"That's great, that Sarah can go back home tomorrow. It's a Christmas after fifteen days then new year, so it's good that she recuperates fast at home." Amy said.

She is not only joyous but excited that after many years finally, her son will be with her in the festive with his wife. Now her festive will be a real celebration.

They all enjoyed the moment and later leave for home except Stefan and Laura. Stefan was asking Laura not to stay in the hospital anymore but Laura was insisting not to go back home until Sarah is here in the hospital.

"Laura mom, listen to me, you also go home and take a rest I will be with Sarah and take care of your daughter well."

Laura laughed. "I have no doubt on that Stefan, but I want to be with Sarah otherwise I can't be rest assured at home."

Stefan can understand Laura's tension for Sarah but he can't let him spoil her health being in hospital all these nights.

"Laura, mom, last night too you were here and awake. Don't stress yourself too much and go back home first."

"Mom, Stefan is right. You are not allowed to stress yourself otherwise you will fall ill, did you hear me." Sarah said, ordering tone.

"Yes, Laura's mom, go home you need to take a rest. However, tomorrow Sarah is going to get a discharge, so you can come tomorrow."

Sarah and Stefan continued coaxing Laura to go back home without letting her refute.

"Alright, both of you stop scolding me, I will go back home first and come back tomorrow, alright, both of you take care."

"You also be careful on the road." Stefan and Sarah said in unison.

Laura nodded helplessly, hugged Sarah, patted her cheeks, then kissed her forehead. Then she hugged Stefan and walked out of Sarah's ward.

Stefan smiled meaningfully and walked towards Sarah. "Phew, mom has finally understood and went back home now I can spend some quality time with my angel."

"Stefan......" Sarah said in a complaining tone with a pout.

"Alright, my angel, I am sorry, but seriously I was so desperate to spend time with you, and our family members were not leaving us alone."

Stefan sat beside Sarah on the bed and took her hand in his hand lovingly.

"Hmm, I know that but it was you who went out leaving me alone in the hospital," Sarah recalled the time when she spent the whole afternoon chitchatting with Jack and Stella, but Stefan was not with her.

Stefan bows his head and said with guilt, "I am sorry again angel, but that was an important work."

"And what was that?" Sarah asked suspiciously. She knew if Stefan left her alone in the hospital for important work then it was really terrible.

"Let it be Sarah, you are not well, you need rest." Stefan avoided eye contact and doesn't want to continue on this topic.

"Stefan, don't try to hide anything from me," Sarah said sternly.

Stefan said in a surrender tone, "Alright, angel don't get upset, actually that work was related to Ronald and Ashley."

Sarah's facial expression has changed, and it was slightly pale and that is what Stefan doesn't want, that's why he doesn't want to mention Ashley in front of Sarah.

"Why, what's wrong, did she have done something again? This time I won't let her go....." Sarah was talking being upset with a dark face and was about to erupt but interrupted by Stefan.

"Relax, my queen, she is in jail and can't do anything now. It was related to Ronald's divorce, he wanted to divorce, but she was adamant not to divorce Ronald, then I made a plan to trap her."

"Really what was that?" just thought of Stefan's shrewd way to deal with Ashley made Sarah excited.

Stefan smiled and then told Sarah everything and how he compels Ashley to sign the divorce papers.

"Wow, my Mr. Walter, you are very smart." Sarah pulled Stefan's cheek while praising him, then hugged. At first, Stefan was surprised by Sarah's sudden act, then he too hugged her back.

Stefan's heart melted, he was emotional once again and recalled the scene when Sarah has fallen.

"Sarah, I can't describe my condition when I saw you in the pool of blood, that bloody Ashley deserved punishment. She cheated us, that's why I cheat her and......" Stefan was about to burst into anger, but Sarah kept her palm on his mouth and he has to stop.

"Stefan, let it be, Ashley's chapter is now over from our life, let's not talk about her and talk about our self."

Stefan nod and kissed Sarah's palm, which was covering his mouth. "You are right, but before that, I want to talk to my baby, you just lay down." Stefan forcefully made Sarah lay on the bed.

Sarah got up again and said with a pout. "Huh, Stefan you are so bad, I asked you to talk to me but you want to talk to the baby first, why?"

"Yes, I didn't spend time with to baby for long, that's why I want to talk to my baby." Stefan, once again forceful, made Sarah laid down and started talking to the baby in a childish tone.

"Hey baby, it's dad speaking, how are you my princess, are you fine in mom's womb? You know something you are nearer to mom than your dad."

Stefan caresses Sarah's belly and then kissed which tickles her, she hits him. "Ahh, Stefan."

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" Stefan lifts his head and asked seriously, hiding her naughty smile.

"Please don't tease me," Sarah said and crouch her eyelashes being shy.

Stefan looked at her red clouded cheeks and didn't tease her anymore.

"Alright my dear angel, now it's quite late you sleep first."

Stefan stood up from Sarah's sickbed, tidied her clothes, covered her with the quilt, he sat at the stool at the side of the bed, and keep on caressing her forehead until sleep took over her.

As she closed her heavy eyes and sleep took over her, Stefan adored her pale face for a few more minutes, planted a soft kiss on her forehead and he moved towards the couch.

Stefan was relaxed in his heart that he couldn't able to sleep for long with a doting smile, he was to keep on looking at an angelic face in front of him and thinking about Sarah, their baby, and their future. Now no more problem in their life, now nobody will try to design evil plots in their life to harming them. Everything is so perfect.

"Sarah, I will give you and my princess a perfect and happy life and will never let any of you suffer. I will pamper you both and spoil her a lot. My baby will never suffer in life like her parents.

The thoughts about the baby were so heartwarming and it engulfed Stefan in deep slumber.
