Little by little Eden prepared for the divorce first hearing as they haven't heard from Alvin.

" I wasn't expecting this" David tells Eden who was looking for a way to win the case.

" He's a stubborn man. Miss Kate had no concrete evidence to request for divorce without proof she will lose the case against Alvin Reagan unless you intervene'

" I can but the deal with the lawmakers hasn't been established. It's up to her. What's her plan so far?

" Nothing for now. I'm confused. I think she knows something and isn't ready to share

' what could that be? He asked seemingly interested in it

Eden was about to respond when Logan stepped in.

" Boss, it's done" he waved Eden off urging Logan to sit.

" Details please" he requested reaching for the papers in his hands.

" I finally found his biggest board member. He's with the boys as we speak' he revealed.

' well, that's good.. you've done well. Shall we?

' yes sir. You'll be surprised to see him shaking like a rat' David chuckled striding out of the office room looking forward to it already.

As much as Colton disliked Kate for ruining his boss's life, he couldn't do what Alvin requested of him instead he focused his attention on his secret companies.

He knew Kate was revealing Alvin's secret corporations to him which could bankrupt Alvin not that he wouldn't want him to experience it so that he'll learn.

He needs to understand the power of a woman. He needs to know that she could ruin him completely. He needed to know that he subjected Kate to David's manipulation. It's his fault.

Golddigger or not, she certainly didn't make a video someone did and he was going to find that person. Although David was the mastermind, someone close to Kate recorded that video and he had only one suspect.

Alvin stared at his blank face in anger.

" What's the matter, Colt? Do you seem distracted?

" I'm sorry sir. I was just wondering if it's necessary to disgrace her this way? She's your wife, Quinn's mother. The paparazzi will be present. The newspaper company will too. Are you sure about this? One way or the other Quinn will get to know about it. Whatever is recorded can not be destroyed. Must it be this way?

Alvin glared at him in distress then leaned on the chair to think locking eyes with him. Colt didn't dare to break from it as it was disrespectful thus maintained the look until he looked somewhere else.

" She went to the mafia's world? She's getting on my nerves and then files for divorce? Like I'll grant her any' Colt sighed looking at the printed pictures of Kate and Dante kissing in the hallway.

" Is this necessary? She'll hate you more? Is that what you want? Alvin stood up angrily gripping colt's shirt forcefully.

" Whose side are you? Seventy percent of my trusted subordinates are his all thanks to her?

" Fine. I'll get back to it"

" No, go and handle the seaports issues. I want it under close watch. Something tells me he's about to do something terrible' Colt nods respectfully then he pushed him away by removing his hands from his collar.

" She'll beg for it. Else she's going to be married but single until she dies. Get out of here" he snapped as Colt left knowing he'll reflect on it. He always does.

As expected Alvin sat down to think about colt's speculation. Then stared at a picture of her and Dante and sneered. Nope, he was going on with it maybe the press won't be present but that doesn't mean he wasn't going to disgrace her.

He couldn't believe what she had turned into. A wife seeking revenge. Does she want his downfall? He couldn't wait to see the looks on her face when he disappoint her.

Kate was sitting behind her desk talking to her PA.

" Ma'am, about the company I have tried communicating with them but... Their request is quite extraordinary"

" Let's hear it. How much do they want?

" Eight hundred million," she said scratching her hair anxiously.

" That's not bad. Try to negotiate. Propose a contract with them stating a viable amount of money to be paid to them as our first board member"
