Chapter 84: Chapter 84
I woke up to a startle due to the ringing of my room's alarm.
I pouted my lips in disgruntlement and rolled deeper into the bed, pulling the blanket tighter to my body.
Gosh! Even though today is Monday, I don't want to wake up! I still can't snap out of the fun we had during the weekend. Not to mention that Arya and I had watched movies late until Wyatt had to intervene.
Arya groaned and flailed her legs drowsily. "Maia, please. Turn it off. I want to sleep, please." Arya grumbled in a drowsy voice. Immediately, she placed one of the pillows on her head to block the loud noise.
Hearing Arya, I knew I had no choice but to stand up and turn off the alarm. Moreover, I'm still sleepy, and I won't be able to sleep with the alarm noise.
I sat up unhappily and picked up the clock before turning it off while trying to resist the certain urge that wanted to throw the clock at the wall.
It was 3:03 a.m. Too early. I smacked my lips together and rubbed my eyes while yawning.
Why did I set the alarm to such a time in the first place? I knitted my brows in confusion and tried to recall things.
Oh! Asher! Suddenly, it clicked! Asher and I will be continuing our training today. I threw the blanket off my body and jumped out of bed.
Asher had repeatedly warned me that I shouldn't be late for the training, which will begin at 3:30 a.m. Now it's 3:04 a.m. Before I finish my preparation... Goddess!
My sleepiness vanished immediately at the thought. Quickly, I sped into the bathroom to do all the necessities.
As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, I went to the closet to pick a training outfit to wear. The time was 3:28 a.m. by the time I was done. I sighed and sped down the stairs.
Upon seeing Asher leisurely sitting on one of the sofas with a bottle of water in his hand, I heaved a sigh of relief. I wasn't late. "Good morning, teacher." I greeted Asher with a bow.
Whenever it comes to training, there's no friendly relationship between us except that of a teacher and student. The few days of training with Asher had made me realize that.
"Good morning." Asher placed the bottle of water on the table and stood up before gazing at me indifferently. "We'll be using Wyatt's gym today. We begin by jogging there." He instructed.
"Sure." I nodded and followed behind Asher, who had begun to walk out of the mansion.
I paused when I saw Oswald and Wyatt outside the mansion. Oh, I've forgotten that the three do exercise together. However, it'll be two since Asher will be busy teaching me from now on.
"Good morning, Alpha, Beta." I greeted the two with a slight bow, believing that there was no relationship between all of us whenever it came to training.
Oswald and Wyatt both nodded to me with indifference—as expected—and began to jog out of the whole mansion.
I tilted my head in bewilderment. Wyatt's gym should be in his mansion, shouldn't it? Why are we jogging out of the mansion then?
Although I had numerous thoughts running through my mind, I kept quiet and followed them.
“That’s not it.” Asher paused and turned to me while Oswald and Wyatt continued jogging without paying attention to us.
"Huh?" I paused and tilted my head, wondering what Asher meant.
Asher walked behind me and used his big hands to touch my back. His warm breath began to spray on my neck, making my whole being nervous.
Asher and I are close right now. Too close to each other. I could smell his wonderful patchouli scent that kept drifting into my nose.
"Asher,” I called in a whisper that ended up shaky due to my nervousness.
“Straighten your back like this." Asher’s hand ran through my spine before using his hand to straighten my back as he wanted.
“And position your arms like this.” Asher ran his hands through my hands before holding it up and positioning it.
I gulped. Asher is a danger. Why is he doing this to me? I shook my head. I need to snap out of it. "Asher."
"En?"
"Can you lean back? I understand." I whispered in a tiny voice. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that he was flirting with me!
"Are you nervous around me, baby?" Asher asked in a pleasant, deep tone that sent shivers coursing through my system. I could feel beautiful butterflies.
I was right; Asher was deliberately flirting with me.
Asher lowered his head to my ear and asked, "Aren't you unaffected by a playboy? Are you lying?" He chuckled again, his chest plastered to my back. His flirty laugh was very pleasant to hear.
I feel my body turning soft. Asher, that playboy was beginning to affect me. Damn it. Not Asher again.
Ugh! I hate myself whenever I'm around them. I glared at Asher and angrily pushed him away before jogging toward the direction Wyatt and Oswald had just gone! That jerk. How dare he?
Asher chuckled and followed me, easily catching my pace with a few strides. "You're quite fun to tease." He divulged.
I glared at him and didn't reply. What fun to tease? He's just flirting around like usual!
Soon, I realized that the routine was to jog around the pack before returning to Wyatt's gym.
I also realized that we weren't the only ones training every morning. There were a lot of people doing their training, and whenever they came across us, they'd politely greet Oswald, Wyatt, and Asher.
After we jogged around the pack, we returned to Wyatt's mansion. However, instead of directly entering the mansion, we made a turn to the left. At the back of Wyatt's mansion was a big building that housed the gym and a lot of things I'm yet to know.
Asher revealed that the building also had a pool to practice swimming.
Although Oswald and Wyatt had entered the gym with us, by the time we began practicing, I couldn't see the two
"Since the madman is teaching you combat skills..."
"Don't call my Rex a madman," I growled angrily and glared at Asher, interrupting him. How dare he call Rex a madman?
Asher snorted. "Have you seen him fight before? No." He retorted knowingly. Oh, the nickname was derived from his fighting skills. I guess Rex had shocking fighting skills. Yes, he had always had
"But. Wait. Are you cheating on Oswald and Wyatt?" Asher suddenly cried out dramatically.
"What's there to cheat? Rex and I are betrothed. We are childhood sweethearts." I explained. Knowing Asher, he'll definitely let the two know what I said, which is a good thing for me.
"No way." Asher cried out in shock.
I shrugged and nodded. "Yes way."
"Alright," Asher indifferently replied, returning to the indifferent training teacher he was. "I'll teach you how to use weapons. Let's start with a dagger. Hold your dagger like this." Asher gripped the dagger and showed me how to hold it.
After explaining things to me, Asher handed the dagger to me. I nodded and tried to hold the dagger according to how he instructed me to. "Like this?"
"No. Not like that. You direct your energy here." Asher shook his head and tapped my hand. "Position your body like this. No..."
Suddenly, Asher hugged me from behind and wrapped his hand around my waist. He began to use his hands to position my body while touching me in a not-quite-decent way.
I stared at the calm Asher from the corner of my eyes and frowned immediately. "Why does it seem that you're taking advantage of me this morning?" I asked. Although his face looks calm and indifferent, his hands aren't!
"Don't be silly. I'm an honest man." He rebuked in a feignedly honest tone.
I let out a snort. If Asher is honest, then there's no playboy.
"Don't be stiff," Asher whispered next to my ear, making me stiffen.
His hand fell on my shoulder, and he slowly massaged my shoulder twice before his hand fell on my wrist. His patchouli scent kept invading my nose strongly, making my legs weak. I had to bite my lips to help me regain my rationality.
However, Asher isn't helping things. It seems as if he was purposely teasing me instead of training me.
By the time we were done, I wondered if this was Asher's way to let out his grudges or if he was just making things difficult for me.
As I trudged back to the mansion, I couldn't help but wonder if I'd be given another teacher if I requested it.
However, Wyatt and Oswald are no good either. Oswald's flirting will be too bad, and he'll deliberately make things more difficult for me. Not to mention that we have a hate relationship between us!
Moreover, Wyatt is too strict and hard to understand. Thinking about how he flirted with me back in the kitchen, I have the feeling that he won't let me go without flirting daily.
Sigh! Life is very difficult for this omega!
"Tomorrow night, the full moon will appear. I hope I can find my mate tomorrow." Arya said it dreamily as soon as I stepped into the room. She was completely dressed in her school uniform, swinging her legs as she stared at me.
Upon hearing Arya's words, I paused in my tracks. Full moon? My heat always arrives the week before or the full moon week. I can't believe that I've forgotten! Gosh!
