Chapter 66: Chapter 66

"What are you doing? Let go of me right now," I said my hand on his arm and he shook his head.

"No. Until you listen to me." He said and I snorted.

"Why do I have to listen to you now? I wanted to listen to you earlier and what did you do? You accused me, blamed me... In hell would I actually listen to you," I retorted and he sighed.

"I'm sorry," He whispered and I froze for a second looking at our reflection in the glass that served as door to the hotel's lobby which was in a way the entrance. I could only see his hair and not his face since he decided it was wise to bury his face in my neck.

"What?" I asked in a whisper and he finally looked up straight into my eyes in the reflection and I almost froze at the intensity of the sincerity in it. Almost.

"I'm sorry, Heaven. For accusing you and for calling you Navaeh. I know that was quite wrong and unfamiliar of me, but I'm sorry."

"You think I'm angry cause you called me Navaeh? I mean I am, I don't even know why since it's my name, but I was and still am, but it's not as much as I'm angry that you actually used that against me."

"Even though I told you the reason." I said in a whisper looking down at my nails.

"I know. And that's exactly why I'm very much sorry. I'm sorry. Will you forgive me?" He asked and I looked up at his reflection to see he was already waiting for my eyes.

"First, let go of me... This position is very confusing," I muttered and he pouted.

"Do I have to?"

"Yes."

"But it's so comfortable and it even feels right," He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Feels right? Hugging a girl from the back feels right? Really, Ashford?"

"I didn't say any girl. Hugging your crush from behind feels nice," He muttered burying his face back in my neck and I froze at his confession.

"What did you say?" I asked to confirm again.

"Hmm?"

"You just said something. What did you say?"

"Huh, what was it about?"

"Stop playing tricks on me," I muttered and he sighed before letting me go. When I was about to step forward, he pulled me and turned me around so I would look at his face.

"So, do you forgive me?" He asked and I twitches my mouth as if I was thinking.

"I don't know. I guess we'll have to find out." I replied with a shrug. He looked at me warily before the corner of his mouth tugged up into a smirk.

"Alright. Since we have to find out, that makes it better. If you've forgiven me, meet me back in the lobby by 22:00 heures."

I raised a brow at him.

"10? The coach said we're having dinner by 7 which will probably end by 8. The heck am I supposed to be doing outside after dinner?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"That means you're going to come," He said and my eyes widened before I shook my head.

"That does not mean anything. I'm not promising you anything."

"Huh... Sure," He said rolling his eyes at me.

"Tch." I scoffed and turned my head to the side.

"Anyways, wear something warm and long." He said before he shook his head.

"No no... Wear something short so I can give you my cloth again. I liked the way my cardigan looked on you today." He said with a wink and I blinked at him.

"I simply tied it around my waist! I didn't even wear it." I replied and he shook his head.

"Hn hn... It's still the same."

"Okay then. You even want me to wear your cloth. You like me that much?" I teased my heart slamming against my ribcage even though there was a teasing smile on my face.

"Oh you have no idea." He breathed out and my breath hitched.

"What?"

Stop asking what every freaking time you bitch! Goodness! Then he's not going to say anything about it again!

"Let's go to our rooms." He said instead and I pouted.

"But I don't want to go to the room yet." I whined.

"Then let's go to the dinning hall. I think I could use a drink. All my energy has been drained from punching that guy." He said as he twisted his wrist here and there while we strolled to the dining hall.

"Oh right! That was badass! It's really a miracle that that guy didn't pass out!" I exclaimed my eyes twinkling in delight.

He seemed to like that as a smile pulled itself into his face.

"I heard he suffered a third level Concussion! Served him right though." He said and I gasped covering my mouth in delight like I hadn't heard it before.

"Oh my God! Third Level?! That's crazy! You're so strong!" I murmured and he grinned at me.

In the dining hall, there was a line in front of the place to get cold drinks. This dining hall is like a cafeteria.

"Of course! All this abs aren't for nothing!" He gloated as he joined the line while I stood beside him and I shook my head until he lifted his white shirt up and instead of my head moving sideways, it was moving upwards and downwards with my mouth agape and my throat running dry.

"Wow..." I heard beside me and I turned my head to see Ashley. I immediately use that moment to gulp my spit so my

"Hey, eyes off," I said snapping my fingers in front of her.

"Oh calm down, you jealous girlfriend. I'll let you know that my brother also has abs. Stronger and toner than this ones," She replied with an eyes roll nudging her chin towards Quinnel's toned body.

"No it's not." Quinnel argued suddenly and I blinked at the voice he used.

"Uhh, sure. You and your girlfriend can keep fooling each other." She said leaning in before she leaned away from us.

"I'm leaving." She said and turned on her heels with a wave. I watched her disappear into the elevator which came faster than normal like it was waiting for her to step in front of it.

Imagine that. Ashley Hemple, the god of elevators. I imagined her wearing a blue martial attire with her legs crossed like she was meditating with a long sword with blue hilt in her hand floating in air in front of an elevator.

Her hair would be packed in a tight bun and held with a golden hairpin. She would be looking fearless and fierce.

I should try it out someday on her. She would look hot!

God, am I a script writer?

"I should snap her tiny wrists someday." Quinnel threatened as he glared at where Ashley was standing just now when she said her brother's abs was more than Quinnel's even though she was long gone. She was probably in the room right now!

"Hey! She's my best friend!" I yelled smacking his back.

"And she's my best friend twin sister. Zaire won't say anything about it. He always told me he wants to do it. There's no harm in helping a friend out, right?" He asked with a wink and I gasped.

"Even if he truly said that, he was just joking you stupid boy! There is no twin that would want to break his own sisters hand! They might fight like cat and dog but the love between them is more stronger than the ones between any two partners ever!" I explained and he blinked at me.

"Your sisters like each other that much?" He asked and I nodded.

"More than they like me. Both likeness combined!" I replied and he chuckled.

"Don't worry. I like you more than both their likeness joined." He replied with a wink and I blinked at him as I felt my body warm.

"What would you like to have?" Someone asked snapping me out of my reverie before I could even think of one word to say.

"Two Apple Juices. Thank you." Quinnel replied and I blinked at the side of his face.

Wait, do he like me? He keeps saying it but he doesn't confirm it! Ugh! I hate this kind of drama! Ughhhhhh! I really feel like crying!

Suddenly I felt something on my waist again and I didn't even have to look down to know Quinnel had tied his cardigan around my waist again.

"The guys in here are staring too much." He muttered his eyes sweeping over the dining hall.

My heart was beating erratically at the proximity. My breath was hitching at every intake that I'm starting to get worried I might have an asthma attack or maybe even a panic attack!

Oh no! Help a girl!
