Chapter 110: Where did Bella go?

After an hour, the car came to a halt and the gates automatically opened and they drove straight right in. Emily sat up from Alexander's chest as she stared at this beautiful sight. All she could see clearly was the beautiful lit up villa as everywhere had turned dark.

" Wow!! " She couldn't help but exclaim.

" Alex, why are we here? " she turned to him.

The car finally came to a halt " You like it here , don't you? Come let's go inside " he said and they both got out of the car.

He held onto her hand as they strolled into the house, he pushed the door open and the living room was well furnished. She stood there as her eyes went all over the place. A maid walked over to them " welcome Sir and Ma'am " she bowed slightly.

" Wait a minute,Alex, is this your house? '' she asked as she cocked a brow in surprise.

" No it's your house," he chuckled softly as he brought out a paper from a drawer and gave it to her.

Emily took them as her eyes widened in shock " you put the house in my name? When did you do all of this? " She mumbled.

" I planned all this from the very first day I met you, I was really crazy about you from first sight when I met you at Isabella's and Jason's engagement party and something told me you will be my girl and look at us now " he chuckled and Emily felt really sweet.

" I love you so much hunny " Emily hugged him.

" I love you more baby " Alexander sucked on her neck.

" You must be exhausted, you can look around the house tomorrow " he said and picked her up in a bridal style.

They went into one of the rooms upstairs. It was clearly a master's bedroom from first glance due to the largeness and king-sized bed.

" This is our room, do you like it? I ask them to design it to your taste. " He said.

" Yes I love it, it has my favourite colours " she said as she looked into his eyes.

He gently placed her on the bed and began to take off his clothes and Emily bit her lip hard. He wrapped a towel around his waist and headed into the bathroom.

He came out shortly already in his pyjamas, " Millie everything you need is in the bathroom " he said nonchalantly as he lay on his side of the bed.

Emily took her bath and noticed he was ready to sleep. She played with her fingers as she approached him. " Alex, is this how we are going to spend our wedding night? " She arched her brows.

" What do you want? " He relaxed his hands on his head as he leaned on the headboard.

Emily shut her eyes " let's do it tonight " she managed to say.

Alexander sat up immediately, " you mean we should….." he said with a mischievous smile.

Emily blushed crimson and she bobbed her head. " Don't you want to? " She asked like a whisper.

He got up, and he began to caress her cheeks " I can never get tired of you, I'm so addicted to your body " he whispered into her ear and Emily felt goosebumps all over her body.

In the middle of their intimacy, Emily suddenly fell asleep. His expression turned slightly dark, he pursed his lips as he stared at her sleepy face. He sighs and lays next to her as he endured the sounds of her snoring.

" How could a young pretty lady snore like an old woman?" That was the exact thought running through his mind.

ANDREW'S MANSION

It was dawn again, Isabella luggage was already packed up by Lucy. She freshened up and came down for breakfast with her mom before going to the airport.

The mother and daughter sat down eating their food, Chloe came down with her head bowed slightly. " Bella, I want to wish you a safe flight. I'm going to miss you and I want to say thank you alot for standing by me " Chloe said in tears as she gave Isabella a hug.

Isabella hugged her back " you will be just fine without me Chloe, just think like I was never here " she smiled.

" Bella you don't get it at all, " Chloe said in tears as she rushed upstairs.

Isabella was about to go after her but Mrs Andrew reminded her about their flight " we need to leave now Chloe will be fine " she said nonchalantly.

" Aunt, please explain things to Chloe, she needs to understand things from my own view " Isabella said to Maria before leaving with her mother.

Chloe watched from upstairs as the car took away from the house. She never knew she would miss Isabella this much; she wondered what will become of Jason once he finds out Bella left for good.

On their way to the airport every single road and street reminded her of Jason. All the memories she had with him came surging up again and she shut her eyes tight as she let her tears fall freely.

She sighs silently as she wipes her tears, there was suddenly a hold up on their way to the airport. She stared outside the window in daze. Mrs Andrew glanced at her with a soft look, she looked at her watch their flight was less than 15 minutes from now.

" What's going on? " She asked the driver.

" Ma'am a bus broke down on the road, but it seems they have called for a tow truck, let's wait a bit " the driver suggested.

" Mom, tell him to take another route, I don't want us to miss our flight, " Isabella said coldly.

" You heard her right? Just take the other route and drive fast " Mrs Andrew said nonchalantly.

She only got out of her thoughts when she noticed the car had pulled over at the airport

" Bella, we need to hurry, there's only five minutes left, " Mrs Andrew recalled as she noticed her sluggish behaviour.

They boarded the plane and Isabella stared at her phone, just then she got a call from Emily. " Bella I just got to your house and Chloe said you left already, I'm really sorry I slept off for a long time " she said.

Isabella smiled " it's okay Millie, I'll call you when I arrive " she simply replied before hanging up. She kept staring at her phone as if waiting for someone's call. She suddenly let out a bitter laugh and turned off her phone " Goodbye Jason, Goodbye New York " she muttered.

GLOBEX

Jason was sitting alone in his apartment, he was just done drinking his 10th can of beer, he threw it to the ground roughly and opened another new one.

He leaned back in his seat as he drank up with tears in his eyes, he had never cried over anything as he always got what he wanted ever since he was a child but today he couldn't believe he was crying over a woman not just any woman, Isabella was his life, happiness and his everything.

He was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't realise the doorbell had been ringing continuously for ages.

" Where the heck did you keep your ears " Alexander said furiously as he finally opened the door, he was dumbfounded to see Jason's condition, he didn't even know when his jaw dropped.

" Bro what happened? Why are you drinking so much at the early hours of the day?" He asked worriedly as he walked over to him.

Emily abruptly came in and she wasn't surprised by his condition after all she was aware of their conflict. " You are here sulking like a child as if that would help, why didn't you try and reason with Bella now she's gone for good " Emily said as her expressions hardened up.

Jason got up immediately " what are you talking about? " He asked.

" Bella left for California this morning with her mother for good, you caused her so much pain to the extent she's never coming back here " she said unceremoniously.

" What is going on here? Where did Bella go ? " Alexander had never felt this confused in his life

" Bella and Jason broke up, Bella got pregnant with Liam and Jason cheated on her with Jessica. Instead of them working things out they decided to part ways '' Emily said awkwardly as she watched the way Alexander was glaring at her.

" Millie, a lot happened to my friends and you couldn't tell me? Are you supposed to be hiding things from your husband? " He demanded.

" Alex I'm sorry, Bella made me promise her not to say a word, '' Emily said apologetically.

Jason grabbed his keys about to leave the house but Emily stopped him " it's useless going now, Bella must have already arrived in California as I'm speaking. You had the chance to fix everything but you didn't " she said and left the house.

She noticed Alexander was still standing there " won't you come take my stuff to the car, " she rolled her eyes at him and pulled him out of Jason's apartment.
