see my little  princess any longer, ” Jason said, caressing her cheeks.

When did he become so good at twisting words and saying shameless stuff? She said inwardly not realising his hands were around her towel.

She quickly slapped his hand away “ I'm late for school” she said and got up to the locker room to change.

After classes Isabella came back home tiredly. After having lunch she went into the study to read for their exams for the semester.

She received a call from Olivia. " Gosh Bella, I'm so tired,are these professors trying to kill us? It's just too much" she said.

"Stop exaggerating it's not that bad okay just calm down" Isabella said as she rolled her eyes.

"Alright, I will hang up now," Olivia said.

"Bye," Isabella replied.

She was immersed in her book, and didn't realise Jason had come into the study.

He walked over with light footsteps wrapping his arms around her neck.

She turned around and smiled at him, “ what are you doing? ” she asked.

“ aren't you tired? You have been reading for more than 2 hours now ” Jason asked.

“ I know right, I just enjoy studying, ” she said with a long sigh.

“I missed you but I guess you don't feel the same way “ he said to her.

”  I was just occupied with this. I will be done soon,“she replied.

”Okay I will go get you some juice “ he said and headed out of the study.

He returned shortly with a glass of orange juice.

” Here you go“ he said, placing it gently on the table and he took the seat next to hers.

” thanks darling “ she replied and drank out of it.

She turned to look in his direction and he suddenly conquered her lips.

She tried to withdraw her lips from his but he refused to let go. He shoved his tongue into her mouth trying to gain more entrance.

The taste of the orange flavour mixed together as their tongues intertwined.

He pulled out from her as their breaths became rough.

”cupcake let's go to our room “ he said in a husky voice as he lifted her up in a bridal style.

They went into the room and she could only stare at him with her watery big grape-like eyes.

The following morning Isabella yawned as she got up from bed she glanced at the wall clock and she gasped from shock.

” oh my gosh “she half yelled.

Jason weakly opened his eyes as he rubbed them ” what's wrong “he asked.

”I'm almost late for my exams, ” she said as she ran into the bathroom.

After getting prepared she was about to go downstairs but Jason held her arm “ relax I will drop you myself ” he said and she nodded.

Jason drove and Isabella shot him a deadly glare "are you kidding me? Why are you driving like an old granny" she asked.

Jason scoffed loudly "what are you trying to say? Weren't you the one who said I should stop driving fast?" He said.

" Okay that was then, I take back my words" she said immediately.

" I can't, I'm now a law abiding citizen" he said sternly.

" I hate you, why are you annoying? Stop the car" she said quickly and Jason did as she had said.

" Come out " Isabella said as she got down from the car.

" Don't tell me you want to….." Jason said and she cut him off

" Yes I want to drive, give me the keys" she said as she stretched her palm forward.

" You said you didn't know how to drive," he reminded her.

"Just give it to me" she said and took the keys from him.

" Friendly reminder, as long as I am the driver I will advise you to buckle your seatbelt" she said with a smile and Jason did as she had said.

She stopped on the accelerator furiously,and they began to move at full speed.

Jason was stunned " are you crazy? You just run across a red light? " Jason said.

"It's better than watching you drive like a granny" she said as she suddenly stepped on the brakes.

“ don't you have exams today?” she asked as they arrived in school.

Jason looked outside the window and they were already in school “ I do but till noon ” he replied after recovering from shock.

"How did you do it…." He couldn't help but ask.

“I took a short cut and I ran across several red lights, I don't have time to chat with you” she said about getting down, he cupped her cheeks and gave her a light kiss on the lips.

“ Good luck, ” Jason said.

"And good luck to you too, I hope you get home safely" she giggled and got down from the car.

"What a crazy driver I hope the cops won't trail me down" he murmured.

She rushed quickly to the department and luckily they were just about to share the  papers.

She took a seat with Olivia “ you are almost late, what happened?” she asked.

“ oh I was reading and I slept off late ” she lied as her gaze flickered.

Soon Isabella was done with the exams she sat outside the department waiting for Liam and Olivia.

She raised her head from her phone when she noticed footsteps approaching her.

“ Gosh, I feel like my whole blood has been drained by those questions ” Olivia said as she sat next to Isabella spreading her legs wide.

Isabella shook her head “ those questions were too simple I think the professional decided to have mercy on us” she said.

Olivia pursed her lip “ do you think everyone is as smart as you are right?”she asked.
