Chapter 56: Chapter 56

"Ashford, please sit down."

He grumbled and sat down on his chair. All right then, since she's being stubborn, he would make her beg him to talk to her.

The bus moved and the atmosphere soon got boring.

"Guys who wants to play a game?" Zaire asked and the bus hooted. The Coach groaned from the front seat and the driver chuckled.

"What game?" A girl asked Zaire immediately taking the opportunity of talking to him even if it was just for some minutes.

All eyes turned to Zaire as they anticipated his response.

"Spin the bottle?" He asked and Navaeh frowned. She was not doing that.

"Yeah, let's play Spin The Bottle." Quinnel chimed in and her head snapped to him to see him already looking at him.

She rolled her eyes and turned her head away. She looked at the scenery that passed by her before she turned her head when someone called her.

"Navaeh, you playing?"

"Nah, I'll pass." She replied with a smile.

"Aw, come on play." Quinnel said and she turned to him to glare.

"No, thank you."

Her face morphed into a frown as she glared at Quinnel. What was he playing at?

"Play! Play! Play!"

Soon, everyone started chanting play and her lips twisted into a scowl.

"Really, I'm fine guys. Just play on." She insisted and looked away from them.

"I guess she's not in the mood."

"Let's just play."

"Connie are you interested?"

Everyone's eyes turned to her and the only people she saw was Quinnel and Zaire who were glaring harshly at her.

She gulped and shook her head negative immediately.

"Aw, come on! The more the merrier!" Someone groaned and Zaire rolled his eyes.

"Okay, which bottle are we going to use?" Zaire asked looking around the bus.

"Here. I found this one." A girl said blushing as she drank all her water without batting an eye or thinking for herself for just one second and passed the empty bottle to Zaire with a blush.

"Thanks." Zaire said with a wink and the girl's blush deepened almost immediately. She helplessly cupped her face in her hand with a small squeal.

Typical Playboy

"Okay, who is going to go first?" Jake asked everyone turned to him.

"Go, Jake! Jake is going first!" Zaire declared and Jake shook his hand and head.

"I never said that! Come on!" Jake yelled and when he saw no one was stepping up, he groaned and reached for the bottle.

He turned it and they all anticipated for who it was going to land on. The bottle pointed at Quinnel who looked at the bottle and then Jake.

"So, Quinnel... What do you like most about this trip?"

"I was happy for this trip but not anymore. The reason I came in the first place is being annoying." He replied and all eyes shuffled to Navaeh who had her headphones on staring out the bus.

"I never mentioned anyone." He said and everyone turned to him back.

"And that's all... I'm not playing anymore." He said and faced the window as well. He turned his head to see Ashley grinning at the game. Didn't she say she wanted to sit by her friend?! Then why weren't they talking?

He rolled his eyes and looked to Zaire that was shaking his head at him. He raised a brow and Zaire tilted his head slightly towards Navaeh before raising a brow to ask him what had happened.

'Later' Quinnel mouthed and rest his back on the chair ready to fall asleep again when the bus suddenly jerked forward making everyone move to the front at the unexpected force.

"Sorry, guys!" The driver yelled from the front. The students sighed. Now, they couldn't get angry at him without being unreasonable.

The bottle shifted to the entrance and Quinnel almost fell out of his seat if not for the iron of the chair in front of him that he held on to.

Unfortunately it wasn't the same for his friend/crush.

Navaeh's head that was resting on the window moved when the car jerked and she hit her head of the window pane.

"Oh, come on!" Navaeh groaned quietly from behind Quinnel who immediately looked back with the speed of lightening to the girl holding her forehead and glaring at the window like it did anything wrong.

Her lips was twisted into a scowl as she frowned at the window. The headphone was hung loosely on her neck with Wolves by Marshmello and Selena Gomez playing out loud.

Quinnel thought she looked cute and so he chuckled making Navaeh look up at him.

"This is funny to you?" She asked with a scowl while the others were talking to the person at the entrance to grab the bottle back.

"Why not? Who said I was laughing at you anyways? I was laughing at... Ashley. I was laughing at her", He said and faced the front.

Navaeh glared at the back of his head before she reached out and pushed it. Before Quinnel could register what was happening, she had put her headphones back on and now staring out the window with a smile on her face.

"Hey, Ashley... Come here for a second."

Ashley looked to Quinnel with a raised brow.

"Ashley, don't get up." Navaeh said and she looked at her.

"Don't let her control you. Just get up and don't listen to her."

"No, he's obviously trying to control you... Don't get up and show him everything he says doesn't always go."

"I'm not trying to control you. She's the one putting stuff in your head."

Ashley looked between them unsure of what to do. She then let out a huff.

"Okay, so you guys won't put me in the middle of your childish fight, I'll stand up."

"That's literally what he just asked you to do! Just... rephrased in another sentence!" Navaeh yelled at her friend who had stood up to go back to her previous seat.

"Nah, I didn't listen to him. You guys were yelling too much over my head and it's not good for my health, ears and brain." She said to Navaeh with a smile.

"What do I get for standing up?" Ashley asked Quinnel.
