Chapter 24: Chapter 24
Gwenn
Getting to the palace, I was not in the mood be confronted by Faye but I didn’t have a choice because she was resting by the door and tapping her foot, when I drew closer, she straightened.
“Well done Queen Gwenn, what was that little stunt you pulled this morning, you think that the whole world revolve around you and you can disappear when you chose to?” Faye demanded standing in front of me and preventing me from moving forward, Sorens eyebrow jumped at the audacity which she had to stop me from advancing forward with her blocking my way. Her hands were on her middle and it was just plain pathetic, I didn’t know how she was doing it, acting like the baby was already a bump when that place was still as flat as ever. I guess she wanted everybody to know of her status.
“No, the world does not revolve around me, neither do the world nor me stand still because of you.” I answered her and just because she was drawing attention to her stomach, I made my eyes dipped purposely before looking at her in the face and adding. “Or your unborn child.”
Faye stiffened and I thought she would have enough sense to leave my way if she was not going to apologize but instead, her hands went to her waist as she scowled at me.
“No, not yet it doesn’t but it will. My child will be a son and the heir and there is nothing which you can do about it.” She said as I shrugged.
“Congratulations, I hope he rules well.” I answered her as I tried to side step her but she moved the same way I did to block me from going forward.
“Get out of my way.” I gritted out as she rolled her eyes at me.
“You don’t have the right to tell me what to do. In fact, you should get out of my way, get out of this place, you don’t belong here.” She yelled at me and that was when I lost it.
All I wanted was to go to my new room and gather my thoughts while Sorens get his brother for me, all I wanted to was find out what was going on with me and this little bitch just wanted me to hurt her and if that was her wish, who was I to disagree.
“My queen…” Sorens said cautiously.
“Stay out of this, Sorens.” I snapped at him, he shifted away from Faye as he did what I said and then I turned my back to Faye and then moved a little distance backwards.
As soon as I got to a good position, I unwounded my whip from its place on my waist very fast and whip Faye legs.
Faye gave a very shrill scream as she collapse on the floor, her legs were red but not bleeding, I was still considerate of the unborn she was having, if not, heaven knows that her bone will be showing.
“I told you to get out of my way.” I said to Faye as I snapped the whip on the ground new to her and she whimpered. “You don’t get to get away with respecting me just because my husband choose to give you his seed. My husband and me are different, you can disrespect him but you do not disrespect me.” I yelled at her as she continued to cry, her voice loud.
“Queen Gwenn stop this instant.” Four voice commanded at the same time and I couldn’t do anything, I was frozen unable to move my body.
Then at once I felt a excoriating pain radiating all over my body but especially my legs, I opened my mouth and I screamed my agony.
“Stop it, you are hurting her, Faye deserved it.” I heard Sorens said but a loud sound of a smack sounded.
“You do not talk when your elders are talking.” One of them said.
I felt something within me crack with enough force that it whipped out of me.
“What was that?” They asked as Faye whimpered on the floor.
I felt their hold on me diminishing but the pain still had me breathing hard.
“Enough.” Arius thundered. “Let go of my wife this instant.”
I felt the release and I fell on the floor unable to stand anymore.
“If someone does not start talking, I will fray someone skin off his back.” Arius said calmly, he didn’t speak in a manner to compel anybody but his tone was that he demanded an answer and someone to provide it for him without delay.
“We came back to the Palace only for Faye to come block the Queen’s way and started to talk to her in an annoying manner, Queen Gwenn tried to side step Faye but she didn’t not allow The queen to pass, she made the queen angry until the queen whipped her leg, just once, then the council appeared and then they tried to kill the queen.” Sorens explained as I felt Arius cool hands lift my head up whatever he saw on my face was enough to make him suck a breathe.
“God, they did this?” He asked angrily.
“This happened because of you.” I said with my throat a little bit sore from my screams. “You did this to me. This was not what I was promised to.” I said to Arius as I tried to leave his hands but he wrapped his arms around me while kneeling down as I tried to sit up.
“I am sorry.” He begged. “I am so sorry.”
I shook my head as I removed his hands from around my shoulders and shakily stood up.
“You don’t deserve to be forgiven, I don’t know what you are feeling right now but I want you to know that you used your hands to ruin what we have or could have had.” I tell him and then started to limp away, I only got to five steps before my legs gave out but before I could fall, Sorens was there to catch me.
“Just a little more…” He whispered but I couldn’t do it.
I buried my head in his shirt as I let out a scream which coincidental with the sound of a thunder that chose that particular second to strike. I didn’t care who was watching me at that particular second. I let out my tears as I loudly sobbed into Sorens cloth but thank Goodness, Sorens did not stop, he continued walking.

Themis Pov
I jolted awake as the thunder strike, Gwenn needed help from her family. Gwenn needed Dar.
“What’s wrong?” Orel asked beside me. “Elison?”
“Elison is alright, Gwenn is not.” I answered, Orel sat up immediately, and Gwenn was like his only family remaining. They were three and now they were two, Gwenn needed help for what was coming and I needed to be in Northshore.
“What is wrong with Gwenn?” Orel asked.
“Arius. He broke the pact, Gwenn is not happy and she has not yet awoken her full potential.” I replied.
“You have to speak my clearly Doe.” Orel said.
“Gwenn needs us and we need to pack, something is coming to Northshore and we need to be with Gwenn when it does.” I answered, rubbing my temples, I was not yet well enough to travel on horseback for long but we needed to leave and leave soon.
