Quinn was getting ready to leave the Reagans' house. The info got to Cynthia and she wasn't happy about it.

But when she heard about Kate's proposal to take Quinn, she couldn't be happier and inquired about their departure day.

That means she got to kill two birds with one stone.

After making sure the coast was clear, Colton released Naomi.

" Thank you"

" Don't thank me I did it for a reason"

'" And I'm grateful. How is Quinn?

" Go see for yourself," he tells her holding the door open for her while she strides past him.

If Kate knew finding Quinn will make her that happy she wouldn't have bothered about the revenge.

That's what she needed: her son.

To make him comfortable she had to make adjustments in the resort-like remodeling of his bedroom and library.

It was a good thing she had an office with various computers and there was a game house and a casino not that she was going to show him that.

There he was in a red handmade suit with his hands attached to hers smiling while she showed him around.

" Welcome to Simon's resort" he chuckled.

" You named it after me," he tells her tugging at her blouse while she scratched her head.

" Just cause. Don't you want to see the bedroom? Lisa kinda helped me with it" his brows quirked up.

" Let's check it out, shall we? She giggled trailing after him while he pushed the door open in awe.

' This is fabulous. I have always wanted a basketball court. Look at that. A jacuzzi and a library. Oh, Mom. bravo,' he exclaimed pouncing on the bed then picked a basketball aiming it towards the ring but missed.

She chuckled unpacking his things" I'm sure you'll get the hang of it when we get to Jamaica. Uncle Louis is good at it" he was impressed with her effort.

" I'm going to love it there. How long are we staying?

" A few days. I'm working on your migration papers."

" Okay. Can I see my bathroom? Dad refused to get me a jacuzzi"

" Why is that? She asked searching for appropriate clothes for him.

" He never told me just some statement that I didn't understand"

" Hmm. I know he can be weird sometimes. Does he give you that eye? Quinn burst out laughing watching as Kate imitated Alvin's sorry eyes that melts hearts.

" I didn't know he does it to you too" he held his belly laughing louder.

"Every time. I have lost count. then I have to act like I understand most times "

" Me too even though I don't get his point" Kate pouts ruffling his hair while he grumbled.

" Mom, Pamela will be here soon. I can't meet her looking like this" she dropped her jaw then quirks her brows up while he made a run for it but she caught him tickling him.

" Still wants to impress Pamela? He laughed so hard that his ribs were hurting him hence she had to let him go while lying beside him laughing.

He lies on her chest listening to her heartbeat while she strokes his hair.

" We'd be happier with Dad around. You're going to forgive him right? Perhaps remarry him. Mom, Dad loves you. I swear he didn't go out on dates. No girlfriends. He dedicated those years in taking care of me. I read everyone makes mistakes. Some more than others that's why most people have a big heart. You have a big heart mom I know you do" she listened to him and sighed deeply.

A five years old boy was giving her advice. Extraordinary!

" I'll try for your sake. Perhaps he didn't because he was still tied to me" lies. She knew he could have any woman he wanted even though he was married.

He didn't care about rules. He was wealthy.

" Thanks, Mom" she hummed pecking him staring at the ceiling then decided to change the awkward moment.

" Wanna hear something really funny?

" It depends if I'm going to see Pamela or not but yeah though my ribs are killing me. You're definitely the fun one" she smiled wondering if that was true thus heard a knock.

" I'll get it" Quinn jumped up to get it and returned in Alvin's arms.

" I can see you two had been catching up " Quinn twitched his mouth staring at Kate's knowing eyes.

If only he knew who was the topic.

" You're early. He was about to check his bathroom if you don't mind"

" I want to go with you" he insisted as Kate huffed.

" What a big baby" she teases leading him away while he watched them in satisfaction then crouched to unpack Quinn's bags and noticed a photograph of Kate peeking out of his luggage. He pulled it out trying to recall where he had seen it but couldn't.

" Dad, I have a jacuzzi. Mom got me one" he said as a matter of fact to irritate him but he shrugged instead.

" Congrats son. I was just a day old when I used a jacuzzi" that wiped the smirk off his face as he turned to Kate who glared at Alvin.

" He's just jealous. It doesn't matter at what age you get to use a jacuzzi. I was a grown woman before I used it. I didn't know it existed. Did I grow up differently? Is there anything your dad possesses that we don't? Quinn was about to answer but Alvin beat him to it.

"Seven-foot height" Quinn and Kate laughed then sighed.

" You got that from the jacuzzi? Alvin's eyes narrowed not liking his son's smartness then gave it a rest.

" See we shut him up" Kate cooed giving him a high five while Quinn smiled knowingly.

Something tells him that his time with her will get him anything that he wants. Anything.

So this is how it feels to have a mother?" He reasoned.

" Together we can do anything Mom. Dad can't help it" Alvin scoffed knowing he was. Kate's presence means Quinn gets to be a big baby all the time.

" That's my sweet boy" she complimented making him blush thus hurried out of the room for a bath.

" You need help sweetie? He hummed loudly in refusal while Alvin chuckled.

" He's just shy. It'll take him a while to get used to that name" she made an o shape with her mouth then crouched beside him to unpack.

" You're better at this than I was. Better than all of us" she shrugged grabbing a few things from his luggage.

" You did a great job with him. He needs both of us trust me I'm teaming up with him. Chose your team wisely" he laughed holding her hands.

" I advise you give me another one cos I'm ready to be the bad guy. He can have you if that's what you want but I get to toughen him up"

' I see. About having another child, we need Quinn's support plus you forgot my condition" he met her eyes then her lips hence bit his lips while she chuckled.

" How did you stay celibate when you can't keep your hands to yourself whenever you're close to me. There's a bulge in your pants too" she tells me while he shrugged.

" It's your fault for staring at me with those eyes. About staying celibate, it was hell and embarrassing. I just lost the desire for women after you left" Kate's eyes almost popped out from shock.

" OMG," she gagged trying to muffle her laughs.

" Yeah, it was that bad. It wouldn't get erected. it didn't bother me at first till you returned. Imagine making out with you and no erection. I didn't want to push you to another man again cos you always meet my expectations. I wanted to kiss you so hard the moment you walked into the room" she hummed not knowing how to respond to it since she didn't feel that way just sheer hatred.

" Wanna know something? He nods urging her to spill.

" I have always imagined life with you, with Simon. A family with you. I knew you'd make a great father. It's a shame things didn't turn out the way I planned not that I was expecting you to marry me in the first place. I thought what you wanted was to get a taste of me then go for the next catch. You know most guys like a challenge but when you saved my mother, I didn't care what you wanted cos I was ready to give anything to clear my debt and when you proposed to me, I froze you know. It was nothing like the day you professed your love to me. It involved a lifetime of commitment so I sought out mom's opinion and a lot of others just to make sure I don't make a mistake after all, what do I know about love? I wanted to do my best for you, to make you proud then you changed and Dante came into the picture. You must be wondering why I did it, at that moment I... I felt like getting back on you for cheating on me every time. I wanted to be different. It didn't take long for guilt to envelop me. It was a one-time thing. A horrible mistake that I'm sorry for Alvin. Do forgive me" she finished with emotions all over the place that had Alvin pulling her into a hug while she sniffled.

" I forgive you. I don't blame you for it anymore. Let's put it behind us. We both made mistakes. It's a good thing we realized it on time cos I didn't see myself loving another woman except you. I would have been miserable at forty without you" she chuckled then sniffled nudging her head on the crook of his neck

" You'd look great at forty Alvin. Simon took after you" he hummed in disapproval.

" No, I won't"

" Dad, what's wrong with mom? They broke apart while Kate wiped her tears sauntering to him.

" It's nothing sweetie. We were..." Then Alvin cuts in.

" Having adult time. You know your mom and me" he stared at Kate wiping her tears properly then hugged her while she crouched to his height.

" Ooh. You're such a darling" she cooed peppering kisses on his cheeks as he turned beet red then dashed off while Kate trailed after him glaring at a grinning Alvin.

" Sweetie, are you alright?

" I'm fine mom. I'm sure I'll get used to it" who knew she had no intention of stopping?

" Good. Here are your clothes. What will you like to eat for dinner?

" Homemade food by my loving Mom" it was Kate's turn to blush.

" What a gentleman. Why don't you go to the game house with your dad while I prepare dinner"

" Okay. Clothes first" she chuckled, picked a towel to wipe his body then applied lotion and other kinds of stuff she knew so well since Alvin usually dresses in her presence then put his clothes on deciding to style his disheveled hair.

" You're good to go"

" Thanks, Mom" he replied, pecked her then ran off to meet Alvin.

The trio later had dinner laughing most of the time as Kate picked on Alvin a lot.

Tucking Quinn to bed wasn't as difficult as she thought thus she retired for the night intending to return to the bedroom and met Alvin by the balcony with his back turned to her.

" Aren't you leaving?

" Ever so direct. Whom am I going home to? She sighed then leaned on the wall beside him in understanding.

She felt that once which led to her living at the resort.

" I'm sorry about that. I told you I need time" he hummed looking at the skyline.

" Wanna tell me what kind of star that is? She looked at him in admiration: he looked different from the sides. hence she looked at the sky intently at the star he was pointing to.

" No stars yet. Just satellites" they chuckled facing each other while he pulled her closer turning her around with her head on his chest.

" You're such a baby" she teased leaning on him.

" Your baby Kate after Quinn I guess" she chuckled turning around to face him.

" Before Quinn. Don't tell him I said that. It's getting late you should leave" he cupped her cheeks then smiled revealing his perfectly arranged teeth.

" My place is here with you guys. I don't think I'll fit in Quinn's bed. Yours will do" she poked him shaking her head then disengaged from him.

"That could work if you promised to keep your hands to yourself" his smile widened excited and all while she giggled pointing to the direction of her bedroom.
