"Right, Vee?!" They asked together and I gulped having missed the question.

"What was the question?" I asked and immediately their rants covered me.

I'm dead.

Following morning.

"I can't believe you actually divided the egg!"

"I can't believe you let her have the egg after she had eaten the whole thing last time!"

I watched them complain to me with a pout and I wondered how the next two weeks would go without one of them ending up with a scratched eye.

I'm kidding. They've had a fight worse than this and none of them ended in the hospital or anywhere for that matter.

We were now at the bus stop and they wouldn't keep quiet for once! It was already in the morning for Goodness Sakes!

"Okay, that's enough! Both of you! Quiet!" I yelled and they kept quiet still sulking my turning their head away from me.

I saw a few head turn to me and I shook it away scowling at the two of them.

"What in hell is wrong with you?" I asked my voice seething with small anger.

Well, I was angry. They were bickering like children and are just making fools out of theirselves! It's like they hate each other.

I normally don't interfere in their childish fights and they normally reconcile even without my help!

"This has been going on for hours! What is wrong with you? All because of some stupid brown part of the egg? You know, if I want to do it, I would make sure there is not one single brown part. Would you like me to do that?!" I asked and they shook their head slowly.

"So baby up and stop acting like babies!" Then I paused. What the hell does that even mean? Baby up and then stop acting like babies?! Shut up!

"We're not babies." They muttered and I glared at the sidewalk before turning to them.

"Yeah sure. You're not babies huh? Well then I guess "not babies–"" I paused air quoting the nit babies with my fingers.

"–fight for hours like children. Yet you say you're not babies?! Yeah, indeed." I replied with a snort and I rolled my eyes as the bus came in view.

"Let's just go to school in peace. And when I'm back from School, I don't want to hear anything about you still fighting or shits like that. Am I clear?" I asked pointing my index at them.

They didn't reply as they kept their eyes on the ground.

"Are we clear?" I asked again emphasizing on each word.

"Crystal." They murmured and I let out a huff.

"Now, let's go." I said and they followed after me.

I settled down on the bus and they sat down beside me solemnly. The bus started soon.

I looked to my right to see them holding hands and I released a soft sigh. Exactly!

The bus stopped in front of their school and they stood up.

"We're sorry, Vee." I heard suddenly and I looked up at them.

They were looking down at me and I smiled.

"It's fine. Now, run along. We would have ice cream when we're back from School."

"Yay! Bye!" They yelled and ran out of the bus.

I smiled and waved at them when they waved at me. I gestured for them to eat and like they always did, they stuck out their tongue and ran past their teachers.

I notice their homeroom teacher roll her eyes before she stretched her hand to receive the girl in pink bag.

It looks like I'm going to have a little talk with this school principal.

The bus moved and soon stopped not so far from my school. I came off the bus and walked into the School.

"Hey, Neve!" I heard from my locker and I saw Ashley grinning at me while she waved at me almost jumping.

What's got her jumping this morning?

I walked to her and she pulled me into a tight bear crushing hug.

"Woah! Someone is happy!" I said and she hummed into my ears and I patted her back.

"Oh right! I got you something." I said and like that, off she pulled away.

"What's it? Tell me! Tell me!" She said almost squealing.

"Okay, stop squealing and calm down! Everyone's eyes is on us!" I said and she pursed her lips, crossed her palms over each other stood still shaking slightly.

"Alright. Here you go." I said and dipped my hand into the bag.

I searched around for the gifts I purchased at the supermarket yesterday. My hand touched the lollipop and I pulled it out.

"Here you go!"

"Ooh! Lollipop!" She yelled with stars in her eyes and immediately snatched it from me.

"Weird." I muttered and she grinned at me.

"Okay, so... Why are you so happy?" I asked.

"We revealed it!" She said enthusiastically and I tilted my head in utter confusion.

"Uhh, okay... I need a more obvious explanation. Don't mean to sound stupid but, revealed what?"

She opened her mouth to talk when suddenly a squeal cut her off. All eyes turned to the brunette even mine and I recognized her. I don't know her name though.

"Oh My Goodness! Ashley! I've been looking all over for you!"

"Leech." Ashley muttered to me with a wink and I raised a brow.

The brunette reached us and then slung her arm over Ashley's shoulder. I saw Ashley look at her arm before cringing to me.

I held my tongue to not laugh out loud.

"Oh my God! I still can't believe it. You know when I heard it, I almost fainted in shock! But then, you guys are– So heavenly!" The brunette rambled on.

"Heard about what?" I asked and the brunette looked at me.

"Oh hey, Navaeh. I didn't see you there. Anyways, you haven't heard the news?" She asked and I shook my head slowly looking at Ashley who only raised her lips up in a brief manner.

"Ashley and Zaire are twins!" She yelled and then squealed again while I only tilted my head.
