Chapter 95: Chapter 95

"You should have at le--," he halted, shaking his head, "hav--," his head swirled, "I---," he closed his eyes and fall down on the couch.

"Uh-huh," Sid mumbled, looking at the glass he had just poured down his throat.

"There were sleeping pills in those glasses." Lauren voiced, she was standing in the door of the kitchen and smiling, "all your guards are down." she added when Sid too passed out.

"What did you do?" I asked in fear, meeting eyes with Dina, who was kneeling before Sid in fear.

"Oh, I didn't do anything, he drank it himself. He'll be out for just a few hours; those were small doses" She waved at her son like she cared nothing about him. "He is anyways a disgrace and disappointment." She rolled her eyes, finally revealing her true colors. We all stopped and looked above, it has started to rain.

"What are you planning to do?" I asked, still confused how was she prepared for this night?

"Oh, nothing," she smiled and we felt the smoke filling up our noses. "Oh, feels like someone's house is catching fire." she shrugged, it was this moment that Dina and I shared glances, we looked in each other's eyes and fear struck us.

"Don't even plan on escaping, the windows are shut and so is the door, sadly, our neighbors had left for their village too." She was mad, the smile on her face was telling us that she feared no loss.

"You are insane," I yelled, Dina looked through her phone and narrowed her eyes.

"You are not going to get any reception tonight." Lauren had planned it all and that's when it hit me.

"Where is Bailey?" I feared for the answer, Lauren smiled and blushed. What has she done to Bailey?

"Don't worry, all the worries will end after tonight." she giggled and kept her one hand behind her body. I watched the door and began to rush at it when Lauren pulled a gun from behind her and pointed it at Dina.

"You move and she dies." She smiled in triumph. Dina looked scared, but her main concern was Sid.

"Please let them go, you hate me, keep me, but they have nothing to do with you," I begged before her, but she was Lauren, who never spared her kids from her wicked schemes, why would she spare others?

"Wouldn't you be scared without them? They walked in with you, they have to stay with you." She smiled wickedly, she then looked above and smiled. "Oh look who has sneaked in," she said.

Dina and I looked up and saw nothing, who was she looking at?

"Oh! You didn't hear that thud?" she kept the gun at Dina and muttered, "I knew Steven would come after you." she shrugged her shoulders and smiled.

I heard the doorknob being swirled but the door didn't open upstairs. Lauren saw us being confused, so she decided to let us know what was her plan.

"The doors are locked," she smiled again, "Oh, but I have the key." She added and pressed her lips into a tight line. I stepped back and sat with Tucker, holding his hand, If only one of the boys could wake up.

"But I have not given you the best surprise yet." She laughed and excitedly announced. The fire has started from the kitchen and I feared if she was only scaring us or she has planned to do worst with us.

"The best part is that the room Steven is in, it has gasoline in the bathroom so you know what is going to happen to Steven." She excitingly shrugged her shoulders and watched our faces as our jaw dropped in terror and shock. The fire started with a simple piece of clothing on the kitchen counter, which I assumed wouldn't waste time hitting the curtains.

"You can't do this to him," I mumbled in fear, getting up from my place and pleading with her through eyes.

"Why not?" she looked at me with no emotions on her face, she was a Satan.

"Please, I will do whatever you want me to do, but please give me the keys," I begged and satisfaction covered her face. She made sure Sid and Tucker don't pass out for long, she wanted them to be awake when the fire turns their skins into crisps.

"You have to choose." there it was, she loved to play with other's misery. She directed the gun at Tucker and deepened her stare at me, "him or him," she announced, raising the other hand with the key in it. Dina sobbed loudly, this was horrible, how can she be so heartless.

"That is your son." I cried, my hand pointing at Tucker, poor him, his own mother was risking his life for games.

"So you are choosing him?" she looked at Tucker,

"No!" the word just left my lips suddenly, "I can't choose, please," I begged again, this was the cruelest thing one could ask for.

"Then they both die," she stated and nodded strongly.

"No, please!" I felt like my heart was being clenched in her fist, everything was happening so fast that my brain has stopped processing at this point.

"Giselle, you okay?" I heard from upstairs, as much as I wanted to call his name, I couldn't because Tucker was at her target.

Lauren coughed and so did we when the smoke began to spread.

"I chose S----," I stuttered but was intervened with Steven breaking the door. Lauren was shocked to see Steven rushing out of the room and running downstairs. Lauren freaked out and rushed in my way, she grabbed me and put the gun into my head.

"One more step and she dies here," she warned, halting Steven at his pace.

"Let her go," He muttered, his eyes cold and emotionless.

"To the side." She gestured through the gun, asking them to move aside. "Move, or I will pull the trigger." They agreed, her cold hand was giving me chills. She made us go upstairs and dragged me inside Ivory's room and locked it from the outside.

"Don't worry, at least your friends will live." She laughed hysterically.

"You are insane," I announced and she stopped laughing.

"You and your family made me like this." She yelled and slapped me across the face, I landed on the floor and was shocked to see Bailey being held captive on the other side of the bed. Her hands were tied behind her, her feet too, and tape over her mouth.

"Let her go." I cried I have no idea what was going on downstairs but at least they were safe, or were they?

"Why? I don't wanna die alone, I am scared." tears ran down her cheeks, but she didn't lose her concentration from the gun in her hand.

The house got the fire real quick, I never thought my ending will be like this.
