Chapter 10: Chapter 10
After eating lunch and chatting with her grandma for a while Celeste proposed to show Liam around before they leave for Toronto. Liam didn't object so they left immediately for sightseeing. They looked around Elora Gorge. It was beautiful. Unlike the summer which brings droves of tourists and sightseers, winter brings out another face of Elora Gorge. There weren't many people around so they had enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Though Celeste preferred Elora in summer the most, winter was also her favourite. Everything was covered in thick white snow.
Celeste and Liam reached the bridge in Bissell park. Celeste left Liam's left arm which she was holding when they were walking and ran forward to the edge of the bridge to look down. Her smile widened watching the beautiful scene in front of her. Liam too slowly came from where he was standing and stood beside her.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Celeste asked awed without looking at Liam. When she didn't get a reply she turned around to look at him and found him looking at her intensely. He didn't look away when she caught him staring at her instead his eyes roamed around over her face. Celeste blushed under his intense gaze. It gave her goosebumps in her whole body making her inside melt in that cold season. Suddenly Liam leaned his face forward to hers. Her eyes went wide in shock but she didn't back off instead she closed her eyes tightly and in a moment his lips were on hers.
Liam wrapped his arms around Celeste as he deepened their kiss. Celeste too wrapped her arms around her neck and pulled him more closer as she responded to his hot kiss. Even though it was the middle of the winter and they were outdoors, Celeste still felt her whole body burning hot. Monkeys dancing in her stomach making her heart race. She still couldn't believe this man had so much effect on her. Finally after one more nibble both of them pulled away breathless. Celeste had her eyes still closed as she tried to catch her breath while her forehead rested on his. On the other hand Liam's eyes were open and he was staring at Celeste with a soft smile on his face.
So adorable!
"Let's go to the farmers market before we finally leave." Celeste said, opening her eyes. Liam nodded and Celeste created a small space between them. Before she could take a step further Liam pulled her towards him and entwined their hands. Celeste smiled looking at their entwined hands as they walked together side by side.

"Are you sure you want to take all of these with us?" Liam asked dumbfounded. He looked at the piles of things his wife had brought. Vegetables, fruits, flower plantations and many more things.
"Yes, of course. All of these things are freshly picked up from the field. They are fresh and healthy." Celeste said with a wide grin as she picked up two bags and moved towards their car to keep them. Liam also followed behind holding a few packages. They both kept the things Celeste had brought from the farmers market on the back of the car.
"All done. Let's go. We have to go back soon so I could start cooking these goods." Celeste said excitedly before moving towards the passenger seat of the car and getting in without waiting for Liam's words. Liam sighed and moved to get himself in the car. He hated crowded and noisy places like this. But he couldn't voice his thoughts out. Liam got in the car and started driving towards Marielle's house. After a while they reached the house while Celeste kept talking non-stop. Liam was a bit irritated with her non-stop chatting but kept silent. He nodded occasionally when Celeste tried to include him in her conversation. At first Liam had thought Celeste was a soft spoken shy girl but it turned out to be wrong. That girl could talk non-stop till hours without feeling bored. Liam being a soft spoken person hated those types of people, but what could he do when his wife turned out to be that type of person?
Liam sighed out of relief when they reached in front of Marielle's house. He parked the car in the front and got out. Celeste too got out and moved towards the back of the car. She took out a few things she had brought for her grandma and moved towards the entrance where Liam was standing. She smiled at him before they both entered the house.
Marielle was watching Tom and Jerry when Celeste entered the living room. She grinned before calling her grandma.
"Grandma! I brought you fresh jujubes and peaches from the farmers market. Come have a look. They are all ripe and juicy." Celeste informed Marielle happily. Marielle, who was watching cartoons while drinking some juice, turned around excitedly.
"Oh darling, let me have some. I was craving them but Maggie never got the time to bring me some." Marielle said the last part with a sigh. Celeste shook her head as she opened two packages and took out some ripe peach and jujubes. Marielle was about to take them from Celeste's hand when she moved her hands out of her reach.
"No, grandma. Let me wash them for you first." Celeste said in a stern tone before getting up to wash the fruits. Marielle pouted but didn't say anything. Her eyes landed on Liam who was coming towards her.
"Celeste, we need to leave immediately. There's an emergency in the office." Liam said to Celeste who came back from the kitchen after washing the fruits for her grandma. She paused for a while hearing his words. She felt a bit bad since it's not even 6 in the evening. They could have stayed a few more hours before leaving but she understood his reasons and nodded obediently before moving towards her grandma who was looking at them silently.
"I'm sorry grandma. We have to go now but I promise I will bring Celeste to visit you soon." Liam said in a gentle voice turning towards the old woman. Marielle smiled and nodded before speaking.
"It's okay, dear. Your work is more important but please take care of my baby. She has no one but me." Marielle said emotionally holding Liam's hand. Liam placed his hands above Marielle's with a firm nod.
"Don't worry, I will." He said before getting up. He turned towards Celeste and commanded her to get ready soon as they will be leaving in 15 mins. Celeste didn't object and moved towards upstairs to get freshen up. After a while she came back and hugged her grandma.
"Please take care grandma. Drink less wine. I will tell Maggie to always bring you whatever you want. I love you." Celeste said the last part before losing her grandma's cheek. Marielle nodded and kissed Celeste's forehead.
"I will. You too take care, darling. Call me everyday." Marielle said the last part strictly. Celeste chuckled before nodding.
"Yes. Bye." With one last hug to her grandma Celeste got into the waiting car. Liam was already in the car. Celeste smiled at him a bit before he finally started the car.

"I'm going to take a shower first." Celeste informed Liam as soon as they reached and settled in their home. She didn't wait for Liam's reply instead she turned around and moved towards their bedroom. After reaching her room she took out a fresh set of clothes and kept them on the bed before entering the washroom. She slowly undressed herself and threw the dirty clothes in the washing basket before turning on the shower and standing under it. At first she thought of taking a relaxing bath in the bathtub by soaking herself under the warm water. But she then remembered Tracy was still on leave so she had to hurry and cook dinner for both of them so she settled for the warm quick shower instead.
Celeste was about to reach for the shower gel when the washroom door suddenly burst open and a naked Liam came out. His eyes went wide as she stared at him dumbfounded. She didn't lock the washroom door since it's only her and Liam in the house. But she didn't think Liam would come and join her in the shower. Her heart started beating faster as he took steps towards her as his eyes roamed around her wet naked body. She turned her back towards him as her face burned in embarrassment. Her mind wandered towards the last night's memory and the possibility of repeating it here in the washroom under the warm shower. She shivered when she found him standing behind her and then wrapping his arms around her. He buried his face in her neck before finally speaking.
"Let's take shower together." He whispered in a husky voice as he started placing light kisses on her neck to shoulder. His hands had minds of their own as they started roaming on her naked body.
