Chapter 6 :Then you leave me with no choice

Isabella went downstairs to wait for him in the living room,while she was waiting with her cheeks flushed ,Mrs Harrison walked up to her "Bella why are your cheeks so red. "

Bella was stunned she hadn't taken note of that and she stammered " I..I am..am feeling hot " she lied.

Mrs Harrison chuckled " is okay, I understand, you two should not go too far ,after all you are still a student." she said

Isabella blushed again she was feeling embarrassed ,what was Aunty Maya thinking she thought to herself.

Mrs Harrison continue " have you talked to Jason for me " she said

" Oh yeah, he's in a better mood now,I talked to him and he agreed to eat with me ,oh look his coming " she said.

" That's good you have started fulfilling your duties as his wife "Mrs Harrison said jokingly.

Jason walked up to Isabella " erm are you done talking? "

" Yeah let's go " she said ," bye aunty " she waved at Jason mom.

" Bye baby " Mrs Harrison said with a smile. They look so perfect together Jason's mother thought to herself.

In a steakhouse in New York

Ava was having lunch with Emma while listening to Emma's tantrums

" Girl, I don't know what to do anymore," Emma said.

" I think you should just move on without Jason he's not the only outstanding guy in NY you know right, after all you are pretty ,charming and comes from a rich family,anyone will be lucky to have you " ava said .

" Ava, I think you don't understand. I love Jason with all my heart.I can do anything to get him. I can't lose him to that Isabella girl , he was mine first she snatched him from me ".Emma said.

She continued " I wish I could get my hands on that Isabella girl. I will show her who calls the shots, who she thinks she is, " she said .

Ava didn't know what to say ,she was tired of listening to Emma's love life.

"So what are you gonna do next? " Ava asked.

" You know last night I attended a birthday banquet. Everyone who knew that I was together with Jason came to ask me about his engagement. I felt totally embarrassed,when I went to use the washroom I heard some girls saying vicious words about me ". She said her eyes started tearing up a little

" Ava I really don't know what to do ,the most painful part is that since the time I left Jason's house he never called me for once ,he didn't check on me, he said his mom is the one forcing him I believed him at first but not anymore I feel like his happy about it. " Emma said.

Ava sigh " don't go to hard on yourself"

Before Emma could speak ,Ava was shocked by what she saw ,she quickly interrupted her " turn around " Ava said

When Emma turned around she was dumbfounded. She saw Jason and Isabella walking in gisting and laughing.

She felt like someone was piercing her heart,she found it difficult to breathe, that means what she said was true, Jason is happy with Isabella she had guessed it but she didn't want to see it .she felt her eyes tearing up again .

Ava looked at her worriedly, " I think we should leave before they see us ." Ava said concernedly.

Emma wiped her tears and said to Ava " I am going up to say hi to them " after that she stood up and walked towards them.

Ava knew that she wasn't going over to say a simple " hi " to them; she started feeling nervous before Emma lost control of herself.

While she was in thought Emma had already reached Jason and Isabella's table.

" Hi Jason" she said .when Isabella had her voice she turned her head to look at Emma ,when Emma saw Isabella's face she was a little stunned she didn't expect the latter to have such delicate features , Isabella was wearing a blue jeans and a baby pink knitted sweater setting off her snow-white skin showing her perfect figure and full breast,she had long black shiny hair which was styled in a bun, Isabella blinked her blue eyes looking a little confused.

When Emma saw them coming in she hadn't taken note of Isabella's looks. But now that they are facing each other the difference was as clear as Heaven and Earth.

Instantly Emma was overwhelmed with rage,she felt envious of Isabella after all the latter was prettier than her who was wearing makeup.

Jason too was surprised to see her ,he frowned slightly " Emma what are you doing here " he said

" I was having lunch with Ava over there and I saw you walk in with your beautiful fiance. She turned to look at Isabella '' you must be Isabella right? Nice meeting you, Jason's ex-girlfriend. We just broke up" she said nonchalantly.

Isabella was dumbfounded. She has never met anyone as shameless and straightforward like Emma.she was even speechless.

Emma continued " I hope you know that you are the reason why we broke up , our relationship was perfect before you showed up and snatched him away from me ,the Andrew's are so rich ,am sure you must have everything you ever wanted but why Jason? Or is Ms. Andrew a filthy slut " she said.

This time Isabella was angry no one has ever dared to talk to her like this " Miss Emma pls mind your language " she said through gritted teeth"

Jason was angry too " Emma you better apologise now " he glared at her icily.

Emma felt a little intimidated by the way he looked at her ,she had never seen him that angry before.she thought to herself it's because he loves Isabella,that made her even more angry and confident.

Emma chuckled  " what will you do if I don't mind my language " she said unceremoniously, to Isabella.

" Then you leave me with no choice " Isabella abruptly stood up and gave Emma two heavy slaps on the face, pah..pah .Then she poured her glass of juice on Emma's face.

The onlookers where all supporting Emma while condemning Isabella

" She's so shameless she snatched that young lady's boyfriend and she has the guts to hit her and pour juice on her " a lady said.while the others nodded siding with what the lady said.

Both Emma and Jason were astonished by her act ,Emma stammered " you.. you how dare you hit me" she said sobbingly.

Ava quickly came over before Emma kept disgracing herself publicly .After all some people had already gathered around.

Jason she hit me and you didn't say anything, you have to prove your love to me ,I want you to....

Before she could finish Jason interrupted her " that serves you right,you were being unreasonable, this is the first time you have seen your true colours "he said.

Emma's face turned pale instantly " I didn't hit her ,I was only talking to her ,after all everything I said was true ,she could have done the same, why did she have to hit me " she said .

Isabella snorted " cause you deserved it ,if you say anything bad about me ,I will do it again and again,you said I snatched Jason from you he was mine first before you even dreamt of meeting him,his going to my fiance not yours so who's the slut now "she said cheekily .

After Isabella said that ,the onlookers knew that they had misunderstood the situation,so they wisely kept quiet and continued watching.

Emma felt her knees go weak,she felt humiliated, Isabella was right after all. Emma became silent.

Ava quickly pulled Emma away.

After they left , Isabella sat back on her seat and continued eating as if nothing had happened.

Jason was speechless. This was the first time he had seen this side of her. All those years they spent together he knew Bella as an innocent ,calm and pure hearted girl who always avoided troubles and violence ,even after meeting her again he thought she hadn't changed at all.

She glanced at his surprised expression " your girlfriend is so crazy didn't you explain things to her that we are only putting on a show for the elders and we have nothing going between us .

Jason remained silent, Isabella glanced at him and sighs " won't you go chase after her before she dies of BP ?Hey stop looking at me like that she said .

He was still silent. She raised her head to look him in the eye. She said with a soft voice " I am sorry for the way I spoke to your girlfriend. She said mean things about me. I couldn't just stand by and watch her ,I hope you understand. " she said .

This time Jason reacted quickly " wow you are so amazing Bella he gave her a thumbs up, you are the first person to set Emma straight, I love this side of you , I owe you lunch he said."

This time it was Isabella who was speechless.she hit his girlfriend and he wants to buy her lunch,if Emma heard this she would vomit blood she thought in her head.

" Are you okay? " she asked.i just hit your girlfriend and you are complimenting me for it ,do you really love her ? She asked.

Jason snorted " just because she's my girlfriend I won't let her do whatever she likes ,she said something bad so she had to bear the consequences of her actions " he said seriously.

Isabella thought for a while then nodded ,he was right anyway.
