Chapter 18: Chapter 18

I stepped back and pulled my bangs back. Looking at Jackie who was staring at his left, I moved my sight towards his. There stood a girl,she might be in her early twenties as Jackie. She looked stunning with her blonde which was shining and streaming over her bare shoulder. Her dress was silver in colour which ended between her thighs.she wore a pair of high heels which made her to be exactly in Jackie's height. I guess I myself wont reach his height if I was with those same heels. Her curves were perfect as well as her skin was shining which gave her a glamorous look. I sighed at the perfection of her makeup. She had a glossy red lipstick which made her attractive whereas I hate using lipsticks and heels.

Finally I removed my sight away from her and turned towards Jackie who was staring at her as I did earlier. He just didn't even realise that I was looking at him with curiosity loaded .

"Natasha,"he whispered by looking at her with furrowed eyebrows.

She moved her palm over his shoulder and brushed her finger over his shirt.

"Yes it's me Jackie," she said in a soothing way. she moved her palm away from his shirt and brushed through Jackie's hair"You look handsome as ever,"she whispered melodiously where Jackie stood there stunned almost.

I glanced back at her. Whoever she is and raised my eyebrows ,seeing her arms wrapped around Jackie's. He didn't bother to look at me whereas he kept on staring at her. This made me crazy.

"Shall we dance,"she asked him softly by holding Jackie's hand and placing it around her waist.

"Really," I frowned and turned around. Without looking back at them I walked away.

"Seriously!He called me and he's dancing with her,"I grumbled and sat in front of the mega table which contained almost many kinds of food. I crossed my arms on my chest and looked at the foods which were arranged in a spotless manner. A smile appeared on my lips when I saw a bowl full of astrology chocolates. Immediately I leaned forward and grabbed one of the chocolates to stuff in my mouth.

I slowly held the paper which was popping up and removed the gold wrapper where the tiny little yummy chocolate was hidden. I stuffed the whole chocolate at once in my mouth and unfolded the paper and it read

'You will get your first kiss quickly'

"Come on," I sighed and crushed that small bit of paper and placed it on the table.

Before I could take my hand off the table I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey Barbie girl,"

I stood and turned around to see who it was.

"Will you dance with me,"he asked gently with a charming smile on his face.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him. He was wearing a grey tuxedo which went well with his complexion. He has thin curved eyebrows and blue eyes.

"My girlfriend hasn't arrived yet. So.... just only till she arrive,"he asked in way that I couldn't say 'no'

I turned towards my left to see Jackie who was dancing with that girl. Her head was rested on his shoulder and they were moving slowly to the music. But to my surprise Jackie was looking at me. Almost staring at me without paying any attention to the dance.

"Was he looking at me for a long time,"my mind questioned. I furrowed my eyebrows at him and turned around to face that unknown person with a smile on my face.

"Of course,"I agreed and turned back again to see Jackie who's eyes were glued on me.

We walked together to the center and danced together.

After a few minutes, which seemed like hours to me I finally got the courage to say enough. I know it was rude but I was bored.

I walked towards the mega table and sat in front again. I looked around to find Jackie but I couldn't.

"Why should I look for him ,"I argued with my spirits and wanted to grab another chocolate.

I leaned forward and inserted my palm into the bowl expecting good astrology. I pulled out a chocolate with a wide smile on my face but I put that back into the bowl when someone tapped my shoulders.

"You want a drink ma'am,"the waiter asked.

"No," I replied immediately, still leaning forward.

"This is for you,"he said and handed me a piece of paper. Before I could ask for an explanation he left.

I sat comfortably and unfolded the paper immediately. The words in that paper made me sweat. My palms began to sweat as well as there were droplets of sweat appearing on my forehead.

The letter reads I can see you Anna. You look pretty with that dress. Everytime I look at you it reminds me of the past. You can not run away from me. I'm here for you my sweetheart. '

I stood and paused as a figure appeared in front of me. I looked up and "Jackie," I blurted out without my conscious.

I was glad that I saw him. I didn't know why but I felt comfortable and safe when I saw him. A wide smile appeared on my face when I looked at him.

"You just danced with a stranger,"he stated in a quite rough tone which made the smile on my face fly away .

"You just left me and danced with someone else,"I replied roughly to match his tone.

He raised an eyebrow and moved forward.

"You were the one who left,"

"Ahh that's funny Jackie. You just moved on with her and expect me to stand there and watch you dance. Just go back to your girlfriend, "

"She is not my girlfriend," he replied quite loudly in a harsh way which made me bounce back a little. It's my first time seeing Jackie with this face.

"What if he does something to you Anna?"

Seriously he was getting on my nerves. I kept a step forward and looked into him.

"You are not my boyfriend to care about me,"I replied aloud.

Before I felt sick I left that place in a flash and went out.
