Chapter 94: Chapter 94
My eyes widened, and my calm expression broke immediately. Why did Wyatt block me? Although I kept racking my brain, I couldn't find a suitable reason.
My mood plummeted, and I couldn't help but place my head on the table aggrievedly. 'Maia, why did he block us, do you know?'
Maia exhaled a confused sigh, 'No, I didn't. Do you think…'
'Baby, I'm sorry. Had to settle issues.' Wyatt's calm mind-link interrupted Maia's and my conversation.
I don't know when a sigh of relief spilled past my lips. I really thought I said something wrong, which was the reason Wyatt blocked me.
I sat up immediately and placed my chin on my elbow. 'Scared me. I thought you were annoyed at me.' I replied.
'Why will I be? I'm not annoyed. Caught abrupt and had to leave. I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Wyatt explained.
Lorelei's expression changed, and she turned back to glare at me fiercely.
My lips curved wickedly, and I couldn't help but understand something. Perhaps Wyatt's behavior stemmed from giving Lorelei a warning? I think that's likely. Lorelei's fierce glare must have been a result of that too!
'For Lorelei?' I inquired.
Wyatt fell silent, but in the next minute, he replied honestly. 'Ehn'
My mind was invaded with warmth. I didn't expect that Wyatt would warn Lorelei for such a simple quibble. He's really adorable and wonderful. Curiosity about what Wyatt could've said to make Lorelei angry immediately bloomed in my mind. 'What…'
Before I could complete my words, a male teacher calmly stepped into the classroom.
Oliver stood up and ordered everyone to stand up to greet the teacher.
I sighed and massaged my waist before standing. Upon standing up, I couldn't help but wince slightly.
I pouted and tried hard to stop myself from stomping my feet. 'It's all because of you. So lustful and intense.' I accused Wyatt using the mind-link. Throughout the two weeks, I was tossed numerous times, yet he won't even let me go this morning!
'I'm sorry, babe. I'll make it up to you.' Wyatt's calm voice replied in my mind.
Upon hearing Wyatt's response, my eyes lit up in excitement. Wyatt has always been meticulous; I wonder how he'll make it up to me. I know Wyatt isn't the type to prepare something mediocre. 'How?' I retorted.
'I'll let you ride me in return... until it hurts... me.' He mindlinked in a flirty, shameless, hooligan tone.
My face flushed immediately. Just how did I think this person was cold and composed? Utterly flirty and shameless! Just like his friends!
I quickly sat down and lowered my head to hide the redness that crept to my face upon hearing Wyatt's sentence.
Upon calming down, I huffed at Wyatt. 'Nonsense! What'll be the difference with my current situation in the end? To think I fell for the first sentence. Wyatt Hayes, you're really scheming.' I complained and huffed at him again.
Wyatt had great stamina, while I have ordinary stamina. Who'll hurt who? Before I could move an inch of him, I'd have long burst into tears while begging him to let me go.
Wyatt chuckled and calmly asked, 'Giving you a chance, won't consider it?'
I firmly shook my head and said, 'Thank you; I'm fine without revenge." I gnashed my teeth angrily. Who's revenging whom? Rather, I'm serving myself to him on a platter. Hmph! Scheming as hell.
Suddenly, a thought flashed through my mind. Due to the tossing of two weeks, my whole body feels sore. There was no way I could bear to be trained by Asher, so I could only tell Wyatt to help me handle Asher. 'Wyatt, can you tell Asher to teach me three days later? I have to rest…'
'Payment?' Wyatt calmly retorted.
My eyes widened in disbelief. Wyatt was the reason I'm in my current position, yet he wants payment before he tells Asher to stop training me until I'm completely strong. Shameless! Preposterous! 'For real, Wyatt?' I snorted.
'Ehn.' Wyatt calmly replied, and I couldn't help but scoff inwardly. Suddenly, a thought came to my mind, and I couldn't help but smile sweetly.
'Hubby, tell Asher I agree to his one-year stand.' I told him in a calm, sweet, and tiny voice, even though I was finding it hard to stifle my laughter due to the words. If Wyatt thinks I'm easy to knead, then he's kidding!
Of course, I'm just kidding anyway. I only have the intention to play Wyatt; I don't dare to…
'Maia Hayes!' Wyatt calmly called, but his voice was filled with so much threat that I couldn't help but remember that domineering alpha in rut who tossed me about throughout the two weeks.
A shiver ran through my spine immediately. My throat went dry, and I couldn't help but gulp in nervousness. It seems I played too far. 'Hub. Hubby.' I couldn't help but stutter due to nervousness.
'I didn't satisfy you enough?' he calmly asked; however, I can't miss the threat that laced his tone.
I gulped it down in fear. For Wyatt to say this. Doesn't that mean I'm dead next weekend? That means I'll have to be properly satisfied by him! Will my waist not break into two at the end? The thought almost made me shed tears.
'No. No. Hubby. I was just joking around. You oversatisfied me. Extremely satiated.' I quickly clarified while twisting my fingers in nervousness.
"..." Immediately, I was replied to in silence by Wyatt.
I clenched my fist nervously; I didn't realize that my joke would end up with such a response. What will I do now? 'Hubby, I was wrong. I daren't have a one-year stand.' I tried to coax Wyatt.
"..."
'Hubby, it's not fair. You can't ignore me. I'm just trying to pull your legs.' I mind-link him.
"..."
'Wyatt Hayes…'
"Maia, your exam paper." The sudden voice of Oliver snapped me out of my pleading.
I raised my head absentmindedly, and Oliver waved the exam paper to me with a calm smile, making me jolt out of my reverie.
Oliver flashed me a knowing smile, and I couldn't help but bow my head. He definitely knew I was mind-linking Wyatt. That's what his smile indicates!
"Sure. Thank you." I nodded and collected the exam sheet from him after regaining my calm. I placed my exam sheet on the table and tuned out the noise before paying attention to Wyatt.
'Wyatt.' I called again while trying to imitate a childish and soft tone like Arya used to. 'Wish me good luck. I'm about to begin my exam.' I paused my lips in nervousness, in fear that he wouldn't reply to me again.
