“Ashley, you have only two options:- either sign these divorce papers and get the release from jail or don’t divorce me and take your punishment and I will get a divorce from the court,” Ronald said with an evil smirk, looking in Ashley’s eyes, which irked her.

Lady cop was listening to their conversation and realized that their words are not enough to pursue Ashley to divorce her husband, so she interrupted.

“Sorry to interrupt you, Mr. Walter, but I think you should not waste your time anymore. When she will get the death penalty and hangs till death, then after that you will be free from this relation, without any procedure.”

Stefan and Ronald looked at the cop with an impressive gaze.

“She is indeed correct, Ronald, get up, let’s not waste our time here anymore.”

Ashley was scared, without saying anything she took divorce papers and signed them instantly.

If Stefan will go from here, then her last hope of getting release will also diminish.

Stefan and Ronald looked at each other and smirk. Then they picked up the signed papers in hand, look at the lady cop.

“Thank you so much officer for your help and please serve her properly what she deserves.”

Stefan said in a cold tone, gave a ruthless glare to Ashley, and stride from there.

Ashley furrowed in confusion. What does he mean, just now? Then she looked at the lady cop’s evil smirk and realized that she was fooled by Stefan. She has broken down with the thought that now nothing can save her, she will reap what she sow. Ashley stood up and moved back to her cell like a lifeless zombie.

In the hospital when Laura entered Sarah’s ward, she felt sweet in her heart seeing her daughter is laughing like crazy with her in-laws beside her.

Laura walked towards Sarah’s sickbed and sat at the stool. “Sarah, dear, what’s wrong, why are you laughing so much?”

“Mom, actually brother Jack was telling the childhood stories of Stefan and his best friend Fuji.”

“Fuji, what kind of name is this?” Laura shrinks her nose and asked.

“Yes, aunt Laura, Fuji was Stefan’s pet,” Jack said with a faint laugh.

Laura’s eyes widen in surprise and then her lips widened in a warm smile seeing her daughter happy who once again burst into laugh listening to Jack’s words.

“By the way Sarah, how is your health, did you eat lunch?”

“Mom, I am perfectly fine, now keep quiet and let Jack continue. Brother Jack, tell me what had happened then?” Sarah said excitedly.

She doesn’t want to do anything rather than listen more and more about Stefan’s childhood stories.

Jack was also enjoying with Sarah and continued to resume his story from where it was stopped.

Stefan scared those girls and complained to the principal, but because Stefan was the best student in studies, sports, and even in extra activities too, the principal didn nothing against him.”

“Gradually, complaints against Stefan increased and the principal has a tough time dealing with it. One day Stefan was called to the principal’s office. Even after being scolded, Stefan determinedly refused to accept his mistake.”

“He strongly put all blame on the girls and said they always try to get close to her for no reason and disturb his studies.”

Once again everybody laughed loud.

“Jack, tell Sarah, what has happened, after that?” Stella said after controlling her laugh.

“Yes, tell me fast.” Sarah nod and said impatiently.

“These regular complaints frustrated principal. He called aunt Amy and told her the whole story. Then aunt Amy took care of him at home, but when she was scolding Stefan, then……. Then…….” Jack couldn’t able to complete his words and started laughing again.

“Then, what? Please tell me fast.” Sarah said with a pout.

Jack couldn’t hold his laugh, then Stella resumes his story. When aunt Amy was scolding Stefan, she heard the sound weird sound of croak, croak. The more aunt Amy was scolding Stefan the sounder increased and then only the whole family came to know that Stefan is hiding a frog.”

“What, a frog?” Laura’s eyes widen in shock. She didn’t know before that Fuji was a frog.

“Yes, mom, Stefan’s pet was a frog, the great Fuji,” Sarah answered between a laugh, and again laughter sound echoed in the ward.

“Then, do you know, Sarah, what he did after that?”

“What?”

“Stefan boldly blackmailed aunty Amy, that if she won’t allow Fuji at home, then he will not study at all and aunt Amy has no choice but to agree to Stefan’s demand.”

The story of Stefan and Fuji has changed the entire atmosphere of Sarah’s ward and it was joyful and full of laughter and people in the ward rolled down while laughing, holding their stomachs.

Just then Stefan and Ronald entered with Julia and Amy and saw everybody is laughing so much.

“Wow, that’s great all are looking very happy,” Julia said and moved towards Sarah. “How are you, dear? I am glad to see you happy.” She kissed her forehead.

“I am fine, big aunt. Jack was telling us childhood stories of Stefan and his pet Fuji.” Sarah said excitedly.

All started laughing again, including Julia and Ronald recalling about the past.

Sujata made disgusting faces and mumbles, “Huh, Fuji.”

Stefan was shocked and his face darkened thinking, his brother sold him. “What Jack, how could you do this?” Stefan was annoyed but couldn’t able to do anything.

Now everybody was laughing at Stefan’s annoyed face and Amy’s weird faces when the doctor entered and saw her patient is much better in shape.

“Mrs. Sarah, you are looking happy, and that’s a good sign of recuperation. Be happy always in this condition and have a good diet. All of you please excuse me, I have to check her.”

All were waiting outside when Jack and Ronald came to Stefan, who was standing at the corner with an angry pout. Jack put a hand on his shoulder “What’s wrong, Stefan?”

Stefan jerked his hand from her shoulder. “Why did you tell my childhood incidents to Sarah?”

“Sarah was upset when you went with Ronald, so I was just trying to cheer her up, that’s it.”

Even though Stefan was still grumpy in his heart when he was sold by Jack and Sarah said it loud in front of everybody, still he smiled and let this matter go because Sarah was happy.

“Alright, let it be, tell me what has happened in the police station. Is your plan worked?” Jack asked.

Stefan and Ronald show their thumbs up to Jack and the trio clapped each other hands.

This is great news for the family that Ronald has got rid of Ashley. The other wonderful news is that Sarah is perfectly fine and can be discharged tomorrow. The family is joyous and Stefan was the happiest one.
