Chapter 19: Chapter 19

I looked at the moonlight and leaned against the bench. Many thoughts popped in my mind.

"Does he know about Amy,"this question was driving me crazy. It is because he doesn't know that I have a sister as she was abroad for her education.

I sighed and closed my eyes where the tears were allowed to flow down. I couldn't bear it any more. The thoughts of my parents made tears to prick my eyes. I needed a hug which would comfort me. I needed to tell someone and feel relieved. But how. To whom can I tell cause Amy doesn't know the truth.

I sat there trying to relax my mind by closing my eyes. The surrounding was in silence except for some sound of the insects. The cool breeze gave me shivers as it was cold.

After a while I opened my eyes when I felt someone sitting next to me. I opened my eyes and saw Jackie who was looking at me with an unreadable expression.

I looked at him and moved forward and sat straight without glancing at him.

"What's wrong,"he asked. I could find care in his voice because it sounded worried.

I turned towards my right and looked into his eyes which were looking back at mine.

Without a word I hugged him immediately.

I inhaled his scent and took hold of him tighter. I crushed his shirt and leaned over him when he wrapped his arm around my back. I knew I was crushing and drenching his shirt but I remained like that till I felt better. The surrounding was in silence where my sobs could be heard clearly.

"Anna,"he whispered softly by rubbing my back. I didn't want to say anything so I just remained quiet instead of replying. I nodded. I stayed like that for a long time, maybe for at least half an hour.

Abruptly I pulled myself away from him. I looked at the ground without looking at him as he kept quiet.

"I'm sorry," I blurted out softly by inhaling my breath" I ruined your shirt."

"Hmm,"he wrapped his arm around me and moved closer . "You okay"

I nodded instead of answering because I would burst out crying. He remained silent without giving out another word.

"I I Im....m.....,"I stammered when I spoke.

"Its okay. If you don't want to tell me ....its fine,"he stated softly by looking at me but I didn't look at

him. I wanted to tell him but couldn't. Many thoughts began to rise up in my mind again but it all vanished when Jackie placed his head over mine. I turned towards my right swiftly which made our forehead to be on each other. He moved his hand up where his palm was at the back of my neck.

I could inhale his warm breaths which gave me chills down my spine as it was cold out here. He moved his face closer to mine as I was just a statue without a move. I looked into his eyes and could find something in it. Some kind of feeling which made me not to move away.

I closed my eyes when his upper lip touched mine. As he moved his lip closer...........

"Jackie,"Jon called out which made him move away but I was still there in the same position looking at him.

"We gotta go,"Jon said and walked towards us stepping out of the dark."Mom called!"

"Yeeahh,"Jackie mumbled and stood up from the bench.

"Alright....let's move on,"Jon said and looked at me. I looked away from Jackie when I realised that Jon

was looking at me.

"Seems like we are here at the wrong time,"Bray who was standing next to Jon winked at me. A hot blush immediately rose up over my cheeks which made me lower my gaze.

"What do you mean, "Jon asked by furrowing his eyebrows.

"Urgh ...nothing," Jackie said, Pushing Jon by his shoulders to walk ahead as he followed him behind.

"Ohhh Anna.....Blushing doesn't go well on you,"Bray teased with a smirk.
