so arrogant! “ Isabella said before coming downstairs.

Jason also came downstairs for breakfast, he wasn't looking his best he really looked like he had a rough night. Mrs Harrison almost laughed ” hehe this kids are something else. I have to do something about it once again “ she thought to herself.

Isabella was glad to see him like this; it wasn't as if she stopped him from sleeping on the bed he chose to sleep on the sofa. She glanced at him and suddenly felt delighted.

Zoey was even the happiest when she saw him in a bad mood. She couldn't contain her joy” that serves you right! “ she murmured.

” What did you say? “ Mrs Harrison asked her.

” Oh, I said the food tasted delicious today, “ Zoey said with a charming smile.

Mrs Harrison knew her daughter better than anyone she heard what Zoey said she was only pretending. ” is the usual food we eat everyday and as long as I can remember you always complain about the taste “ Mrs Harrison said.

Zoey chuckled, ” Maybe today's weather feels different, don't you think today is a great day Mom “ said Zoey. She was also glad that her brother was ready to withdraw his charges against Emma.

After breakfast, Zoey gave her mom a peck on the cheek ” mom am off to go see chris“ she said and walked out.

Isabella went back upstairs to Jason's room and she was feeling extremely bored. She picked up her phone and started playing games.

Jason came into the room and walked over to her ” I want to speak to you“ he said nonchalantly.

Isabella paused her game and raised her head to look at him. ” I am listening, “ she said with a serious tone.

” Yesterday I received a call from Emma's dad. He asked me to Come over so I went. As you know he called me because of Emma's so we came to a conclusion which is am withdrawing the charges against Emma. “ Jason said.

Isabella chuckled sarcastically ” so? Why are you telling me? What do you want me to say? “ she couldn't help but yell. She felt like she might run mad soon enough because of Jason.

” I am not done. Wait just list……..“ Jason said.

Isabella raised her hand in the air ” enough Jason! I know I don't mean anything to you. You don't need to explain anything to me. You feel like you are the boss of me so you could make any decisions regarding my life.“ she said and left the room.

Jason cursed ” fuck!“ why is it that he couldn't have a normal conversation with Isabella? Anytime they try to converse it never ends well ” he picked up his keys and drove out.

Isabella was in the garden as she watched his car zoom off. “ I am really tired of jason. Isabella, why are you such a fool? You have been thinking on how to confess your love to this scumbag but he doesn't even care about you ” she said as tears swamped up her eyes.

She really didn't understand the way Jason's mind works.

Sometimes she feels like they are so close to being together and sometimes she feels like they are miles away apart from each other. There's no progress in the relationship. She had been trying really hard to conceal her feelings for him.

“ Jason I must learn to stop loving you even though it will cause me so much pain. You mean everything to me but I mean nothing to you ” Isabella muttered as she wiped her tears that were about to slide down her cheeks. “ I am done trying,” she said and went back to the house.

In a clubhouse in New York

Jason was having a drink with Alexander at a golf course. Jason suddenly removed his sunglasses. Alexander couldn't take his gaze off Jason like it was his first time meeting him.

“ dude stop looking at me like that ” Jason said as he shot Alexander a look.

“ bro what happened to you, you don't look too good today. Did you have a good time with sister-in-law last night? Alexander teased him.

Jason looked at him with a piercing gaze Alexander felt like the room temperature was getting hot. He swallowed his saliva before chuckling ” haha! Just kidding“ he said wiping the sweat  on his forehead.

Jason told him everything that transpired between Isabella and him. ” dude what do you think?“ Jason asked. He seriously doesn't understand Isabella anymore; he feels like she's getting more complicated.

Alexander shook his head in realisation ” whoa this alot bro. Let's set all this aside. Do you perhaps have feelings for Isabella?“ Alexander asked.

” I really don't know dude,“ Jason said with confusion written all over his handsome face.

” Okay let me ask you this questions, you have to be honest. If you feel at least 5 of the things I'm about to mention then I am sure you are definitely in love with her. “ Alexander said.

” First,you always want to see her, second, you always think about her, third you are upset anytime you see her with another guy, fourth you might suddenly  find some part of her pretty. Fifth you care about if she's happy or not. Sixth you can't watch other people hurt her seventh you…….

“ enough stop!  '' the more he listened the more he felt his heart pounding faster. He froze for awhile “ he was indeed in love with Isabella '' he said inwardly.

Alexander smiled as he crossed his arm over his chest “ so? Tell me what's the result?“ He knew long ago that Jason was definitely in love with Isabella; he just needed someone to guide him.

Jason could hardly believe it but deep down he knew it was true. The thought of him being in love with Isabella has been running through his mind ever since the night that Isabella got drunk. He had never tried getting close to any other girl in that way even when he was still together with Emma he had never felt like getting close to her.

He almost lost control of himself that night. That was the reason why he was angry the following morning. He hated himself for almost taking advantage of her drunken state, luckily for him she didn't remember anything about that night. But now after all Alexander said,it did make sense that's why he had the impulse of getting closer to her.

Jason couldn't contain his happiness ” I think I should go talk to her about it “ he said as he hastily rose to his feet.

Alexander quickly pulled him back ” hey! hey! hey! dude calm down you might scare her away. You are now sure of your feelings for her but you don't know how she feels about you “ Alexander said to him.

Jason thought and realised that Alexander was making a point. ” What if she doesn't feel the same way about me? '' his mood suddenly fell. He didn't want to even think about that possibility.

Alexander was certain that Isabella had feelings for Jason for a long time. He didn't want to tell Jason about it; he wanted him to suffer a little so it wouldn't be unfair for Bella. He just hopes that Isabella won't accept him that easily. He should also go through a lot of pain so he will be able to cherish Isabella for his entire lifetime.

“ bro don't get all worked up. I think you should just start all over again with her.  Just take it gently so you won't scare her away ” Alexander suggested.

For the first time in his life, he suddenly felt like this was the most sensible thing Alexander had said as his best friend. Alexander was right if he goes to her now and tells her that he loves her Isabella might freak out.

Jason nodded his head “ I will just take things slowly then ” he said in a soft tone.
