Chapter 70: Chapter 70
"Aunt Lauren!" I plead to her, tears had begun to leave my eyes at this point.
"Mom, what should I do now?" he asked, there was evilness in his voice.
"Do it quick," she ordered, tilting her face and staring at me with no remorse, no guilt. My eyes jumped out in shock and I gulped, how could she?
"Please, no!" I begged and he stared into my eyes. He held my wrists above my head and lowered his other hand to unbuckle his pant but he paused. He lifted his face and stared at my face again, my eyes were pouring tears and my heart racing in my chest. He closed his eyes shut with pressure and opened them again.
"Go to your room," he whispered, the harshness on his face has disappeared. It felt like for a moment, he forgot who he was but now he was back to the Tucker, who resists being a**hole. He let go of me and stepped back. I was too scared to move at first, my whole body was shivering with fear.
"Go!" he yelled, making me jump on my spot. I began running out of the kitchen when Lauren grabbed my hand, she looked disappointed in her son.
"Are you out of your mind?" she yelled at Tucker, who turned around to watch us. She was holding me tightly, I kept trying to escape her, hitting and all I could do.
"Let her go." Tucker approached his mother and held her hand and pulled us apart. I was free to go, I quickly exit the room and ran.
"STOP! I'M NOT A CHILD WHO YOU CAN MANIPULATE." I heard him shouting, but I was already near my room. I haven't even gotten inside when someone came out of my room, I bumped into him and stepped back in a hurry. I was taken aback by this person, who was he and what was he doing in my room?
"Giselle!" he whispered, grabbing my hands and pulling me inside the room. I was shaking, trying to get out of his grip.
"Hey! It's me," he uttered, and I looked up, seeing Steven before my eyes, I rushed in his chest. Obviously, he was surprised by my action, but it wasn't long that he hugged me back.
"What happened?" he questioned, I bet he could feel my heart beating loudly from the back of my body. I didn't lift my head and kept my eyes closed.
"Tell me what happened Elle?" he mumbled, keeping me close to his chest. I was crying and sobbing on his chest, my eyes were burning due to crying for the past few minutes.
"Elle!" he shook my body and made me lift my head, there was a tension in his eyes.
"How did---why di--," due to crying so bad, I was now doomed in hiccups.
"Dina told me what happened between you, him, and his mother, we were outside your house to cheer you up, she was calling you and you didn't answer her. I felt like something was wrong, so I climbed your window. But you tell me what happened?" he insisted, there was a warm feeling that I got from his touch.
"Why didn't you think that maybe I was sleeping," I asked, still shaking, but at comfort because I knew there was no way Tucker or his mother can lay their finger at me when Steven was here.
"I just don't know, I didn't feel right," he murmured, shaking his head and watching my face. "Tell me what happened?" he interrogated, his eyes looking at mine directly and deadly.
"I had a bad fight with Tucker and Lauren," I lied, I couldn't tell him that he tried to do something to me because I knew if I did, he will probably try to harm him and I would never want him to end up behind the bars because of me.
"Explain the bad fight!" He stepped back and I quickly stepped his way, placing my hands on his chest again. He was shocked at me getting close to him, but honestly speaking, his closeness was giving me comfort.
"Just a bad fight," I mumbled, looking down. "I can't stay here anymore Steven," I added and his hands turned into tight fists.
"You are not telling me anything," he stated, clenching his jaws angrily.
"They tried to hurt me." I wanted to let him know it was serious but also keep him from doing anything crazy.
"That son of a b****!" Steven pushed me away and began rushing in the door. I ran in front of him and held his hands, but he was not in a mood of listening to me.
"Steven please stop!" I mumbled, he was making too many noises," Steven for me please?" I uttered, and he ceased, lowering his face and watching my face.
"Please!" I whispered. "Pack your stuff." He uttered, walking towards my closet.
"I can't do it right now, I have to wait for Uncle Ben," I said from behind him, but this dude, he had already begun to look for a bag.
"Why? So that they can get a chance to make your stay somehow?" he stated pissed, using all his gestures as he spoke. "Who keeps a bag under their bed?" he complained, bending over and dragging it out.
"Who doesn't have a big closet like yours." I shrugged my shoulders, can you believe that just I survived something so terrible only a few minutes ago? Credit goes to his company, he really made me feel safe. It was my mistake for not seeing the red flags, but I'm glad nothing happened. The worst thing is, how are we going to provide proof if somebody did something to us?
"Hey, don't!" I glared, slapping his hand as he reached out for my closet.
"My private stuff is in there." I frowned, eyeing him to sit on the bed while I am packing.
"What private stuff, is it guns or bombs?" He shrugged, rolling his eyes.
"Stuff that holds my bombs." I covered my lips as soon as I mumbled that part, ouch! He watched my face in shock for a moment and then blurt out laughter.
"By the way, doesn't it take a day or two to finish all the process of Lock's Orphanage to live there? So where will I be staying during that time?" I really hoped to stay with Dina but knowing Sheriff would persuade me or will even force me to stay with Arch until the whole process is done, I can't risk it.
"Umm!" Steven lowered his face and mumbled something.
"I didn't hear you." I walked closer to him to hear him clearly.
"You'll be staying at my mansion." He stated and lifted his face with a huge smile, showing all of his white teeth.
