Posh and casual Naomi drove into Simon resort but the security wouldn't let her in.

" I'm a friend. Kate is my friend"

" No one is allowed to enter without a security check. We'll have to confirm with her first"

" Yes go ahead' she said nervously tapping her foot unsure if she'll like to see her.

" You can go in. Sorry for the delay" she hums then walked in with her heart pounding like it was about to explode.

" Miss Naomi right? She's this way" a lady tells her leading her in another direction.

" You should hurry. She doesn't like delay'

" Okay," she muttered trailing after her with long strides.

They made a few stops on the way to check on some VIPs. She almost bumped into her as she made another stop pointing to the door.

" She's inside. Good day," Naomi raised her hands to knock but couldn't as she noticed it trembling then took a deep breath and knocked.

" Come in' she heard her calm voice then pushed the door open. to her surprise, Quinn and Alvin were there too thus she intended to close it.

Yep, she chickened out.

" I thought you wanted to see us. Whatever you have to say, say it in their presence. I don't have time to play best friends with you" she said coldly which gave Naomi confidence thus stepped into the room with eyes darting to Quinn who was on the computer and felt hurt that he hated her.

" What's she doing here? Alvin asked on his feet.

" She's here to see me right Naomi? She cleared her throat and met her eyes in remorse.

" I..... He deceived me. I didn't mean to betray you. You were my best friend. He used me, Kate. He used me. I'm ashamed of myself for doing such a horrible thing to you. No day goes by that it doesn't come to haunt me. It still does until now. I feel responsible for everything you have been through. The torture, your asthma attacks, Dante's death, and your separation from your son. I did all that. I'm the worst friend but I have realized my mistake and I'm deeply sorry. I'm not asking you to forgive me though it'll mean a lot if you do" Kate's eyes had moved to the paperwork on her table turning a deaf ear to her confession but raised her head nevertheless.

" Good because I'm not going to forgive you ever. Get out" Alvin leaned back on the chair noticing the cold eyes and inhaled sharply.

" Please. David wants me dead because I refused to tell him Quinn's whereabouts. I saved your son. I saved his life" Alvin understood everything at that junction and his face darkened.

" Did you record that video to deceive me? She stepped back to escape his fury.

" Quinn is here" Naomi reminded him which kind of worked as the couple turned around to find Quinn watching in interest then controlled themselves.

" Get out Naomi. You'll pay for everything. Out! Alvin yelled with a clenched fist thus she left hurriedly while Alvin stared at Kate's blank face.

" You knew, didn't you?

" It's been a while and she's the naive type so she's easy to manipulate. I'm not here for her. She doesn't have what I want. She's miserable as it is. Don't tell me she didn't get what she wanted? Alvin raised a brow urging her to elaborate.

" How dumb" she muttered with eyes darting to Quinn who was looking between them in confusion.

" Come here sweetie" she cooed as he walked to her.

" Naomi was good to me" she hummed placing him on her lap.

" I know but she wasn't good to me. I'll explain when you get older"

" But she's sorry. That's a good thing right?

" It is but I don't trust people's words. You shouldn't either. Actions matters remember that" Quinn nods in agreement then stepped down from her lap.

" Pam and I are going to the amusement park today who is going with us?

" Your little friend I guess. It's not safe outside perhaps some other day" Quinn huffed in annoyance then faced Kate.

" Please, mom. I haven't seen her for weeks now. She didn't attend my birthday party" Kate looked at Alvin who muttered a no but she couldn't refuse those puppy eyes and stimulating smile.

" Of course I'm coming along" he jumped into her arms and pecked her.

" I love you, Mom. Yes! He said with his hands in the air then sauntered out of the room leaving a very angry Alvin.

' you know it's dangerous out there" he said standing in front of her.

" He's just a kid. we can't lock him indoors. He needs to socialize and he seems to like Pamela a lot. We both do"

" Why do I have the feeling that this is just the beginning? Kate chuckled standing on her feet to accompany Quinn.

" Get used to it daddy" she was pulled back thus bumped into his chest.

" Say that again? She stared at his lustful eyes and giggled.

' I said daddy. Aren't you a daddy? She whispered with her hands on his arms.

" It depends on whose daddy I am" he teased cupping her cheeks then kissed her which she gladly responded by pulling him closer.

" We should renew our vows. Live together" he said into her mouth but she was busily entwining her tongue with his.

Perhaps they'll talk about it another day.

Their hands were basically all over each touching sensitive parts of their body which had him placing her on the desk raining kisses on her collarbone with her hands on his hair.

" I think we should stop" she spoke which came out as a moan.

" Umm," he replied cupping her chest then snaked his hands under her sleeve to feel her warmth earning a moan from her.

" You're a bad influence" she whispered wrapping her legs around his waist with his hard member poking her.

" I'll be quick" that had her snapping back to reality as she disengaged from him fixing her sleeves.

" Not here. I'm sitting on my files and I just promised Quinn an outing which I should probably be going to. We can continue this later and the vows renewal" he twitched his mouth helping her to fix her hair.

" Whatever you say. You're serious about this right?

" Of course"

" Let's talk when you return," he tells her smashing his lips on hers nibbling on her lips which parted while he slipped his tongue in twirling and tasting her moist mouth then withdrew certain she was basking in it. To his surprise, she whined.

" Later love. Later" she pouts licking her lips.

' you did that on purpose"

" Nope. Quinn is waiting" he smirked enjoying her outburst thus she shoved him on the chair straddling him.

" I guess I need that quickie" he chuckled to unbutton her top then someone knocked.

' Mom I'm ready" Kate stared at Alvin's tempting lips which were parted for invasion and bit her lips seductively.

" Your mom is almost done. Give her twenty minutes" Alvin intervened chuckling while cupping her boobs.

" Mom?? Quinn complained thinking she might have changed her mind.

" Be right there sweetie. Be right there" she spoke stepping down from his lap giving him a chaste kiss before leaving.

' I Love you" he heard her say then it hit him that she just confessed her love to him.

" She said she loves me. She does love me!!
